Great! Lynn responded quickly when I contacted her about the needed repairs. Her estimate arrived within a few days and was half what another contractor told us the work would cost. She started quickly and helped us navigate unexpected discoveries unrelated to the original work request. We already have her lined up to do some additional house repairs. Great experience!

We had a few neighbors recommend Lynn and her gang to us before we started this project and I have been very pleased with the referral. My mother-in-law moved in with us and we needed more space so we decided to convert our unfinished attic into an apartment for her. Lynn and her entire crew were friendly, hard working and dedicated to getting our job done in the best, most cost efficient way possible. Everyone that has come up to see the new space has been impressed by the quality of work that they have done. I will certainly be using Lynn's Renovation Gang again when we have more projects!

Lynn provide a quote within a week. We wanted to move quickly on this project since our son is becoming mobile and the slate fireplace stoop had super sharp edges right where he could hit his head. After receiving the quote and agreeing on the work, Lynn started and completed the project in approximately three days the next week. The team was great, they were on time, price was reasonable and they did an excellent job.

Lynn's Gang was amazing. They got by to check on us and see what we needed within 24 hours of our initial request. The team was quite knowledgeable and extraordinarily helpful. The original work was good, and any punch list items were taken care of in a timely manner. We will definitely use them again.

I am sure our project was different that Lynn's normal renovations in the type of loan we acquired to do the renovation. We had to work more on the banks schedule at times rather than hers and she was patient with this process. Once started, everything went great and I think we finished a little faster than anticipated (finished on time but were delayed by financing). We also recently had an issue with something else in our home and I called Lynn. They were out the next morning and fixed the issue quickly.

We first contacted Lynn on July 14, 2014, and she finally came to our house on July 28th to give us an estimate on several projects. We emailed her on August 5th, and August 11th, called her on August 15th, emailed her on September 5th and September 27th, each time asking for the estimate and each time being told that we would have it within a few days. Finally on October 2nd, 12 weeks after her visit, we received the estimate. She apologized for the delay and promised that she would have a better response going forward. We emailed her back the next day, telling her that the prices looked fine, and asked for some clarification on a few items on the estimate. She never replied. On November 6th we emailed her again and asked if we could set up a schedule. No response to that request. On November 30th we sent another email, telling her that our cabinets had arrived and could we please set up a work schedule. Again, no response. It is now January 5th, 2015, about six months since we first contacted Lynn and all that has happened is that we have received a written estimate, despite frequent attempts on our part to move forward. Lynn?s lack of response to repeated requests for information and scheduling has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

We can't say enough about this contractor. Lynn is everything a homeowner wants: she and her crew are professional, attentive to detail, responsive, punctual and timely, very reasonable in pricing, and creative, and nice! She and the gang have it all. We are very pleased, indeed, with this very detailed work. We are definitely asking them to continue the project of renovating our house--second floor rooms and baths are next!

The job went well. There were no delays and all work was very professional.

I called Lynn to schedule an appt for a consultation. After she cancelled the first time..she attempted to cancel The second time due to rain. She came by my home took measurements and talked to me about what I wanted. She said she would give me A price quote in a week. That's was in July 2014. Contacted her several Times and when she did finally respond she stated was sorry and would get the estimate to me shortly. 3 months later I haven't gotten ANYTHING from here. I would not recommend them at all!!!!

From start to finish, Lynn was attentive to our vision for the space and our project. She was very knowledgeable and worked with us to give us what we wanted. She helped us to vision several ways to configure the spaces we have and to get the most out of our space. Once the project was underway, Lynn's crew was nothing but professional, always cleaning up the work spaces and leaving things in good condition at the end of the work day. From the beginning, Lynn wanted us to look at their work each day and let them know if there was anything we weren't happy about. It was rare that we wanted something different than they had done, but our feedback was always taken seriously and they worked to accommodate our preferences. Lynn estimated that the project would take 4-6 weeks and it was completed in that time span. During the span of this project, we had a refrigerator quit working and a garage door that had some problems. While these issues were unrelated to Lynn's crew being here, they worked with us to correct the issues when they could and referred us to technicians as necessary. As mentioned above, Lynn's crew was more than willing to complete additional small projects that we wanted done while they were here working on the additional space. We would highly recommend Lynn and her gang to anyone looking to do a remodeling project. We have already had them return to do some additional painting and to build some garage storage. We will use them again for future projects.

