Description of Work: Replaced fixed shelves in a cabinet with Shelf Genie shelves. I'm very happy with the shelves - now I just pull out a shelf to find things! The company was very professional and very carefully measured everything. I can't exactly remember when I had it done, but guessing about 2 years ago, and can't remember how much it was. Quality product, though!

Description of Work: Measured, built and installed sliding drawers in our cabinets. The woman that had initial contact explained all options and features without trying to have us upgrade our order to a more expensive option. She was very informative and very professional. The time to creat the drawers was very accurate and they kept us informed. The installation guys were on time, very precise in what they were doing and cleaned up after themselves. The cabinets work as advertised and we would use them again for any other projects. They are proof in the old saying "You get what you pay for". We recommend them without reservations. |

+ 1 moreThe idea to help improve the efficiency of the storage in the kitchen interested me. The estimator was very professional and gave me a estimate on the spot. Sticker shock is the only way I can describe the estimate. Sure there were many shelves. But a estimate of $8000 was over the top. My expectation was that the whole thing should not be more than $2,000. Therefore my conclusion that the cost benefit just did not meet my expectations. Maybe someone with deeper pockets would be interested but there are other options out there. Maybe replace all the cabinets in the Kitchen.

Joe, their installer, was very courteous, prompt in returning calls, and did a good job on the installation. I love having the shelves. No more pot avalanches; my pans are neatly organized and quickly reachable; even the plastic storage containers are organized. I very much appreciated they were willing to warehouse the shelving for a few weeks until my new kitchen counter tops had been installed. That made things much easier for me. Thanks for your flexibility and for a great product.

+ 0 moreThis was an easy company to work with. No quibbling about making changes that reduced cost. The installer was on time, neat, and willing to make changes after install was complete when we wanted a shelf raised so the shelf below could hold taller bottles. If we decide to do the bathroom I would call them again. The product appears to be very well made and should be for the price.
Description of Work: Looked at kitchen cabinets, asked what we wanted, gave suggestions, gave a quote. We decided not to do one area and they adjusted the price. We accepted quote and they sent installer to measure again and ordered product. A few weeks later the installer made and appointment and installed sliding shelves.

+ -1 moreOverall it went great. Initially, a sales women comes out with catlogs and pictures. She listens to what you want to do. I thought she was really helpful and not pushy at all. She sends out the carpenter to re-measure what she measured. All the glide-outs are custom made. So the carpenter comes back in 4-6 weeks to install the glide outs. He was also great. He goes right to work. I love the results!!
Description of Work: We had our island in the kitchen worked on. We had a glide out installed for a garbage can on one side--a third of the space. In the other two thirds of the space, a half shelf was removed and a full shelf put in. We also had 4 glide outs put in another cabinet.

+ 0 moreEverything went like clock work. No delays, no problems. Wonderful job. The woman who measured and explained the products available was very knowledgeable and helpful. The young man who installed the drawers was very talented. You can't tell where the center pieces were removed to provide more space for full drawers in the entire space. The drawers are perfectly level and slide in and out with no problems. They aren't cheap in price but they're not cheap in quality either. There are 3 choices of product. We purchased the middle level. Each drawer can hold 100 lbs. and there is a life-time warranty. To be honest, we thought we paid a lot of money for these but this is the best home improvement we've done and we've done several this year! These shelves make our lives easier every day. Every time we need something from the kitchen, it is at our finger tips. No more getting down on our hands and knees or bending over to have access to anything in the cabinet. Also, everything is organized and it's very easy to find what we need. We absolutely LOVE them!
Description of Work: Five, double drawer shelves and a divided shelf were installed in our lower kitchen cabinets and in the master bathroom. Also, a lazy-susan was installed in the top kitchen corner cabinet and a divider was installed in the cabinets above the microwave.
