It was an excellent service. They were very professional, on time, and did a good job. Price was fair and I received a discount from them.

Very good job. 4 very large pine trees and a sweetgum tree were removed and the stumps ground. They forgot to grind the huge roots of a pine that are in the front lawn, but I am sure this was an oversight because it was dark by the time they finished. They did a great clean up job.

It didn’t. I signed a contract, agreeing to the price given by Will, the owner, when he came to our house. The work was to be done in about two weeks. More than two weeks passed. When I called, a recording said he has suspended operations in North Carolina to go work in Florida, helping with storm damaged. I have not checked in the last few days but a week or so ago, the same message was being used. A request to call me went unheeded. I thought I would go by what I thought was the office in Raleigh. Turns out the 106-4 “suite” is just a mailbox where he can pick up mail. No other office, etc. Photo of the box attached. Will seemed to be a nice guy, so I'm sorry this has not worked out.

I have used Raleigh Tree Service twice in the past 4 years and recommend them 100%. The company owner, Will, is extremely professional, responsive, smart, friendly, and is great to work with. He’s also not in a hurry to chop down trees unnecessarily, which I really appreciate. I’ve had a couple trees/giant shrubs I wasn’t sure were healthy or could look better, and he talked to me about what I could do to help them without taking them out, which I love! As far as the specific work I’ve had done, several years ago I had a massive tree in my backyard split in a storm and crash into another large tree, and Will and his crew removed that disaster. Then just this week Will and his crew removed a tree from my front yard and several trees from my next door neighbors’ yard. Again, everything went according to plan and my neighbors and I were really impressed with the work (in almost 100 degree heat, no less). Now another neighbor is about to have a bunch of work done with them, and I’m sure we will all continue to try and spread the word about this company!

It went well. There were some delays in scheduling on both our ends. Will is very professional and yard was cleaned up well.

Will performed the estimate quickly on Saturday and gave us estimates for both taking the top of the tree ($450 w a discount for other work done for a neighbor) and removing the tree (an additional $350). We did have them take the tree down. The work was done quickly and efficiently. They removed the branches and wood, leaving only the stump (they did not have the stump grinding equipment in the truck and admitted we could get this done pretty cheaply by someone else). The stump was cut very low though so we are in no hurry to get that work done. We are very pleased with their work and their responsiveness during the holiday weekend. While we did not receive other estimates, we selected Raleigh Tree Service since they were very responsive and helpful.

Raleigh Tree Service had been highly recommended by a friend. Will came by to give me an estimate and explained what would be involved in taking down the broken top of the tree which had snagged on an even taller tree and then cutting down the oak and stump grinding. I was impressed by his professionalism and commitment to safety. On the scheduled date, there was rain earlier than forecast which prevented him from bringing some of the equipment across my yard to get to the backyard. He did not want to tear up the lawn or leave ruts. I watched as he used his bucket lift to begin removing the snagged tree top and then climbed another tree in order to free the snag. All his calculations, ropes and other safety measures were right on target...the tree top landed exactly where he wanted, causing no damage. When I got home from work, I was amazed that there was no evidence (other than a small mound of mulch from the ground stump) that they had been there. Not a twig, limb, leaf...you can't ask for better than that! I give them my highest recommendation.

Raleigh Tree Service will be the only tree service we use in Raleigh and the one we recommend to our friends. We recently moved to Raleigh and purchased a new home with several very large pines and sweet gums that we wanted to remove to open the yard up and protect our home for the future. Will responded quickly to our request to quote our job. Will is knowledagble, professional and was very helpful in our decisions of which trees to remove and in explaining how he would do that. His quote was detailed, he made no effort to grow the job and made several reccomedations that saved us money. Once the work began he and his team were efficient and left our yard and driveway in perfect condition. We are very appreciative of Will and Raleigh Tree Service and can't recommend them highly enough.

They arrived on time and promptly set up their equipment. They used a crane to assist in the removal of trees, which reduced the impact on the yard. They had the trees cut down by noon and spent the rest of the day stump grinding and cleaning debris. I am very happy with the service and would definitely use them again in the future.

The process went very well. They showed up on the scheduled day and performed the work per the contract. We even added a couple of the trees to the request and they were able to quote and perform the additional work.

Very professional job! Will and his crew know what they are doing and they do it safely. We had a major rain event on the last day they were here, but they worked through the rain and finished on time. They had to remove my mailbox and post and a landscape light in order to move their equipment around. Everything was put back in place (even better than before). They left the yard very neat and clean. I can't say enough about Will and Raleigh Tree Service. He is easy to communicate with and always keeps you informed.

They were very professional, informative, and careful in their work. They took the time to fully explain the job and went above and beyond when it came to our landscape lighting and irrigation system. I highly recommend them.