Our house was on the market and feedback indicated that viewers did not like the layout of the 2nd floor. Previous owners had turned the bonus room over the garage into the master bedroom. As a result, there was no door to close between the master bedroom and bath, the light switch was at the wrong end of the bath and the master bedroom had wasted space. We found Lynn's Renovation gang on Angie's List and sent an email on Saturday evening. We received a prompt response and arranged to meet with Lynn on Monday. She arrived promptly and scoped out the situation. We were told that to switch the rooms was an easy fix and should take 2-3 days. We were delighted to be quoted a price under $1,000. Lynn's team came in promptly on the following Monday morning. They re-established the doorway between the original master bedroom and bath, framed the entryway and added a door. They then closed the doorway between the bonus room and the master bath, using green board to ensure there would be no damp issues in the master bath. All three rooms had recently been painted. Lynn's painter was able to blend in the paint on the walls perfectly. The project took 2 1/2 days at a total cost of $860. Needless to say, we were delighted with our experience with Lynn's Renovation Gang .

From initial response, Lynn was excellent. Whereas several other contractors didn't even respond, she responded quickly, met with me almost immediately, and was very personable and knowledgeable. I quickly decided that this was the person to work with. She was able to begin work within a couple weeks. One noteworthy thing is that the space was worked on continually until finished; not a few days here, a week there. Work can in right on estimate, and on time. Windows and flooring we purchased and are not part of the estimate. Lynn did initially think the a/c unit in place would cover the space, but sub-contractor suggested separate small unit. We were happy to have this space adequately cooled. We noticed a small issue with a vent not able to open a couple weeks later, and a workman was dispatched the next day! Lynn guarantees her work for three months. Her work crew was very skilled, nice to deal with, and very hard workers. The finished space is attractive, perfect for my needs, and a valuable addition to our house.

It went well. She did the work in a timely fashion. It cost exactly what she had estimated. I would recommend her to others.

We first used Lynn a few years ago to close in our 2 story family room to create a bonus room. Her quote was much lower than the others we got and we heard from a friend that she did great work so we hired her. We were so happy we did, her work was full of thoughtful details and all her workers were really kind and respectful as I was in and out of the house during the job. Since then we have called Lynn for emergencies and for small/medium jobs. She has always fit us in or kept us informed on when she could fit us in. This time we needed all the floors recarpeted or refinished in our whole house. We scheduled Lynn to come to our house while we took the kids on Spring Break - it was wonderful! We got a week at the beach and when we came home the house was beautiful! We always recommend Lynn's Renovation to anyone who is looking for a contractor, they are great!

Very well! Lynn & I worked through the design details together. She was eager to consider all options and she was able to help me make good decisions. She was very knowledgable. The work didn't begin quite as soon as I'd anticipated, but there were no time pressures on me, so I saw no reason to pin Lynn down to a particular timeframe. I'm sure she would have accommodated any needs I might have expresses, as she did in terms of the timing of the floor refinishing. Once the job began, it went pretty fast, and her workers were reliable, friendly and cleaned up at the end of each day. They, too, knew what they were doing.

Lynn's gang has completed several projects for us and our house. We had heard about them from several neighbors. We live in a single builder neighborhood, but I suspect no two houses are alike thanks to Lynn's Renovation Gang. Lynn always works with me to put outlets etc. where I want them, and she is great about utilizing space. She also gave great ideas on saving money on the finishes, tile etc. We were able to reuse some kitchen cabinets she had taken out from another job as a wet bar in our third floor. Previous projects we have done are flooring in a two story foyer to create a laundry room upstairs, re-configuring our kitchen island with new cabinets, counters, and lighting, drywall repair after a hot water heater leak. Bottom line: Their price is reasonable, and I can work with them to design a space. Some of the overpriced design groups didn't seem as eager to hear my ideas like Lynn. You can tell she and her husband Tom really want you to be happy and enjoy your home!

Excellent service - prompt, friendly and very patient when I had questions. The staff doing the work was cleaner and more respectful than any other team I've had in my house. The work was done promptly but with high quality.

