Description of Work: General Handyman work. I provided a list to him prior to his coming out, so that he would know what was expected, and have the appropriate tools. He arrived on time, worked efficiently, professionally, and cleanly. All around positive experience. Will definitely use again!!

Description of Work: Contractor fixed a threshold after original floor installer did a poor job. Repaired holes where a door was removed. The work he did was good quality but he was unable to fix the outside door threshold.

Description of Work: I must have misunderstood the deal. I though that caulking and grout replacement would all be included, but the technician told me that he could not do the grout work, only the caulking sealant at the floor joints and not the grout work in the shower.

Description of Work: Re-grouted shower stall. It went well but not the neatest job. The installer was a very pleasant fellow though.

Description of Work: Nelson WAS NOT able to help me with a wide selection of 'things I needed fixed'. He suggested I apply for a refund. His area of expertise did not line up with my issues, He was a very nice and knowledgeable man. I am sorry this did not work out. Please issue a refund. THANKS Eileen Mahr

Description of Work: They were unable to perform the work I needed within the 3 hour time frame. He did come and look at my floor before making the decision.

Description of Work: I wanted to have a shower glass door installed, but the gentleman informed me that he could not provide that service and suggested I contact a tile company.

Description of Work: The gentleman who I spoke with was very nice and funny, but he did not feel comfortable doing the work.

Description of Work: Repaired two closet doors. Repaired toilet. Repaired deck slats, dry wall damage and consulted on an electrical issue.

Description of Work: I purchased a 3 hour Deal to try out a new handyman. Nelson arrived in the time frame he said, and was pleasant to work with. He went to Home Depot (5 min away) to pick up the supplies he needed for my job and knocked out my punch list in less than the 3 hours. He was knowledgeable and and pointed out a few things that could be done in a follow-up visit to improve my issues. He will tell you if you need a specialist or if he can do it. He seemed honest and trustworthy (retired military) and a no-nonsense guy. After contacting a couple of guys who did not perform well/did not respond (not from Angie's List) I am glad I finally found my new handyman!

Description of Work: Three hours of handyman service. He ran a little late, but called me had a time to let me know. Quality of the work was outstanding. He help me out with a couple of other items, as well. I absolutely would use him again.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal to have a number of small household projects completed (replacing ceiling fan, installing baby proofing locks, filling cracks, small painting jobs and replacing air filters). Mr. Nelson was personable and on-time. He was willing to come back out (on the same day I called) to correct/redo two small projects. Having purchased a number of "big deals" in the past (some for similar services) I found his work to be average, not exceptional and not poor. Also, if you require any painting/touch up work, it's probably best to hire an actual painter. Advice I should have heeded from Mr. Nelson.

Description of Work: Some odd jobs around my home. Fixed banister, ice maker. Hung blinds, re-screened a portion of my parrot.

Description of Work: I felt that things went well overall, and was quite surprise to hear that Nelson did not feel comfortable working for me. If he does not want to do anymore work for me, I accept that, comply with his wishes, but am puzzled as to what the feelings are based upon. Since I paid for a day of services (7 hours) and only received 3.5 hours of service that additional time should be made up.
