Description of Work: I'm not sure how to rate this. Thomas came on or about 7/1, 2 days after initiating the request via Angie's list, to look over the work. During the evaluation he did offer to provide (2) estimates for partial and expanded work. During our conversation he made it sound like he could actually start the work within 7 - 10 days. As of today 7/22 and repeated attempts to contact Thomas I've yet to hear from him. One of my texts actually gave him an out to not do the work. Very disappointed that some kind of communication was never returned. I don't like to say anything bad because you never know what someones circumstances are but a simple return of one of my text messages would not have taken much time.

Description of Work: Rebuild front steps to house.

Description of Work: Repaired a driveway (pavers) that was eroded by water.

Description of Work: In April, a neighbor's tree fell across the power line supplying our home, causing enough tension on the line to create a large crack down the side of our brick veneer house below the weather head. We got bids on repairing this crack from several brick masons, and Tom of Masonry Concepts seemed the best and most reasonable of the lot. With his help, we picked out the brick that best matched the existing brick in our house (built in 1968), and Tom picked up the 15-20 bricks needed for the repair from the brick company. He had to chip out old, fractured bricks around the crack before he could lay in the replacement bricks. He had some concerns about working near the "hot" (but well insulated) power line feeding into the weather head, but he managed not to electrocute himself. When he finished, to the casual observer who didn't know that there had been a crack, one could hardly tell where the crack had been. As a "freebie," he mortared a joint in our front steps created when the steps had settled and a small joint at one of our windows.

Description of Work: Repointed brick mortor joints and replaced missing mortor on front porch, brick veneer and wall on back patio. Completed job in one (1) day. I'd recommend him again to anyone.

Description of Work: Tom did masonary work on concecutive occasions. Repaired brick front steps. Found more to be done then anticipated so cost a little more than estimated. Total $800 but was same as other estimates. They are beautiful! Work was so good, had him do a brick walk for $1000 (a littel higher than other estimates) and it is excellent. Next I had him enlarged the foundation vents in a brick foundation so standard vents would fit and he installed vents.
