They were prompt with the estimate. Eric told me up front they were busy and it would be a few weeks before they could come out and do the job. The came out on a Tuesday and did the leveling and framing. Hit a few snags with the foundation on the house and had to install a step in the patio, no problem. Also had to have a few old stumps removed. Eric's father in law contacted one of his people's and had it taken care of same day. They were going to pour on Thursday but had an equipment problem and came out on Friday. Things happen. No big deal. Overall the guys did a wonderful job. We love our new patio, or as the guys told my fiancé a regulation half basketball court. Thank you for everything!

It took them a while to get to me but the job done was excellent! My driveway looks fantastic.

Ron spent a lot of time with us explaining what our options were as to patching part of the concrete to save money or to totally replace the driveway and sidewalk. He was very patient with all of our questions and thoroughly explained the work that he would perform. His entire crew was very efficient and did an excellent job. They showed up when they were scheduled and completed the job on time. I would highly recommend them for any concrete job.

He was very punctual about coming here to give us the quotation even though he was sick when he came. He went out to his truck and gave us the estimate right there. The weather has been iffy and he was sick, but when he said he would be here at 8 o'clock for the work, he was here 8 o'clock and because the weather was iffy, he checked back with us to let us know what was going on and he even stopped before leaving to tell me what time they would be here the next day and what time they were going to pour. He was very communicative and his workers worked all day.

I contacted two contractors listed on Angie's List for this job. I was contacted first by R.J Barbare's and contacted two days later by the other contractor. I received both bids promptly and both bids were exactly the same price for the driveway. I went with R.J Barbare's partly because of the other reviews on Angie's List but more because the bid was much more concise with a drawing of the job, type of concrete that was going to be poured, and a their warranty was written out on the contract. We made arrangements for the pour and they arrived on time and did the work exactly as agreed and the quality was fantastic. I couldn't have been happier with R.J. Barbare's.

They did a really good job of matching the edging of the sidewalk. They were very professional as well and the price was very competitive!

I called Barbares Concrete for an estimate for replacing two failing sections of my concrete driveway. They were professional and efficient in providing the estimate. The estimate was right according to the other estimates I obtained. The work was done on time, efficiently, cleanly. I am very pleased with the result.

Ron provided excellent service at a reasonable price. He removed existing & poured a very large driveway (50 cubic yards). They put finishing touches like smooth edges

Barbares did a great job from start to finish. They were not the cheapest bid, but I had a gut feeling they were more professional. I have found you need to take in to consideration how professional the organization is: paying less something equals lots of hassle. There was no hassle what so ever. Did exactly what we wanted when and how they said they would.

Job well done. We contacted Mr Barbare 9/4/12 to help us replace our driveway that was at a bad angle for getting our 1988 Camero in the driveway. The bottom of the car scrapped on the peak of the driveway. We were originally going to replace only 2 pads of the driveway, but the price quoted was so good that we decided to have the whole driveway redone and our side walk. The job was done all in one day while we were at work. All clean up was completed in that time also. Mr. Barbare was very polite and professional. We would definately recommend him and his company.

We couldn't be happier with the installation. They were very careful to not harm the remainder of our grass around the patio and on the path they used through our fence. They worked clean and made sure our back yard wasn't full of left over dirt and concrete splatter. The job was also quick, only took them a half a day. Extending our patio was so much easier than trying to match it with the perfect furniture, who knew?! :)

R.J. is excellent, from estimate, communication, response, scheduling, work, and follow-up, A+++ These guys make concrete work look easy! His whole crew were professional and experienced. Took great care in making sure the job was done well on a rather difficult slope, adding a turnaround pad as requested, tapered nicely into the driveway, and even straightening the curve out of the driveway, at his own suggestion, which we agreed to before the job began. These guys are quick, neat, knowledgeable, and responsible. Involved two dump trucks and two concrete trucks, which all arrived according to schedule set up by R.J. We picked this company from 3 different quotes, and this company was very competitively priced for the job done. We are very pleased with all aspects of the job!

Outstanding results with hardly a bit of damage to the adjoining lawn and absolutely no damage to the adjacent driveway pad and walkway. Neighbors were thoroughly impressed and several asked for his contact information for jobs they intend to have done. I highly recommend Ron and his crew. He was professional, accurately described the job he could do, and delivered the work as agreed.

Ron knows the business very well and did an outstanding job. Eric worked with us every step of the way. There were some challenges with an inground water irrigation system. Eric and Ron worked with us to get the sprinkler system resolved. We were very happy with their work.

Called Ron Barbares to schedule an appointment for a quote to redo entire driveway. We were not in town when we talk to him, but he made a special trip to look at the driveway and then give us a quote over the phone. When we did get into town, we met and discussed possible options for just repairing the driveway as opposed to replacing all of it. We felt at this time we did not want to spend the money necessary for an entire new driveway. To replace the entire driveway would have been approximately $8,000. Ron was so helpful in working with us, to make the driveway look as good as possible without replacing it all. He even made a special trip to apply a special coating to the repairs so that the contract between the old and new sections would not be so obvious. Ron, and his crew, we very professional and did an outstanding job. We were amazed at their work ethic. Also, Ron's schedule to do the work was very full and we would have normally had to have waited another week or so for the work to be done. He knew we were only available that particular week to have the work done, and he rearranged his schedule to accommodate us. This was so thoughtful and considerate. We know when we are ready to replace the rest of the driveway we will be calling Ron again. He was a delight to work with, and the driveway looks great!!

Ron and his team did an excellent job on our repaving project. We had a cracked driveway compromised by tree roots and some serious drainage issues causing water to back up into garage. They were able to properly grade the property to alleviate the drainage, raise the front sidewalk to level, add an additional parking pad and new sidewalk to side of house. They were also able to add an 8X10 pad in the backyard at a moment's notice for a very reasonable price when we decided to build a storage shed after they had already estimated the project. The concrete work is exceptional and of high quality, so it will last probably past our lifetime! Ron's team was very professional and they really knew exactly what was needed to grade everything perfectly. We are the fourth house in our neighborhood this spring to engage Ron's company for concrete work, and I'm sure we won't be the last house. We had estimates from several other companies with A ratings on Angie's List, and R J Barbares was the lowest. We highly recommend Ron and his team for any concrete project!

Job went very well fomo quote to repair and cleanup. Crew had to leave after removing old broken section, but returned later that afternoon to pour and finish the job. Wasn't sure they would make it back before dark, but they did as they said when they left and completed the job in 1 day. Returned 72 hours later to remove barrier and finish cleanup.

They were great. We had gotten several estimates and their prices was very good. They were very professional and cleaned up very well after they finished.

They were able to do this job within a week of me accepting their estimate. They met all of my expectations and the price was very reasonable. Job well done.
