We were very pleased with the end result and believe that the drawers will definitely add value to our home as well as making life a lot easier for my wife. As we age it becomes much harder to bend over and fish out a particular pan or pot. As a whim we decided to look into sliding drawers. Linda, the senior designer, sat down with us, discussed our problems and needs, and then showed us how they could help. Once we decided what we wanted, their installer Joe came out and measured the cabinets and discussed with my wife what she wanted in each drawer so they could be customized for that use. After several months, during which time the drawers were being made, Joe came out and did the installation. Everything fit perfectly. The drawers are expensive and that initially surprised me, but the fact that they are extremely high quality materials and that they are custom made for our cabinets made them worth the investment.

Everything went as planned. Good quality drawers. Only price comparison was against a trusted handyman to install wire sliding drawers. The wood custom drawers were slightly over twice the price of installed metal drawers but we went with the custom size wood drawers.

They installed sliding shelves in almost every cabinet in our kitchen. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Carpenter was great to work with. We had 2 times where shelves had problems and the carpenter quickly came back and fixed, even more than a year after installation. They have lifetime warranties.

Great. Did not take long at all to install. The installer was very neat.

Some of the work was not as good as it should have been, but other than that I think they are very good.

We have enjoyed our ShelfGenie features for 2 and a half years now, and I truly believe this is something I couldn't do without. We created so much extra storage capability in our kitchen with just a few simple changes and additions. My husband was skeptical when he saw the price, but now he agrees it was a great investment. This is high-quality stuff that you can't get from a pre-fab solution from the big-box stores. Everything is working the same as it did the day of installation. The glides on the drawers are wonderful. The full-open doors (where they take out the center divider of cabinet doors so it's one big opening) is a great help with access. And the new-found space under the cooktop with the drawer is our main storage spot for cooking tools. They provided expert advice, were not pushy at all, and truly wanted to service our needs with a quality solution that respects our budget. All work was done on-time, professionally, and with flawless installation. I would not hesitate to recommend ShelfGenie to anyone looking to improve the functionality of their kitchen, bath, or any other cabinet storage space.

It turned out great and it worked out great. There was no delay and they came out right away. The service guy was really helpful. I had a weird situation, and he came up with a good solution.

We had a good experience overall with ShelfGenie and are happy with their work. As others have noted, the shelves are well made--sturdy and mounted on rails that allow them to glide easily. They hold a lot of weight: we store four cast-iron skillets at the front of one of ours for easy access, with other pots and sauce pan in the back, and there seems to be no strain on the shelf or gliders . The shelves are a bit pricey, and I'm not sure we would have purchased ours without the Big Deal offered by Angie's List. ($199 for $500 worth of shelving). For that reason, we limited our purchase to two shelves for the cabinet we most heavily use. I wasn't at home when they came out to give estimates (my wife says the consultant gave a pretty strong sales pitch for a $3000 package that included shelves in every cabinet), but Joe, who installed the shelves weeks later, was very professional and did his work quietly and efficiently. We are very pleased with our shelves.

The quality of the service and units were first rate, but the cost, even net of the $300 Angie's List Big Deal discount, seemed very high for the number of units we had installed. The total cost quoted for 11 mid-range units was $3,600. This is a luxury item that's built to high standards with a lifetime guaranty that will meet the standards of the most discerning buyer. It just comes at a price for which you'll need to set your expectations accordingly. For us, we'll be looking for online suppliers that we can self-install.

They did everything perfectly and this guy cleans up. You dont even know he has been in the house and he knows what he is doing. He is in an out in a reasonable amount of time. He is very efficient and very clean and respectful of the house.

Their service is wonderful. I do not have any dislikes about their service. It was the same guy that came after I moved into my house 9 years ago. I had come in and put drawers in my pantry instead of just having shelves so it would give me more room and it was same guy the same employee who did it 9 years ago. He was just very good, very professional. With two more cabinets I will eventually get done. Its just easy not to have to get down on your knees to find something at the back of a cabinet. They have that drawer you just pull it out and everything right there.

Everything went perfectly. Joe, the installer called to say the shelves were in and installed them the next day. He did a superb job of figuring just where each shelf would go based on my particulars. The shelves are beautiful and I can now actually find things in my pantry cabinet! Perfect! I would highly recommend this company.

Professional approach. Neat. Installed as promised. I started with an Angie's List deal, but there was considerable additional expense.

Excellent company. Dan took my order, very professional and helpful regarding where to place shelving. Joe did all the measurements and then installed the shelves. Joe did an wonderful job installing all the shelves and made sure everything was perfect and done to my satisfaction. He left the kitchen spotless. Would recommend them and use them again.

I had purchased a big deal and it turned out well. The quality was really good. They were a little expensive.

It went great. They arrived when they said they would and were done in no time. They left my kitchen clean and tidy. Very professional! They are not cheap cabinet upgrades, but they are really well built and do exactly what they said they would. The pull outs are so smooth and they hold a great deal of weight - problem free!!!

Even with the discount it was still expensive, but had found no other solution. The work was done on schedule and the shelves work beautifully.

They were prompt, quick to schedule, provided good information, brainstormed solutions to our kitchen problems. The guy who did the measurements was also nice. Quick turn around to install, given it is a custom product. Install was quick and nice. All good people. The product is expensive, but so worth it. Our kitchen is so much more functional now. They even made use of the odd spaces we hadn't even bothered to consider.

The job went perfectly! The installer, Joe, was very nice and did an excellent job installing the pull-out shelves. In the beginning, when Joe came to take the final measurements before the order was placed, he noticed that two shelves that were supposed to be 5" high would be too high in one of the hidden corners, so he switched those to 2.5" high shelves. He also did some problem solving while installing a couple of shelves. He also cut down sides of two of the 5" shelves in another hidden corner so that I could reach things better. Joe saw that problem right away. Joe is an excellent craftsman and you would never know that the two sides that he cut down hadn't arrived that way. These shelves are not inexpensive, but they are worth every penny! Also, since I had paid for the shelves in advance and 5" shelves cost more than 2.5" shelves, I had overpaid; I brought that to the attention of Andy Pittman, one of the owners, and he immediately sent me a check for the difference. All in all, it was a pleasure to deal with Shelf Genie.

It was great and he came on time. The workmanship was beautiful. They did a good job and I am happy with it all. The scheduling was perfect and I had no problems at all. They were very accommodating. They got the job done in several hours. The cleanup was perfect.

The shelving has made a huge difference with regard to organization and maximizing space for storage. The glide outs continue to work smoothly and look great. Andy Pittman was helpful in thinking through options that would work in my kitchen for my needs. He explained the options, pros and cons of higher and lower cost options, without pressure to go for the highest cost option but rather taking into account things like how long I planned to stay in the house. I went with the more expensive option but have not regretted that choice. The fact that the shelves are custom built for each job was a definite plus for my kitchen and especially for maximizing the usefulness of the small pantry space.

They were very responsive, thorough in answering questions and demonstrating value of the product. The installation was quick and the drawers are very high quality and well performing. It is not cheap but the product is high quality. I'm finding that I use the stuff in my pantry much more effectively because I can actually see what is there.
