We had numerous contractors look at the issues we had with improper drainage and major cracks in our concrete in order to give their recommendations and solutions. Eric Bolay with Barbare's was the one with the correct solution. Our driveway and sidewalk were not sloped properly. Eric and his crew removed our damaged and severely cracked carport pad and driveway and poured a new drive, carport pad and sidewalk with the perfect slight slope so that the water now runs to a small catch basin. Since the job was done on 3/6/19, we have had heavy rain so are very happy that the work Barbare's did corrected the issue exactly as we needed it to. In addition, we liked the company so much that we decided to have an additional area poured as a parking pad. Eric and all of the crew were here on time and worked efficiently, professionally and cleaned up the area after completion. In two days we had all of the 6" old concrete carport pad, driveway and sidewalk removed, forms placed and new concrete poured the second day. Each person knew their role and worked tirelessly and cohesively, and did an excellent job! We are very pleased to say the least. Eric is the most knowledgeable, professional and punctual person we have dealt with. He goes the extra mile and his objective is quality work and customer satisfaction. It is refreshing to deal with someone that truly knows the business, meets the customer's needs and provides an excellent end result.

Parking pad went in quickly. Higher quality concrete and better overall specs the others we had quotes from.

He is prompt, responsive and takes the time to not only give you a complete estimate on what you requested, but also give you alternates. Their work was complete and the driveway looks wonderful! They showed up when they said they would, did the work and cleaned up completely afterward. Contacted two other Concrete companies but only heard back from one whose price was much higher than Barbare’s. Was very pleased with his work and he widened an area from the carport to the driveway at a minimum cost. We also had some tree roots in the front yard which he dug up at no additional cost. Could not have been more pleased with his work and crew. Was on time as promised and completed the driveway according to the contract. Was exceptionally pleased and would highly recommend R. J. These guys do quality work and show up when promised. The did have to schedule me 4-6 weeks out however made a point to call me in that window to let me know that I was still on the schedule. They leveled out the skid steer tracks and leveled everything out with some fill dirt. All I had to do was throw some grass seed down to finish it up. I would definitely recommend them again.

Punctual and professional. Debris was hauled away, site cleaned up afterwards. Driveway and sidewalk look fantastic! The quality and workmanship are apparent. Beforehand, Mr. Barbare drove us around the neighborhood to view other projects his company did. We also asked a few neighbors with recent driveway replacement for referrals. Barbare Concrete got high reviews, and deservedly so.

Barbares' price and scheduling were competitive and we are extremely pleased with the quality of work and product his company and crew provided. Every time we pull into our driveway or walk out to get the mail, we know we made the right decision. Others in the neighborhood had used and recommended Barbares, and we were able to see some of his previous jobs.

They did an excellent job. They came as scheduled, were careful with the surrounding stonework and vegetation, and completed the job on time. The driveway is much improved both structurally and aesthetically. I was very impressed when Mr. Barbares came to give an estimate for the job. He gave two estimates, since he thought that he could "save" a section of the driveway, and advised our taking the lower estimate.

It went great : The owner ,son and son in law and crews were top notch. The only complaint marketing 101 could be in order for the owner who needs to work on when talking with the one who writes the check.

WONDERFUL!!!!!!! Their work is outstanding. I can't say enough. He was wonderful to work with he listened to our needs and then explained how best to do the work. We had place where others wanted to put in french drain to take care of water to keep it from going in the garage, which is on an incline, which made the cost even more,. But he looked at the slope of the land and everything and figured out how to grade the driveway leading to the garage so that the water would flow across the drive and around the house into the existing drainage system. It is a huge amount of concrete work he told us at the time it was the largest residential one they had done. The driveway looked beautiful when they finished and still does. There are finishing touches such as sidewalk has the picture frame finish which adds a very nice touch to the finished product. We could not be happier with the work that was done. (I waited to do my review. I learned the hard way not to do it too quickly. Then I thought I waited too long, but I was looking at the work today and I need to give a review for this great work.) They were excellent! Since this was a smaller job, they had said they would try to catch it when they had a lull in or break between larger jobs. They called the day before to ask if we were available Monday, April 18; and we said absolutely. They arrived on time, worked well as a team, and the job was done and cleaned up by mid-afternoon. My brother, who used to build homes, was visiting and said they did a really good job.

Mr Barbares gave me a date to do the work at about 4 to 6 weeks. He contacted me at about 4 weeks saying that they could get to me in 2 days. The crew showed up at 8am and went to work breaking up the old slab. That was completed by 11:30am with all of the old concrete removed from the site. The truck with the new concrete showed up by noon and the new concrete was move up my driveway using a front-end loader and poured into the forms. They completed the surface brushing and grooving by about 4:30 and cleaned up the work site. They were gone before 5:00pm. All very professional..

Provider talked me through what was occurring. I even emailed him pictures and everything. He said repairs werent needed and gave me tips on how deal with the area in question. I really appreciated his honesty and the way he talked me through what was happening so I could understand it. He said it could be fixed with working on the landscaping and filling in the small hole that was there. The hole was only from settlement of the dirt underneath. He could have fleeced me. It's nice to find honest good people out there. If I ever truly need concrete work, you can bet I will use him.

Dealt with owner Ron Barbare who was professional and kind and gave me an estimate that I felt was fair. He doesn't normally take jobs this small but was willing to try to work me in his schedule. My driveway is 22 yrs. old and has lots of hairline cracks and other more significant cracks and chunks of concrete uprooted by trees. I had the trees cut down last fall. Ron proposed fixing just the ones that were really bad and would definitely get worse. He could have suggested doing a lot more repairs than were necessary at this time but he didn't and I really respect him for that. He had four guys come out to do the work and they worked extremely hard nonstop for six hours to do the repairs and and cleanup afterwards. The repairs turned out great and I am very pleased. It was a pleasure working with this company and I would definitely use them again for future needs.

Took awhile from estimate to get the job started as they were busy--but that is a good sign, I suppose. Job went quickly once started and they did a good job tearing up the old driveway without damaging surrounding areas or the existing drive that was not being replaced. New drive is perfect and matches up exactly to the existing areas.

Arrived at 8am as promised. had a crew of 5. Tree root was actually under small section of asphalt. Cut back asphalt and extracted root system. You could tell that crew was experienced. Will return in next two days to remove frame and will be able to drive over section in 4 days Workers and foreman worked very well together. We have a long driveway with a sharp turn. They used a Bob Cat to pry up concrete and remove it. They were extremely careful not to damage asphalt adjacent to new concrete area.
