They were very nice, polite, hard working guys. It took a lot longer than they thought, but they kept a great attitude throughout. The inspection failed (the long length of pipe required a bigger circumference than installed) but they stood by their work and corrected the problem. Only real complaint was that one guy put the toilet plunger on my kitchen counter when he went to install the garbage disposal.

They showed up on time, dug up the sewer pipe and replaced it with a new one in about 3 hours. The sewer pipe needing replacing was directly under our planting beds, and they were able to dig the hole without damaging our larger bushes, so I was very thankful. (I had removed the plants directly over the pipe before they arrived, and was able to replant everything the same day.)

Arrived promptly, installed the new unit and cleaned the area before they left. Would use again.

The work was excellent and much more reasonable than the "Franchise Plumbing Services" that tried to "upsell" other services. I would definitely use Schwartz Plumbing again.

Schwartz Plumbing and its service technician, Kevin Johnson, handled the situation in outstanding fashion. On Sunday afternoon, our Eternal Hybrid Water Heater stop working and was leaking water heavily. It was purchased from Schwartz Plumbing 2-1/2 years agp. After turning the hot water off, I telephoned Schwartz plumbing. Although it was late Easter Sunday afternoon, Schwartz call back in a few minutes and offered to have a technician at our home in one hour. Since we were going out, we requested the service be scheduled the first thing the following monrning. Mr. Johnson arrived early on Monday morning (ahead of time). He determined that a manufacturer's defective part was the cause of the the malfunction. However, he also found that the water leak had damaged the heating elements. Kevin left and promplty returned with an entirely new unit. It was quckly installed and our hot water was returned the same morning. Since the manufacturer and Schwartz had provided a long term warranty for the water heater, there was no charge for the service or the new unit. Kevin Johnson also found that the electrical connection to the unit was not working properly. He made a arrangements for an electrician to arrive a few hours later to replace the GFI electric sockets. Kevin was most courteous, professional and knowledgable. He quickly solved our problem and clearly explained everything. Kevin is an outstanding techncian. He is very friendly and eager to answer all questions. We recommend the service of Schwartz plumbing and its technician, Kevin Johnson, very highly. We have used the services of Schwartz many times over the past few years. At all times, the serivce, products and technicians have always be outstanding.

I called in the morning for service and was informed of available times. I selected a time after my normal work hours. After the scheduled window had passed, I contacted the company (via their answering service). A plumber arrived shortly later. He was very professional and couteous.

Prompt. courteous and price was well within other estimates we got.

He came within an hour of being called on a Saturday afternoon. He gave us options for clearing the drain and told us the cost of each. He was very helpful and pleasant. I thought the $50 extra charge for the Saturday call was high.

Work was professional and proceeded with caution. The technician decided not to open up a wall to locate the leak until grout and caulking is eliminated a a potential source.

They were excellent. They did quality work. They did the job I asked for and cleaned it up very well. I have not had problems with the toilet since. They were medium on price. They were very professional. I would use them again. They were great people. I had a lot of experience with them this last year.

Cheaper than the big plumbing chain, and did what i expected.

The process of replacing our old water heater tank with a new tankless water heater was easy. They came in and gave us a quote, and when we decided to go with them, they came right away. The quote was spot on and they did not try to sell us a bigger unit than we needed. The plumber was patient in answering all our questions and said we could call at any time if we had additional questions.

Too expensive for me for very small jobs. Prices seem very reasonable for larger jobs. The quality and service was great in both cases.

Overall very satisfied. Was able to get an appointment the day I called. It was the Tuesday before thanksgiving so this was something we needed corrected quickly. The symptom was a link under the sink. I checked the night before and suspected the garbage disposal. The plumber also inpected and found the 11 year-old garbage disposal rusted through. I might have saved $30-$50 if I bought the disposal myself and had them install it.(Hence the slight knock on pricing) But given the timing I was ok spending the extra money to avoid the headache.

Called yesterday and technician came this morning. Work performed professionally even though a little pricey.

I will not be calling Schwartz in the future. Update 12/06/2012: This is an update to my earlier review submitted earlier today. Mr. Stuart Schwartz returned my call in a timely manner. However, he got belligerent with me, interrupting me several times. He told me his overhead was high, therefore his prices are high. There was no resolution of the pricing of the job, and we ended the call. I then was going to put the items back under the kitchen sink when I noticed the bottom of the cabinet was wet under the faucet. I called Schwartz, asked to talk to Stuart, and reported this. He replied that Kevin would be out soon to remedy the situation. The receptionist called me soon after to let me know Kevin was on his way. He then (hopefully) fixed the problem. Which, incidentally, had not existed before his earlier visit. Kevin returned my $285.00 check; but said Stuart had said there's no guarantee on their work, now that I have my money back. So there it is. A day of frustration, and a lesson learned: Don't call Schwartz again!

The Schwartz team did a nice job in a difficult situation where space was limited and the project included much more work and need for creativity than a typical water heater replacement. The end result was a major enhancement to our home. The primary installer is a very skilled crafts person who really tries to accommodate the customer.

This morning, two days later, the problem occurred again, but much worse. I called Schwartz twice, each time getting their answering service, briefly describing the problem, and requesting an urgent callback. We did what we could do to lessen the damages, but my carpets are soaked, water has poured into my basement, and it's afternoon, but still no callback from Schwartz. Update: Schwartz employee Ross did an outstanding job. Unfortunately, the recurrence caused cupping damage to my hardwood floors.

It was perfect. I’ve recommended them to all my neighbors.

Called office for appointment with no problem encountered. Plumber arrived on time and was very friendly. Analyzed the problem quickly and presented options. Had the parts needed on his truck. Worked quickly and cleaned up the work area.

Our sink drain line is long (40') and over the years, grease accumulated in the pipe. Pipe was over 50% clogged its entire length. They attempted to unclog it unsuccessfully, because ther was so much grease, it couldn't be dragged or sprayed out. We agreed to have the pipe replaced and decided it would be best to replace it all the way to the main drain to the septic. They forgave payment for the original attempt and came back to replace the span of drain pipe. The work was done successfully with minimal mess. With 60' of pipe filled with grease to cut out and get outside, it could have been a real mess. We were pleased with the work, the people, and their professionalism.

Service was on time and accurate. This the second time that they've provided plumbing services, we will definitely continue to use their services.
