I can't highly recommend this company enough. Christian and his crew showed up on time and were very professional. Work was completed as described in our original meeting when he provided me with the free estimate, and the clean up after was impeccable. He was very knowledgeable and helped us determine what trees we needed to watch out for in the future, as well as to watch out for the poison ivy climbing 30ft up one of our trees. I should mention he also trimmed up a tree that was not in the original agreement and made us a planter out of the cedar stump at no extra charge. We will definitely use this company again. They were such a pleasure to work with.

I found Mr. Etheridge to not only professional but happy at what he is doing. I would use him in any future Tree issues and would recommend to anyone else.

I bought an Angie's list 'deal' to get some tree work done. Big mistake .I wanted several trees removed and several others trimmed up.dead branches removed. The price I was quoted was 3 times more than several other tree services I had quotes from. It was cheapre in the end to go with another company and just lose the money I spent on the 'deal'. Be sure to evaluate the 'deals' companies offer - only buy those that give you a concrete 'we will do exactly this for $XXX". Don't by those that say '300 towards a job" - they just increase the quoted price to cover the discount you got with the 'deal'.

Will Etheridge from Raleigh Tree service was quick to respond and very pleasant to deal with. I decided that I needed a different level of service - tree trimming, rather than professional tree care.I recommend him highly for the latter.

The workers were very polite and very careful on my lawn to do no damage. The cleaned up well. In the process, they knocked over my neighbor’s mailbox which was rotting anyway. They replaced it free of charge the very next morning, better than it was before. The customer service was excellent. They got the job done in one full day.

They did what they said they would do. The price ended up being much more than I expected. It was a big deal but when we got through the deduction and what they actually charged us, it was already what we spent even if we didn't have the deal. It was a waste of time and money. It was not a deal when it was over. That was a mistake. Everything was right but it wasn't a deal.

The service was delayed due to the winter weather but once they arrived they did a terrific job. We had 3 trees in the front of the house that had never been trimmed and needed extensive clean up, We also had a tree on the side of the house and a tree in the rear of the house that would rub against the house during those windy nights. They cleaned up those trees plus took away a tree that fell down (died) that was also in the rear of the house. Their clean up after their work was also as though no one had ever been there!

After a few hiccups in communication an appointment was finally scheduled for an estimate, followed by completion of the work. It happened that I was not home when the work was done so I didn't see it in progress. What I do know is that when I got home all the work was done exactly as we agreed, and the clean-up was superb. I plan to use CCF in the future.

My experience with them was very good. They were prompt and everything. I was not overcharged, the quote that they gave me was what I was charged when the work was done. I would recommend anyone to use them. We had a high wind, so both my neighbors used them because we had a lot of clean up to do. I'm assuming that they were happy too. Seeing the work that they did for me, I think they got some additional business.

Raleigh Tree Service had the most amazing equipment. They had a very large truck with a very high boom that enabled them to get to all of the trees on my property from my driveway. They did not have to drive any heavy equipment into the yard. The stump grinders were remote controlled (operated by an individual employee) and worked flawlessly and relatively quietly. They also had a large chipper that worked well. I have watched other tree companies remove trees in my neighborhood but I have never seen another company be so well equipped. Anyone who has any qualms about having their yard torn up by equipment would do well to sign on with Raleigh Tree Service.

The quote visit was timely. The actual work was done by another company contracted by the original tree service. The work was done well, workers were pleasant and they cleaned up very nicely. The only reason for the B rating was that I was not informed a different company would be performing the work.

We have several mature trees on our lot, some of which are very close to our house. I wanted someone who (a) could give us sound advice and (b) do the work, and do it well. CCF definitely fit the bill. Christian (owner) advised removal of 3 trees: a dying maple in the front, a very large poplar that was far too close to the house and a diseased pine tree in the back. His estimate was the lower of the two we received, but more important, I liked him right off the bat. He has a small work crew and does the big tree climbing himself. Stump grinding was amazing; he normally goes below the soil surface by several inches. You can't even tell a tree was there. He also did some additional work that he didn't include in his quote at no extra charge. There were some scheduling issues and we weren't able to get the work done as soon as we wanted, but it was worth the wait. The crew showed up when we were told they would, and left things looking clean. They even helped our yard guy blow some of our leaves! Amazing!

The owner was exceptionally nice and provided information pertaining to liability and overall service. He further explained the cost associated with the requested service. The actual cost for the project was a bit surprising based upon the advertisement. I did not proceed with the tree service.

Shaped up several trees, took down some dead trees, and cleared the ground of large debris.

Will came out to give us an estimate on 11/16/2013 (I think that was the date). We had marked all the trees we wanted cut or pruned. He offered some advice on a couple other trees. He took notes and gave us the estimate. He also emailed us the quote later.

The crew performing the job was professional and performed the job as discussed. They also did a great job of cleaning up the debris left behind. Prior to job completion, the owner took time to ensure I was pleased with the job that was done. The only area that I wasn't completely happy with was the scheduling. I had to call more than once to find out when my job would take place.. Once the job was scheduled, everything went as planned. .

I think this provider is a very reputable and knowledgeable tree service. I was not in a position to do all of the work he quoted.

The owner was very nice and the prices were reasonable. He was also very honest. However, he was not able to do the job until next February and I could not use the deal.

There were some issues getting in touch to set up the visit. Some were my schedule and they had some family things that came up. |Overall, I'd give them a "B". They were very polite and apologetic for the delays.

Nice guy, but got lower estimate (like 30% lower) elsewhere.

It went ok. I was contacted by the owner and set up a meeting to discuss the project. He came around on a Saturday, we discussed the projects, he gave me a quote and told me the work could be carried out in Jan / Feb. He spoke about his overheads and encourage me to check competitive bids.

It was okay. They were punctual. When they finally got here, they did the work that they said they would. they were in and out quickly. I had no issues. We went above and beyond the "Big Deal". We waited a while after we purchased the "Big Deal" but they had told us front that they couldn't make it until late August but it was early September when they finally got here. I thought the price was a little high but it was acceptable.