Will used a compact aerial lift to access some tight places around my yard as well as ropes/pulley to get himself up into upper trees for select trimming, thereby doing no harm to remaining plantings. The crew was on site and hustling all day. Debris was cleaned up and my yard looked neat when they left. Raleigh Tree Service will be my first call when I need additional tree work done.

Used them before and everything was fine. This time, not even a return call.

My A/C died and after getting quotes for a new unit, the only place to put it was where we had a large "bush". I called numerous tree services listed in Angie's List to ask for advice and see if they would come out and provide me with a quote. No one thought my situation was worth their time and basically told me that. There was one exception - Raleigh Tree Service. Will was so very helpful to me. He suggested I send him a picture so he could see if he could help. He then came out to review the area later in the early evening. He and his crew came out early the next morning and did exactly what he said they'd do. They cleaned up so well that you'd hardly know they were there - other than the trees were gone... I have nothing but praise for Will and Raleigh Tree Service. Their customer service and work ethic is exemplary!!

Requested an estimate, and I liked to personal attention and willingness to visit on a weekend. We scheduled a date, and Will and his team arrived on time. They immediately went to work, preparing their tools and devices. They finished rather quickly, and cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend for future projects.

Extremely professional, I had several quotes from other companies and this was by far the most reasonable as well as the most thorough - in person. Will walked the property with us and assessed our needs, making suggestions along the way. He educated us on the make-up of the yard/trees and handled everything, he & his team actually left the yard looking better than how they found it! They cleaned up EVERYTHING and hauled it away, even a stack of branches we had cut ourselves! They are the best at what they do!

After I purchased the deal, they explained that they no longer cover my area. They agreed to come outside of their service area after checking with their boss. They were supposed to call me for scheduling, but I didn't hear back from them. After a couple months, I called them to find out what was going on with my Big Deal, and they explained that they had not been in the area and offered to reschedule. They said they would call me back once they were coming through my area. In the end I never did hear back form them.

When I met Cristian to get an estimate for the work (deal was $149 for $300 of work), he was very thorough reviewing the different plantings in the yard and assessing priority. He was very knowledgeable about the type of work needed and took the time to explain the work needed and pros/cons of certain work. I arranged to have additional work beyond the $300 level. Cristian and his crew arrived on the appointed date and time. The pruning work was excellent. The vine surrounding the pine tree was very difficult work and was expertly removed down to the root. All yard waste was removed from the property and the yard and curb were left very clean. I was very pleased with the work and would have CCF come again in the future!

It was a pleasure to work with Will Ethridge from the estimate to the completion of the job. He immediately mentioned the discount coupons when he came for the estimate. He sent us a contract and everything went as planned. Will and his crew did a wonderful job. They used special equipment so that they would not ruin our yard when they brought in the crane and heavy trucks. When they left, the only telltale sign of them being there were the ground stumps. They totally cleaned up the yard. They did a better job of grinding the stumps than anyone else who has taken down trees in our yard in that they didn't leave big holes in the ground. If I need a tree service again, I will immediately call Will. I guess my neighbor was impressed as he came over and asked Will to remove a large tree next to his driveway.

CCF removed several trees and pruned a bunch more; also removed stumps. Working with CCF was a pleasure from the initial visit to when they did the work. We had several estimates and CCF was very competitive with pricing and much more sharing with the options. Clearly more knowledgeable than the others we contacted. We will surely use them in the future and we give them an A+ referral.

The entire process from the estimate through completion of the work was outstanding. Will of Raleigh Tree came out and provided an estimate. Later that week, I decided that I wanted a bit more work done. We spoke on the phone but Will felt he needed to come back out and update the estimate so he was completely sure of the additional work I wanted. Once we reviewed everything, Will emailed the proposal and I signed the contract and got an approximate start date. The day prior to work, Will called to confirm that he could start the work. They arrived early the next morning and began the work. I live on a small cul-de-sac and the area was very tight for the trucks and the equipment. I was very pleased with the safety and general concern that Raleigh Tree displayed at all times for my neighbors, ensuring that the equipment was marked off with cones and that the street remained passable at all times. After work was underway, I decided I wanted to expand the scope slightly. Will agreed to the change with minimal impact to the cost of the job. We removed a section of a large tree that was overhanging from my neighbor's yard, (with their full consent) and that neighbor asked if he could have a small amount of firewood. Even though this slowed the job down slightly, Will agreed to cut up one of the smaller tress. The neighbor was very pleased. Once the work was complete, the yard was cleaned up and left much better than before the job started. Two of my neighbors remarked this AM of how clean Raleigh Tree left my yard and the street. Raleigh Tree was professional and courteous throughout the entire process.

They were unable to come to my home because I didn’t live in their service area.

Excellent service from Christian and his crew ---- from the initial contact to finish of job. Left my yard neat and clean. I'd use them again!
