Description of Work: I hired Progressive Service to fix a mistaken wiring job done by another company. The electrician not only fixed what I knew was wrong, but also found some sub-standard work and brought it up to proper standards, eliminating a potential fire hazard. The electrician was courteous, and was easy to understand and to communicate with.

Description of Work: Replace small 4 inch section of plastic/rubber tubbing totaling 8 minutes work time. Two people showed up. One gentleman was very rude to me after being caught in a lie. He then became nonresponsive or would pretend he didn't hear me. When I asked why he was ignoring me (had I done something to promote such behavior), he brushed it off and stated he had poor hearing. No excuse for watching someone speak to you and not responding. They did not clean up after themselves. They showed up half an hour early but were visibly upset that my husband wasn't here yet. My husband arrived three minutes after the scheduled appointment. Nothing I would want to experience again. :/

Description of Work: Progressive rewired a dimmer switch and fixed a problem. Rep was prompt, very professional, and offered some good advice in addition to solving the problem. We used an Angie's List special deal to get a service call and labor for just $99.

Description of Work: I had a loose toilet that I thought needed a new wax ring/reinstallation. I had a broken pipe in the concrete slab. The guys were great, they were able to drill out old pipe and install new without using a jackhammer and breaking up the entire floor. They saved me THOUSANDS!
