ROSS TAIT

Ross is great and affordable! We have a 4500 sq foot house that is very outdated. His quote beat the next quote by $2000 to do the scope of work we had done. In our large bonus room, he removed thick grasscloth wallpaper, patched the walls and scraped and painted the popcorn ceiling. Down our hallway, he also removed wallpaper and scraped the popcorn. He did our two-story foyer (we painted over the wallpaper in this area as it was non-textured and adhered well) and the kids' bath. The kids' bath was one we had re-done ourselves and the wallpaper removal had damaged the walls - he skimcoated the walls to even out our mistakes and re-painted. All of these areas had the ceilings scraped and painted as well. It took him 5 days (he had another helper) to do these large areas. When I realized our bonus room paint color was not what I had hoped, he came back the next week and re-painted it for $250 more (he initially thought it would take longer and had quoted us $400 to re-paint but was honest when he finished quicker than expected and adjusted the price down). Clean up was done really well, especially considering how messy all of this work is! Highly recommend and we will use him again!

He was knowledgeable. He was a nice guy and he did a great job. He communicated well and was very flexible. I liked his work all around. I would hire him again and would also recommend him.

Ross did a great job with the project and we were very happy with the result. They showed up on time everyday as expected and whenever they were running late he would call and let us know. Ross covered all the furniture / floors and managed to contain the dust, despite having to patch and sand the ceilings. When he was done he vacuumed both the bonus room and the stairs (that were carpet). All of the painting looks great and it was a very positive experience. We would definitely recommend Ross and will be using them for some future work.

Work quality was good. He was very punctual, returned calls quickly, and came out within a few days of being asked to quote the work. He showed up when promised, and took care to drape all furniture and cabinets to during the interior work. I was pleased with the results.

Ross was very professional. He showed up when he was scheduled to and called if he was running a few minutes behind. He offered to come back after the work was complete to touch up any areas (which he did). Ross is a very energetic and conscientious worker. Areas were cleaned and straightened after each day. Furniture was carefully moved and protected from paint. Work was completed in a very reasonable amount of time. We also felt very comfortable with Ross and his staff in the house when we weren't around. We plan to have Ross return when we are ready to have the exterior of our house painted.

It looks great! Ross is a true professional painter who works efficiently, neatly, and is a great problem solver. He is reliable and his charges are among the fairest we have encountered. Over the past three years we have hired Ross whenever we had painting projects, whether house interiors or to power wash and paint the deck. We have lived in many places and have hired many painters and I must add that Ross is simply the best!

Ross did a great job. I used multiple colors through the house. He was punctual, professional and thorough throughout the process. He was very easy to communicate with and he finished much quicker than I had anticipated. I am very satisfied with the result and I would definitely hire him again.

I thought that he was excellent. I would tell others that he is does good work and he is dependable.

My wife and I stripped the wallpaper off the walls in a bedroom. In the process, the underlying drywall was damaged in a few places. Ross can in and prepared the walls and painted them. After he was done, the paint bubbled up in some of the areas that were damaged prior to painting. Ross can back right away, explained why it happened, and fixed it. He offered to do it free of charge even though it was on the damaged areas, but I insisted that he take payment for it. It has been a year now, and the walls still look great. No further problems. We will use him again.

Ross has done painting for us before and, as always, he showed up on time, was professional and considerate throughout the project, and performed excellent skilled work. We were extremely pleased and will definitely use him again for future painting jobs.

Ross returned my call and came out the next day for an estimate. He was considerably lower than the other 3 estimates I obtained. He was very precise about what he would do, what the finished project would look like, and gave a break down of costs by room. Painters arrived each morning EXACTLY on time. They were all extremely polite and hardworking.The areas were cleaned and the materials were stored at the end of the day, out of the way The painters moved all the furniture and covered it and the floors for each room. They even cleaned and vaccumed the carpet and baseboards before they replaced the furniture!!! The house looks great! I plan on having the exterior of the house painted next year, and Ross Tait and crew are my first choice.

Ross is always great. Does superior work, on the job himself, supervises his workers well, deals with any issues that come up in a timely and professional manner. We've used Ross before for interior job and based on that prior experience decided to hire him for the first full exterior painting our 4000 sq ft home has had in 17 years. Ross did not disappoint, and I will call him first for any future work.

Ross had to schedule around hardwood floor installation and refinishing and carpet installation. He was very cooperative in scheduling around the other work being done. He and his crew were always on time and cleaned up after themselves. He was very cooperative in touching up areas damaged by the carpet and hardwood installers. He made sure his quality was up to our standards or he redid the work (a couple of exterior doors) at no charge. The extra painters he brought in all spoke english and were pleasant to work with. I would absolutely use him again and recommend him.

He did not use drop cloths. He told me he would not get paint on my belongings, but I am still finding little drops here and there.

Ross was absolutely wonderful to work with! He was punctual and professional for both the quote and the work. Ross and his crew did an excellent job, and I would him again in a heartbeat. The cracks and seams were repaired beautifully, and the paint job looks perfect. Ross also went above and beyond the expected work. He gave me some painting tips, and he noticed and discussed issues outside the areas he was to paint. He taped and fixed some cracks that were outside the areas he was working in, he changed a lightbulb for me, and he fixed a window that had some water damage. If you need a painter, Ross is definitely the one to hire! I wish I could rate him an A+.

I can not say enough good things about Ross Tait! From the start he was responsive and called me back immediately. He promptly came and gave a very good estimate. The price was more than fair. He just completed the work today and it looks beautiful The foyer and hallway look perfect and so does the bathroom. Ross even helped me out when I accidently spilled a gallon of paint in front of my house. He is very professional and conscientious about his work. I will definitely use Mr. Tait again!

From the moment I called Ross, he was very responsive and professional. Got back to me right away, was able to come out for an estimate right away, promptly emailed the estimate, always responded to my emails and questions, and then when it came time for the actual work, he was fantastic. He did an excellent job with all rooms -- I am so pleased with the work -- and he was a pleasure to work with. He was on time every day, cleaned up really well, and checked in with me with any questions he had. In the end, there was one spot that needed one more coat, and he came back the very next morning to patch it -- no extra charge. His rates are very reasonable (and he stuck to them), and his work is extremely professional. Again, he is a really great person to work with, and I will definitely contact him for all of my painting needs. I highly recommend him!

As always, Ross did a great job! He always shows up on time and is very professional. Everything is cleaned and put back in place when he is done.

Ross and his helper arrived on Monday morning and finished on Wednesday late afternoon. The results of his work is nothing less than outstanding. We gave Ross key access to our home so he could come and go as needed and that worked out great. They completely cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day so we were not inconvenienced in any way. Ross was able strip and refinish our front door which had been previously wrecked by the previous home owner, we thought we would have to replace the door at significant cost, thanks to Ross that wasn't necessary. The front door now looks new and fantastic. Ross now has all my painting business going forward.
