I had two copperheads in my backyard around the patio area. Triangle Wildlife arrived promptly when I called, and quickly found and captured both snakes. Derek clearly knew a lot about reptiles, and handled the whole process efficiently. I will definitely call them again if I have any more critters!

CJ came out to look at my problem. He called to say he was running a few minutes late. When he arrived he was very nice and professional. He was knowledgable, explained the process and went to work on the problem. I was very happy with Triangle Wildlife Removal and will use them to remove the bats on the other side of the roof soffit.

Good service, came out promptly and while I was flexible with appointment time, we kept me posted of any changes in the time of arrival. They removed the nest and sprayed so that the hornets would not come back. Excellent communication in every respect before and after the job. Used them a couple of years back to relocate bats who had set home in my attic, they did a great job and yesterday again. Definitely recommend, and I will give them my business again if needed.

CH came out to our home and did a inspection of our attic for bat infestation - he found bats in our attic. He located the area where they were coming in and placed a netting over the vent so the bats could go but not get back in. CH returned about one week later and checked to be certain the bats were gone - they were - he removed the temporary netting and placed a metal screen over our vent to keep the bats out of our attic for good. He also placed a metal guard over our chimney insert to prevent squirrels, bats, birds from getting between our chimney and insert. He was extremely polite, very helpful, not pushy, he would not accept payment until the job was completed. I called on Monday and they arrived the next day. They were going to complete the job the following Friday but we had a terrible wind/rain storm and we had to reschedule for the following Tuesday.

I set up an appointment over the phone. Russ arrived on time, met me, surveyed the property, and made specific suggestions to clear brush and other areas that would make snakes comfortable. He also pointed out areas around our house and at the edges of our lot that snakes would find inviting. While we found no snakes on the property, he gave me a good idea of how to keep them away if possible. The service call was well worth the expense, and from there we hired a landscaper to do the work.
Description of Work: One of our dogs was bitten by a copperhead that was in our yard. We asked Russ to come out, see if he could find the snake(s), and recommend ways to keep them away.

Last week i noticed the smell of urine in my house. I checked under my home in the crawl space and came across an odor of urine and some kind of animals droppings. I took a picture, sent it to Triangle Wildlife Removal and they identified it as snake droppings. Triangle Wildlife Removal dispatched a young man named "C.H." to come out to my home. CH went through the entire crawl space. He reported no other signs of the snake, the droppings i found were the only droppings down there, no snake skins, no mice or rat droppings. CH felt if the snake had been there he wasn't there long and has probably since exited the crawlspace for lack of food. (my crawlspace is fully encapsulated and i keep mice and rat poison out for any critters that might try to set up residence) After inspecting the outside of the house it was determined the entry point was where the air conditioning lines ran through the crawlspace wall. Apparently, the silicone caulking around the air conditioning lines gave out - creating an entryway most likely used by the snake. CH and i filled the gaps around the air conditioning lines with copper mesh and topped it off with a fresh layer of silicone. I am satisfied the problem is resolved. Awesome. As a quick side note, i also used Triangle Pest Control a couple of years ago (before i was a member of Angie's List) to remove a bat from my attic. They were awesome then also.

I was very satisfied with the knowledge, demeanor and professionalism of the serviceman. I had them come out after the previous company I hired told me that the noises in the attic and insulation in my bathroom were from squirrels. He said there were no squirrels in my attic which is what I had suspected. He answered all my questions thoroughly and took care of the holes under my patio door. I rarely see any insects in my house now and I have not had any more mice.
Description of Work: He came out and checked the attic and the outside of the house for entry points for mice and squirrels in particular. He looked under my patio door at my request and found 2 holes which were never puttied where bugs at the least have been coming into the house.

We had a bad odor in the house that we suspected was from a dead possum. They responded within 2 hours and had the possum removed within a few minutes. Price seemed a bit high for the amount of time involved, but it was what I was told over the phone. It was worth it not to have to do it myself.

Triangle Wildlife Removal & Pest Control Inc were efficient, they were very nice over the phone and very polite and I spoke to Chad over the phone who sent out a young man to put out a trap. The young man explained everything that was going on and told me more about squirrels than I ever wanted me to know and he has been coming out everyday to check the trap and make sure that everything is okay. He did catch a couple of squirrels and took those out and they have been very efficient and very polite. They were very punctual and he came out exactly when he said he would be. They were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing and what they were talking about. I was impressed.

