Description of Work: Paved a driveway and custom colored embossed walkway. No one else would touch our project due to our location on a busy road, but they took that in stride. Their entire staff was very professional and friendly. A truly class operation.

Description of Work: I have a very steep driveway in Cary that has a bump in it causing most sedans to scrape going down the hill. Although it was not a problem for me since I drive an SUV, it has been the major contributing factor to my not being able to sell my house after 3 months on the market. I called several concrete companies for estimates. Only Rob Barbares actually followed through, assured me he could fix my problem and gave me a reasonable estimate to replace the driveway as well as the sidewalks to correct additional drainage problems I was having. He gave me an approximate date and stuck to it with no delays. His team was punctual, courteous and did an excellent job! He even went the extra mile to bring in topsoil to fill in my lawn near the edge of the new driveway. He also seeded it and put down straw. He and his team were fantastic! I highly recommend them!

Description of Work: We were totally pleased with the work. Eric was super to deal with . they tore out our driveway and replaced it. We were concerned about the drainage. They fixed that problem that existed with our old driveway and the new one drains off the rain perfectly.

Description of Work: When we contacted them, they informed us that they could not get to the job until the fall. I had just given up on another company who had done quality work for me in the past but continuously failed to meet their schedule. While we waited 6 months, the work, when completed, was outstanding. I would definitely employ them again but, if you do, be patient as they have a large client base - well worth the wait.

Description of Work: GREAT! I call Barbares and ask them for a quote. WIthin 2 days of the call we were set-up with the price and details of their service's. My wife and I were at work while the job was being done. When we got home from work we were AMAZED! Really even our friends came over and were impressed how much quality workmen ship they put in to our driveway. I got five quotes and not only were they the lowest (which two of them were over 10,000) We received the best workmen ship that I've seen in awhile. Bottom line if you want the job done right and at a more than fair price then call RJ Barbares concrete...I know I will! DKL

Description of Work: They put in a 11 x 14 concrete pad for a patio.

Description of Work: We called Barbares for an estimate on a concrete patio in the back of our house. Eric came and gave us a price on the patio. he informed us we needed a retaining wall so he suggested his friend "Rick." Eric told us he had worked with Rick many times however did not know the name of Rick's company. Eric informed us Rick would have to build the retaining wall first. i called Rick three times and finally called Eric explaining I could not get in touch with Rick, Rick finally showed at my house. Rick said Eric was wrong. the patio must be poured they'd wall built. Rick further stated he would have a written estimate to me in a couple of days. Called Eric and he said he and Rick would work together. Eric said he would being pouring in two weeks would get back with me. it has been seven days. no Eric nor Rick. two more estimates from other companies. other companies informed me Barbares had patio to close could ruin weathering proofing of house!
