It went very well.

My home heating system was currently working fine but it was an old system (23 years) and I figured it was time to replace everything. I took bids from 4 companies listed on Angies List and all were aggressively pricing their service. About 1000 dollars separated the bid quotes but Tom, the salesman from Progressive, worked out the best deal in terms of price, energy efficiency and the higher quality of the Trane model he was going to install. Installation took place the following day with the install team of 3 showing up at 8:30 The lead installer was named Daryll and his work was excellent. All work was performed as advertised. The crew was professional and took the time to get the job done right and not rush the install. Clean-up was excellent as the attic area was cleaner than before. As a licensed General Contractor I have a high standard of quality I expect from my work crew and this team met my high standards. I would recommend Tom and the Progressive team to anyone looking for HVAC service.

Called Progressive on a Monday and was able to get an appointment for Tuesday morning. Received a courtesy phone call about 20 minutes before plumber arrived. The plumber ("CJ") arrived on time and was very personable and went right to work. Replace a section of the plumbing, as well as replacing an outside spigot handle knob. Discussed options of replacing polybutylene plumbing for entire house - either all at once or piecemeal as we renovate different rooms. Upon my request, CJ provided an estimate for replacing the plumbing and he made sure to point out various issues (such as the need to remove ceramic tile and patch drywall). Overall the price was not dirt cheap, but was also not unreasonable and I felt like I got my moneys worth and plan to use them again.

Our water stopped running late Friday night. Steve called us right back and offered to come out at 10pm that evening. We agreed that 8am Saturday morning would be better for both of us. He ran some quick checks and found that our well pump and pressure tank were both needing to be replaced. Steve and his coworker went to the store and came right back fixing the well in a short period of time. They were excellent with their customer service, they made us feel comfortable with the descisions that needed to be made and they were very professional. We would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

The company replied, when contacted, that they charged $59 to have someone come out and simply work up an estimate, adding that that fee was then reimbursed if Progressive then did the work. Charging a fee in order to generate a installation estimate is simply unacceptable. A home generator system costs thousands of dollars and typically requires an additional service contract. A homeowner would be stupid if he / she did not seek comparative /competitive estimates, and generally reputable companies are willing to send a sales representative out to assess the particulars and let the homeowner what the company has to offer. Progressive may be a good company, they may know their stuff, but for them to say that I would have to pay them in order to get their sales pitch led me to look elsewhere.

I had an appointment with someone and he came out when he said he would. He was efficient and knowledgeable. I will call him back soon to have him complete the work. It was a very good experience. I have also recommended him a couple of times.

We called first thing in the morning and were given an appointment for that afternoon. The technician was actually able to come earlier. In addition to the service, he tried to sell us on the maintenance plan.

Progressive promptly returned my call and scheduled a technician to meet us at the house between 3 & 4 p.m. on the 16th. The technician was punctual and appeared very knowledgeable. He was very helpful and patiently answered all of our questions. He inspected the HVAC and provided us with his findings; recommendations and cost for the repairs.

They were very prompt and professional. They were very clean and I was very satisfied with their service. It was an emergency call and they got exactly what I wanted and showed up when they said they would. They finished promptly and cleanly. I haven't used them for heating but I would recommend them for plumbing.

We had some flood damage and they made a difficult time a bit better

Progressive Plumbing is responsive. The guy came out and did the work.

They were great. I have used them in the past and their plumbers have always been top notch. They fixed my outdoor spicket that had not worked right for years. Every time I call they have someone out here immediately. Unlike some I have had, they are here and gone in an hour. They are prompt, clean up the job and get out.

I obtained estimates from several companies to install a tankless heater. Progressive was the only one that convinced me they could do the job in the manner I wanted and their price was competitive. The tech who estimated the job inadvertently misled me about some aspects of the product, which was a heater unfamiliar to me. (Otherwise I would rate the professionalism as an A.) To his and the company's credit, my inquiries were answered promptly and the misinformation was corrected. Furthermore, a supervisor came to the house on a Sunday morning to confirm the feasibility of the installation and to satisfy both of us that it would meet code. The actual installation required some small unexpected complications and the installing plumbers worked through a very long day to complete the installation. They began early and worked into the dark and cold of a winter night to finish the installation as promised in a single day, thus enabling me to qualify for a significant tax credit due to expire at the end of 2010. Throughout the job, they were courteous and professional, and even at the end of a ten-hour day, working outside by flashlight on a very cold night, they seemed determined not to cut any corners and to finish the job in a professional manner. The job has not yet been inspected, so we trust that it will meet code, but the product and the installation have, for the few weeks of operation, performed as promised. Communication from Progressive was consistently excellent. Questions were answered; crews arrived on time; a supervisor made a weekend visit to the site to study the situation. I am convinced that the initial misinformation was entirely inadvertent and it was corrected in response to subsequent inquiry. In the end, Progressive answered all of my questions and concerned, did the work as promised for the estimated cost, and performed professionally throughout. I intend to call on them again for additional plumbing work and will do so with confidence.