From day 1, Lynn and her gang have satisfied our needs for our newly purchased home. Her ideas for new space, colors and attention to details demonstrated her experience and expertise with home renovation/repairs. We contacted Lynn's Renovation Gang to create a second floor bathroom in the open second floor of our two story foyer, and then convert the small bathroom and laundry room into a larger laundry and give us additional storage space. Lynn met with us when scheduled, came up with a layout to use, we discussed and finalized for her to give us a quote. Lynn was able to squeeze in a few weeks of work before the holidays to get us off the ground, and then wrapped up after the holidays. It's great to have a female contractor - she thinks of things like limiting amount of time without washer and dryer :-) Lynn was always available to answer questions, her crew was very professional and the same people came every day. Either Lynn, her husband Tom, or her crew head Jesus were always on site. As the job progressed no one was upset with a change in the the plan, the kind of things that are bound to happen as a project gets underway. And at the end of the job there were no surprises in the results or in the financials - everything was as agreed upon. We are very pleased with the final outcome of our project, and will call Lynn's Renovation Gang to quote on our next project!

Lynn showed up and I told her what I needed. She said she would email me the estimate that night. Waited a two days for an email, but no email came. I called, they said Monday i should get an estimate. Over a month later no estimate no call... Wasn't going to follow up anymore, didn't want to work with someone who has poor communication with the client.

We bought a new house and wanted to get some remodeling work done immediately. Out of 3 general contractors, Lynn had the best bid and seemed to understand the work we wanted done better than the others. By the time we asked her to take the job, she had already accepted another major job, but asked if we minded if she just worked weekends for the first few weeks. We agreed. Lynn's crew went above and beyond and never changed the price from what we had initially agreed upon. She even knew we had $3,500 in a reserve fund in case there were unanticipated things, but she kept to the initial budget even though plenty of times she could have reasonably asked for more money. Her crew works fast and they are experts. They really care about the job they are doing. Here is an example: They pulled out the old vanity in the master bath to install a new one. In the process, they realized that duct work behind the wall on the side of the vanity didn't need as much space as had been allotted for it. In fact, duct right-of-way was about 7 inches too large. So they tore down that part of the wall and re-framed and dry-walled this 7 inch by 24-inch area. They gave us more square footage for our new vanity -- and they did this on their own initiative (of course they first asked us if we wanted them to do it -- of course we agreed!). There are many other stories about them going above and beyond... such as chasing around the building permit people for weeks to get them to let us build our deck (there was an easement issue), or asking my wife if she wants to check out a chandelier that another one of her customers was throwing away -- we got it free and love it! Even just working weekends for most of the project, they finished long before we thought they'd be done. It was actually sad to see them go. Lynn should probably raise her rates -- the work she does is definitely not "discount".

We cannot say enough good things about Lynn's Renovation Gang! From the moment Lynn entered our home to initially discuss our attic plans, we were hooked! She had such vision and excitement and it showed! Everything she told us she would do, she did...and then some! She kept us well informed about each and every decision we needed to make along the way and truly listened to our wants and needs for the space. Lynn, and her gang, went above and beyond from the custom built-ins that utilize every square inch to the care and attention spent listening and making changes to things we needed as we went along to make the space perfect for our needs. The finished space turned out far better than we imagined! Aside from our amazing new attic, Lynn and her gang helped us out with HVAC issues and laundry room flooding. Both incidents happened on a weekend evening and both times she sent someone right over to fix it. We also created a small list of extra items we wanted done in the house - installing sconces, changes light fixtures, adding electrical outlets, fixing a piece of furniture - all were done professionally! When we were looking for someone to complete our attic renovation, we looked at reviews on Angie's List first and noticed all of the rave reviews for Lynn's Renovation Gang. Now that we have our own personal experience with Lynn we can understand why everyone loves her! They are honest, on-time, professional, knowledgeable, hard-working and good at what they do. After six weeks of renovation, in and out of the house every day, we couldn't have asked for a better group. Even my two year old jumped up and down when she saw "her" Ms. Lynn coming in the door. We are all happy to have found her and will continue to call her for future needs!

Lynn is the best kept secret in the Raleigh/Durham area. We are not from the area and are not "handy", so when we bought our fixer upper we were concerned about being taken advantage of. After being referred to Lynn by a friend, we quickly realized we had nothing to worry about. We sent her our very lengthy inspection report and she took care of everything on the list. Her prices were very reasonable, her team completed their work on the timeline we established, and she never passed the cost on to us when something took longer than expected. She was responsive (she virtually always picks up her phone) and she didn't "create work" even though she easily could have given the breadth of the project and our lack of knowledge. She explained every repair her team made and kept us in the loop regarding cost throughout the project. She was accessible and we got the impression that she genuinely loves what she does. Lynn was a pleasure to work with and we continue to use her regularly for all of our repairs.
