paid $89 dollar for deal for a handyman and he did not do the job this has been going on for a year and i did not hear from him and when i called him he said he could not do the job i am asking.him to do

Services were performed as requested. He was very professional and efficient. I would hire him again for future projects.

Nelson showed up on time which I appreciate. He was dressed appropriately. He looked at the door and left. He called to tell me that since I was "seeking competitive bids", he wouldn't be sending me one. I asked how does he get work and he said he gets work from Angieslist and referrals. He stated that people trust him or they don't and that most people let him do the work and then pay the bill whatever it turns out to be. First, trust is earned. Second, I don't give anyone blank checks. His attitude was flippant and very unprofessional. Why waste my time coming to see a job if you are not giving me an estimate? This is illogical and frustrating.

He did what he said he could do and was clear about what he did not do. A good experience and will use again as needed.

I asked why he asked and he told me that if I was going to watch him, he would ask me to sing. I told him I don't sing and I'm not going to. Then he expressed frustration with assembling the cabinet. Finally, he refused the job, told me to request a refund from Angie's List, and stormed out the door.

It went well. I had no where near a half hour of caulking work (not to mention 2 hours) so I asked for assistance with a different type of repair, which he did for me. I was pleased.

Nelson is great. Did a few projects that we needed completed and was on time, polite, to the point and effective. Will absolutely call him again when we need him!

The correct color of caulk was not used. I told him an almond/tan color and he used white. Not a very social person. He should not be on Angie’s list. I could had done a better job!

He worked very fast and efficient and also offered tips for me to handle the work in the future.

He was very knowledgeable of all of the items I needed done and worked quickly from one job to the other. He had all of the equipment necessary for each job and informed me of any information needed about the items he was working on for future reference. He gave me an estimated time it would take to complete each of the jobs when we corresponded about scheduling the job so I was able to determine the number of jobs I wanted done. He also called me when he was enroute to my home to give me an ETA. I was pleased with the job he did and would recommend him to anyone needing a handyman.

He wouldn't do it because it was on the second floor (never told me that on the phone or in the ad) and he had to climb a ladder which he said he doesn't do anymore. I also received no refund from Angie's list because I reported it a few days over the 30 day refund period. So basically I bought a service that the contractor would not fulfill and no refund from Angie's list. VERY bad business by Angie's list.. Never again.

The kit was not the right one-I bought it so I made the error.

I purchased a deal for caulk removal/replacement and made an appointment for services to be performed. I told him I could do a Friday since I do not work that day, and he could not accommodate that day. I told him we would need to take time off work otherwise, and he agreed to come first thing in the morning. We prepared the kitchen in advance and expected him to come at 9 am. We received a phone call that morning where he said he decided to work on another person's kitchen instead. I called him back and he said I lived too far away (the deal was within the area he services) and suggested I get a refund since he cannot make everyone happy. He did not offer to reschedule, which was our expectation. He was short, curt, and bordered on rude despite us being the ones inconvenienced. He said he was in a situation where he was working two "equally demanding people" (one of which was us, I suppose), and he "clearly couldn't make anyone happy". Our only expectation was that he did the work on the day and time he promised, and I did not feel that was demanding. His tone certainly took us by surprise and was unnecessary and unprofessional. He clearly took on this customer after making an appointment with us, and double booked and expected us to accommodate that at the last minute.

Very quick response and easy going, we had no problems with scheduling. Very professional and knowledgeable, he does good work and gives lots of good advice.

Mr. Nelson is not a licensed plumber and was unable to sign on to the job. However, he provided me with a lot of useful tips and information in prepping for the job. If I have other jobs to be done, I will call Nelson first.

I learned why the sink faucet and stopper need to be replaced, but all other things were done efficiently. He certainly knows his stuff, and is a very comfortable person to have around. I would definitely call on him again. I gave top marks in all areas except punctuality. He was 15 minutes late and left fifteen minutes before 2 hours were up (actually cutting the two hours to 1-1/2 total). What was not done were relatively minor, but not things I can do,

Terribly! Nelcon delayed and delayed. At one point he actually said he "forgot". Then he kept finding reasons to delay, like "there was a small bush in the way". When all he had to do was run his ladder "Over the bush" and set the ladder onto the Eve. Then after months of delay the squirral came back and he delayed again.