The good: friendly, knowledgable, very quick to respond, tried hard to address situation, seemed to care about not harming the animals; screened over all the attic vent gables to prevent re-entry. The not-so-good: they did trap some squirrels, but the squirrels escaped their traps, so not very helpful there. One squirrel died in the wall of a guest bedroom (after they sealed off the attic) and they were not able to locate it - told me they would have to rip out the whole wall or take down the ceiling to find it, so I should just "let nature run its course" and it should smell fine in a few weeks. Well, 2 months later and the room still stinks. True it was my choice not to rip out the wall/ceiling, but I was a bit annoyed the smell popped up a week after they sealed stuff off. Price - I thought they were expensive. They charge a reasonable fee for each visit plus $50 per animal trapped, so I guess it was good for me that the squirrels escaped their traps! They charged $75 per gable to screen them off - not an outrageous price, but my regular contractor would have charged me $75 to do all three. Unfortunately time was of the essence, so I couldn't wait to schedule my guy. Overall, I would say they are friendly, knowledgable, etc. I would use them again in a crisis, but I would prefer to have my regular guy do any repairs. My advice would be to have them remove the vermin and have a regular handyman/contractor do any repairs at a better price.

Over the phone, I was given an approximation of how much it would cost with a game plan. Triangle Wildlife was punctual and I was late but they waited for me--thank you!!. For several years, we could not find someone who would tackle wasps in the chimney so we never used our fireplace for 8 years!!! Triangle Wildlife seemed to solve the problem with ease!!! and and nearly at the cost I was expecting. Highly recommend this company.

I was very pleased; they were very nice, knew from the tracks and nest in the attic exactly what kind of animal it was, and they took care of the problem quickly and humanely. They told me that they relocate the animals and release them into the wild, which is very important to me. It's been a couple of months since they came out and I am still squirrel-free. I'll definitely call Triangle Wildlife Removal again if I have any more critter problems.
Description of Work: They came out and took a look in my attic, where I had heard something walking and skittering about The guy (please forgive my memory, but I don't remember his name) set a trap, which caught the squirrel within a couple hours after he left, then came back the next day to pick up the trap and board up the hole that let through the critter.

Description of Work: Very good experience, they came out within a day, inspected my attic and the outside, and set a trap. Service was courteous and professional, and they provided all the information I needed (i.e. they release the animals away from the city in the wild, the guy had a caring attitude towards the animals). We discovered we had a small colony of bats near the chimney in our attic. Apparently they had entered through small openings created by deteriorated trim work aroung the chimney and gable end vent. We called Triangle Wildlife Removal and arranged for them to provide an inspection and estimate to remove the bats. The company's response was prompt and courteous throughout the entire process of assessing the location and size of the colony, providing an estimate of the costs, advising us of applicable laws and regulations regarding bat removal, and finally eliminating the infestation, including waste removal and sanitizing. The company was very helpful in providing advice as to identifying and properly sealing all possible points of entry to prevent reinfestation. The company was flexible in agreeing that we could use a separate contractor of our choice to perform the repairs needed to seal the openings and screen the gable vent, while indicating they would provide that service if we so desired. The infestation was completely eliminated and the cost was reasonable. The company owner personally responded to phone calls and all personnel we dealt with were knowledgable, professional and courteous. We would recommend this company to anyone needing help in removing bat infestations.
Description of Work: Performed inspection to locate and assess bat infestation in attic, locate possible points of entry that had to be closed, provided advice regarding applicable laws and regulations regarding bat removal, installed one way traps to allow bats to exit but not return to their roosting site in the attic. Verified bats were eliminated, removed waste and sanitized infestation area.

We heard a squirrel in our chimney and called Triangle Wildlife. We had used Tad Bassett's services a couple of times several years ago. We had lost his contact information and found him through Angie's list. One of his staff came to our home the same day we called. As it turned out, the squirrel escaped back through the chimney. The screening had come loose after 10 years or so and he reattached it. He worked quickly, professionally, and as clean as possible given that he had to actually sit inside the fireplace to check up the chimney. (Our chimney has a brick wagon wheel cap on it so he couldn't sight down the chimney.)
Description of Work: Called for animal removal. Animal had escaped in the meantime but chimney screening needed reattaching.

Wonderfully. They let me know that it was possible not all of the yellow jackets would be killed immediately due to some being out before returning to the colony. However, I didn't see any the following day and they have been gone since then-- even with a nasty thunderstorm the next day.
Description of Work: I had a nest of yellow jackets right in the front of my front door. It looked like a subway station in NYC with all of the yellow jackets going in and out. I waited a little too late and contacted Triangle Wildlife Removal (I had used them a few years ago to remove a possum from a country home that I had lived in who had somehow managed to get inside my walls) and they came out the very next day.
