Unfortunately, they are no better than all the others. I just ended up paying more. Great responsiveness to new business quote. One month of service and at least one new person each visit. Some clean well, and others simply do surface cleaning. Dust remained on the dining room table, dirt in the corners of the bathroom floor, sticky spots on the kitchen floor; they asked to use my vaccum cleaner twice--said theirs didn't do well on carpets. Never know what time they will arrive. Sometimes 11:00, other times 3:00. Very disappointed, but giving up hope on finding anything better in this market.

The team at Maid Brigade has been cleaning our home for 3 years and we are pleased with the service they provide. Before we used Maid Brigade we tried three other services and they didn't do as thorough a job as this team does. The green products and cleaning process they use are great since I don't want to expose my family to unnecessary chemicals. They leave a comment card for us to fill out after every cleaning. When we do provide minor feedback, they keep track of it...we have never had to remind them to do something we've asked and they continue doing it month after month. Thank you Maid Brigade!

Their service is great, but they are always late. When they do get here, they do a good job. If you took Punctuality out of the equation, Professionalism would be an A.

Our experiences have all been very positive. They’re punctual and efficient, and we plan on working with them for the foreseeable future.

They cleaned the walls, baseboards, crown molding, all kitchen cabinets, interiors windows. As I said top to bottom.

The first time I phoned Maid Brigade was to have them clean a rental apartment after a move out so that the manager would not keep a large cleaning fee. It was a real mess as I had left trash behind and had not done any cleaning for the last week before the move. When the MB team left it was spotless, the management was pleased and they returned my deposit. The second time I brought in MB was this week, a cleaning in my new home after a remodel. I had cleaned it myself but it needed a professional, including dusting blinds, washing windows etc. Also I had a nasty spill of laundry detergent on tiled floor and had cleaned it myself but it was still sticky. I requested a team with a man (though I liked the first team of two ladies) to move an appliance in order to clean this floor; long story short the owner Bradley came here himself with a scrub brush, moved my washer and dryer around, and worked on the floor until it literally squeaked. I am so impressed because in all the years I've had professional cleaners no one has cared this much about satisfying me as the customer. He's a very nice and hard working fellow. In addition, my regular team of ladies works hard, is thorough and very good at communicating so they can clean according to my preferences; one speaks good English and she conveys any specific instructions I have to the other. I love this group and will certainly bring them in to clean my home for years to come. They are not the cheapest cleaners, nor are they the most expensive; considering how good they are and the fact that I can leave them there alone and feel my possessions are secure, including my most precious ones -- my cats -- Maid Brigade is the best value in my experience.

They cleaned our house weekly for several months and did a reasonably good job. They were courteous and professional. Only complaint I have is that they often did not come at the time I requested. Each week I had to remind them about the time of day I was expecting them. Once I did this they were usually accomadating. Also they were very accomadating about changing the day of service if I needed to. Also accomadating in adding services (eg cleaning out refrigerator).

The company did an excellent job and was able to accommodate me when I had to change the appointment at the last minute. The maids arrived on time and completed the areas in the house that I requested.

These guys were great to work with and did a fantastic job. We have set them up to clean on a regular basis.

I had Maid Brigade come in to my apartment while we were at work to clean. Obviously I wasn't there to double check work so I can only attest to the state the place was in when we checked on it in the evening. Every surface in the apartment was spotless. Baseboards, blinds, kitchen oven, everything. It was a very thorough cleaning. The apartment smelled nice and fresh when we went in. They called me to let me know that they were going to go over the time/price (2 Hours/$140) they quoted because the apartment was quite dirty, I was told it would probably be an extra $20 to $30. My final bill on my debit account was $198! It was very obvious that they had thoroughly cleaned the apartment and had done it probably in their socks. I say this because there were muddy footprints from the door to a spot in the middle of the floor that obviously was where the maid had left her cleaning supplies before leaving. She had left her supplies, put her shoes on at the door and walked back to get her stuff. All the while leaving imprints in the carpet of the North Carolina mud in the carpet. These spots were not faint either, they were a very deep dark orange. I called the office that night and left a message. The next morning came and went and I finally got tired of waiting for a call back. It took 3 tries until I finally got a hold of the office manager who told me that they had already sent someone out to clean up the mess they left behind. It wasn't until I called that I was informed that anything had happened. That was the last communication I received from them. Overall: Deep cleaning as long as they get the job done. Unreliable estimates/pricing. Poor communication to customers. I would be glad to attach the pictures of the spots if I can figure out how. *** In Response to Maid Brigade (11/3/11) *** As for the pricing disconnect we obviously had, I decided it wasn't worth it because I very well could have mis-heard when I was given the original quote. Again, that's a he-said/she-said kind of situation. I will also re-iterate that I wish I had gotten something in writing. Caveat Emptor! As for your confusion on the quality grade, let me put it like this: I buy a car that has everything I need except that the wheels fall off when I drive the car. Was I given everything I expected? Sure. Is the quality of the car any good? Of course not. When you are providing a single service/result (a clean house/apartment) and the carpet is stained because of the footprints of a careless employee, is there any quality in that service? Hardly.