From quotation through installation the work was done in a timely, effecient, high quality fashion. Workers showed up on time and left the work areas clean. They were conscientious, making sure the installation was clean and within code. The work was completed on time. Both systems work great. The price paid was slightly lower than the other two quotations received.

I may have paid extra for the distance to company. My impression is very professional

We have used Progressive Plumbing in the past and been pleased with the quality of work. They understand plumbing repairs are usually urgent. The job was to remove an old electric water heater from the crawlspace and install a new one in a different location under the house. Overall, we felt the estimate was high, but there were many things they said needed to be done to bring it up to code: installing a pad for the tank to sit on; installing an overflow drain pipe to the outside of the foundation; installing an additional power cut-off switch. I also had them put the new heater in a slightly better location, where I don't have to belly-crawl to replace heater elements. The plumbers and electricians showed up on time and worked like crazy to get all the things done. Everything was done in a workmanlike manner to my satisfaction. About 2 weeks after the installation, the new water heater started putting out only about 20 minutes of hot water. They came out twice, once to replace the thermal relays, which they said had given them problems on this model of heater, and another time to verify the power circuit was sufficient, which required an electrician. No charge, of course. The problem was not solved, so they agreed to replace the entire unit. After the unit was replaced, hot water functioned as expected. They were very professional throughout this process, non-confrontational, and made sure we were pleased, and also called back to check the problem was fixed once and for all.

They did a good job. It was sort of an emergency because we didn?t have any water so we were very pleased because they were very timely; we called on a Wednesday and they came out first thing Thursday morning. I like that they didn?t try to convince us to pay for more than we needed.

They were very expensive and I would not use them again in the future.

I was impressed with the young man Steve, who showed up on time and clean for the appointment. He explained what needed to be done and the why's to my husband's satisfaction, gave us a quote and told us they could do the job within a few days. We had another company coming over for a quote, who showed up late and dirty, and had a lower price, but different plan on how to go about the job. Bob called Steve back and asked about the reasons why it might have to be done differently, felt confident that Steve knew the correct answer and also matched the other company's price. We gave the job to Progressive.

They put me on the schedule for the afternoon and about 45 mins. after my urgent call, they called back to say service person was on the way. They advised it would be a time-and-material job and quoted their hourly rate. We discussed payment options. The service person showed up, was very professional, wasted no time getting to the problem. He had to get the parts and told me he'd be back within 45 minutes. An hour later, he was knocking on the door saying the job was complete. We turned on the well pump, verified everything was working, no leaks. The pleasant part was that the service person told me though the job was time-and-material, they also had a fixed price for this type of work, which was about $70 less than the time-and-material. He charged me the lesser price.

My experience with this company was good. They went and got it from the supplier and installed it. It stopped working for a while. They suggested that the pump house wiring needed to be re-done. They referred us to an electrician. The electrician rewired it and it still wasn't working so they suggested we replace it. They did so at no charge.

THEY MADE A VERY GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION, SO I CALLED THEM TO DO SOME WORK AGAIN AND I WASN'T VERY HAPPY. THE WORK WAS REALLY GOOD. I WAS JUST DISAPPOINTED THE SECOND TIME, BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T STAY WITHIN THE ESTIMATED PRICE.

THE THING I LIKE ABOUT THIS COMPANY IS THAT THEY TELL IT LIKE IT IS. THEY DON'T BEAT AROUND THE BUSH WITH THINGS. THEY ARE HONEST AND DIRECT WITH ME AND I REALLY LIKE IT.

HE DID A GOOD JOB IN FINDING THE PROBLEM WITH THE FAUCET. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AND SAID WE COULD FIX IT OURSELVES IF IT EVER HAPPENED AGAIN. HE ALSO TOLD US WHAT WE NEEDED TO DO THAT.