Maid Brigade has been cleaning my home for a couple of months now on a every 2 week basis. I can not complain at all of the service provided or professionalism of the office staff or cleaning staff. They come in, do their job, and do not waste time. The only issue that I have had is getting them to commit to a timeframe from arrival other than to say the morning or afternoon. On the one occasion they were able to give me a timeframe, they were unable to follow through and arrived around an hour and one half late. Overall I am pleased with the cleaning provided.

They got most of the grout clean. As good as can be expected given the initial condition of the grout. The rest of the cleaning went well and I was satisfied with their work. The only problem was with their coupon. It said that they would take $25 off, but they only took $10 off for some reason. The poor girl had problems with her English so I didn't want to press it for $15. I could have been mistaken about the terms of the coupon.

We've used MB for a few months. They come weekly and clean the main floor for $80. We can add additional areas as needed for an additional, reasonable cost. We just call the office and tell them to add the areas and it's done! The quality is always good to excellent. We've never been disappointed. I would definitely recommend Maid Brigade!

I called on Wednesday and Bradley had a crew out on Friday to clean my 2,500 sq ft home, which has been sorely neglected. I picked up the clutter so they didn't have to clean around it and left a key so they could get in while I was at work. When I got home that evening, I was greeted with a house that sparkled like it did when I bought it. They dusted every flat surface, cleaned the smudges off the doors, got the grime off the baseboards. . . I was so happy I almost broke into tears.

I spoke personnelly with Bradley (owner) to obtain an estimate and set up arrangements for a house cleaning gift for my friend who lives in Raleigh (I'm in Boston). This was all a surprise for her. Bradley was a real professional; clearly knew the business from bottom to top and assured me they could and would do a great job. We were working on a tight schedule (between Thanksgiving & Christmas) with time availability an issue (friend travels for work). He contacted my friend promptly, found a time that worked for her schedule and the ball was rolling. The team arrived on the designated day, on time (minutes early even) and set about cleaning. The service people were very pleasant, attentive to my friend's home treasures, and completed their work throroughly and efficiently. They were very professional in every way. The charge for services was within 97% of the estimate Bradley gave me (very good for doing this long distance). They kept me in the loop as well, both before and after the service to ensure that I was informed & pleased, which I sincerely appreciated. My friend.. is she happy? I'll ask her when she stops dancing from glee! BEST GIFT SHE'S EVER GOTTEN were her words! Put that one down on your list of gifts for special people in your life, start with yourself! They arrived early and immediately got to work. We walked them around the house and explained what we wanted done and they were off to work. Very good crew of two that was constantly busy the whole time. Did not have to babysit them or anything. Will continue to use them in the future.

After using other vendors w/very little overall satisfaction re: quality, etc., my wife is very pleased w/Maid Brigade's attention to detail and professionalism. I can also attest to this. We're now having them clean our house on a regular basis.

Maid Brigade is one of the most responsive cleaning services we have ever used. If we are dissatisfied with something one week...it will be fixed the next. We am constantly requesting things and they are always happy to accommodate our needs. I am going to use Maid Brigade for a long time!

Cleaning team arrived on schedule, began work efficiently, and cleaned every room of the house thoroughly. We get the same team each time and they clean per our instructions. After the initial deep cleaning, they know what to do and do it extremely well. The team operates efficiently and expertly. This is the first cleaning service that we have been 100% happy with, and we highly recommend them to anyone who needs one-time or regular house cleaning.

The office staff is incompetent and unable to perform the simple task of scheduling. They repeatedly have to reschedule at the very last minute. Once, they even failed to put us on their schedule.

We communicated through email and they were fine.

They were good. I will use them again in the future.

I needed a moving out cleaning in a town home I had been renting. I made several inquiries from Angie's List, but Maid Brigade was the only one to respond. They have a good reputation, so I went with them. They gave an estimate, which I thought was high, but I went with them anyway. They were very professional, and they did a good job cleaning an empty home. I have no complaints about the work itself. They called and said they needed an extra hour to complete the job (at extra cost, of course). I agreed, knowing the cost would go up significantly, which it did, but felt I had no choice. Overall, the work was very good, and they did exactly what they said they would do, but the price was way too high for the work, in my opinion. In their quote, they clearly stated it would be a 2-maid team, but for some reason I was under the impression that 3 or 4 maids would come in and do a thorough cleaning in just a couple of hours. It certainly would have gone faster and cheaper had that been the case. But clearly, that was my misunderstanding and not the company. However, in the future, I will seek out other persons for cleaning and not because the work of Maid Brigade was lacking -- the work itself was good. But I would not use this company again solely for the reason that I believe they were too expensive for the work.

They are very responsive, reliable and thorough. We would use their services in the future too.

On time, on budget and no customer oversight needed.
