Legacy Plumbing Company

Did my homework; read the reviews. Called Legacy; Jamie immediately picked up at 7:30 am. Reported a leak coming from second floor bath or washing machine (?) through light fixture in front hallway. Jamie, was very kind, professional,and worked within our busy timeframe to set up an appointment for first thing the very next morning. Very pleased with his responsiveness and commitment to keep costs low for what appeared to be a big issue. In my book, level of professionalism on first contact is pretty critical. Red tape or phone tag can be maddening. Technician (sorry can't remember his name). Called on his way to let us know that he was in the area and ready to begin work if we were ready to receive him. Arrived early or on time for the agreed window -- Nice surprise. He began his assessment, was very thorough. He determined that there was no leak from any drains or pipes. He did have to cut a small hole in the downstairs ceiling but there was no other way to get the full view of the issue at hand. He determined leak was a result of water seeping out of the shower onto the bath floor or from old caulk that was no longer creating a seal. He recaulked the entire tub surround, around the base of the tub, and an area of moulding that had chipped away near the side of the tub. Have used shower numerous times after the two day waiting period (setting the caulk) and no leaks! He was very professional, very thorough, and really did try to keep costs to a minimum. Highly recommend and would use Legacy again but hope not to have to. :)

They were very good, helpful and pleasant. They even offered to fix anything else, while they were here, but we didn't have anything else for them.

Our kitchen sink faucet could pivot. It was leaking around the shaft that held the faucet itself. I checked Angie?s List and found Legacy Plumbing. They were very responsive. They could have come out the next day if I had needed them to. The plan was to replace the washers and gaskets. When Joel arrived ? on time ? he discovered that the faucet had been sealed at the factory and it would have to be replaced. Since Joel was ?on the clock? anyway, I asked him to go to the store with me and help me select a quality faucet. He was happy to do it. He explained the various features of several faucets and installed a new one quickly. We are very pleased with how the new faucet looks and how helpful Joel was. We will contact Legacy Plumbing again when the need arises.

I was very pleased with the response time and the professionalism of Joel. I felt as though Legacy Plumbing was fair in their services. They could have gotten me for a whole water heater replacement, but instead only replaced what was needed (the expansion tank, pressure relief valve and pressure reducing valve). After Joel finished replacing the parts, he took the wet/dry vac that was in the basement and cleaned up the water on the floor. Joel also took the time to explain different water heaters for when we do need to replace the current one. Joel had the parts on his truck so he was able to be very efficient and get the job done quickly.

Was very pleased with Joel Rivera from Legacy Plumbers. We have a medical situation in our house, and Joel was very accommodating. Our house is 11 years old, and he showed us how the builder did not do a good job in placing the original sink, the whole for sink was too big! But of course Joel was able to make it work. We greatly appreciate the work that Joel & Legacy plumbing did for us. Would highly recommend this company! Thank You Joel & Legacy Plumbing.

I called Legacy with a straightforward kitchen plumbing problem on the morning of Dec. 29, a week of vacations for many businesses. Legacy was the fourth plumber I tried to get a same-day appointment with and were the only ones who could fit me in that week. They promised service sometime between 2 and 4 of the day I called. They actually showed up at closer to noon, which was maybe an hour after I called. The technician (Johnny) was courteous, professional and thorough. He fixed the immediate problem, and did repairs to help alleviate other long-standing problems found in old plumbing. He explained what he was doing, offered recommendations that took into account the cost, and showed me what he had found and what his approach to fixing it was. All in all, a very nice experience, given that it involved both plumbing and money!. More importantly, a quick resolution to my problem. I will definitely use Legacy again for my plumbing needs.

After giving our upstairs bath a thorough cleaning, I was shocked to find water dripping out of the ceiling underneath about an hour later. Legacy was there in 30 minutes of my call (after I ran around trying to figure out what I must have accidentally dislodged). Turns out the problem was because our 25-year old bathtub has started to have some rot around it and the cleaning water leaked under the tub and into the sub-floor and finally out our ceiling. It was a self-limiting problem and required no professional intervention but the peace of mind of knowing our ceiling would not collapse right before Christmas was well-worth the $95!

Great. I was able to schedule the work promptly and the plumber onsite was very professional. He worked quickly and tested all the lines before leaving. Unlike other plumbers I've used in the past, Legacy is not pushy with their services. I was given an Angie's List discount and was happy with the price. I will always call Legacy for my plumbing needs.

After receiving a $500 water bill with an estimated use of 17,000 gallons of water in one month, I went to Angie's list and looked specifically for a contractor who had been rated highly due to repair work. I called Legacy Plumbing around 7pm, expecting to get a voice mail. Instead, I got a person who helped trouble shoot the problem then set up a service call for the following Monday at 8am. At 8am on the dot Joel R. arrived, listened to the problem, asked several relevant questions then went about looking for the leak. After an hour and a call back to his supervisor, the mystery of the $500 water bill was still just that. It was clear to me that there was no leak based on what Joel showed me. Right meter, correct reading. Guess what? Bad meter! That in no way diminishes the quality, care and professionalism by which Joel acted. After all was said and done, I was charged only for a service call. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for help.

We remodeled our kitchen and the last thing needed was the installation of the faucet and hooking up the garbage disposal and dishwasher. Overall it went well. The one unfortunate thing is that in our new double sink, we were planning on having the garbage disposal attached to the larger, deeper left side. However, the plumber was unable to do it. He tried but it just didn't work. In spite of that, we likely will consider them next time we need a plumber.

The entire experience was very pleasant and professional. It has been hard to find a good plumber who doesn't try to over-sell and who does quality work. Johnny was excellent from start to finish. He arrived right on time and wasted no time in getting right to work. He explained everything that he did and why and did not try to perform services that were not needed just to get an extra dime. I will continue to use Legacy in the future for all plumbing needs and will be referring the company to family and friends as well. Thanks for a great job!

I've used this company before..always very reasonable, friendly and honest. He replaced our faucet in the kitchen and was able to come the same day I called. VERY happy to have a good plumber I can call on whenever a need arises!!

We discovered we needed to relocate some pipes during a construction project. The project would be delayed in about a day if we didn't move them. I called Legacy mid afternoon. They had a plumber, Erin, on site in about an hour for an estimate. The quote was for 3 hours of labor plus material. Erin returned the next morning to do the job. It took the 3 hours quoted allowing the construction project to continue uninterrupted. Work was professional, prompt, and neat. Erin made no mess and even fixed a minor sink leak discovered preparing for his work. I couldn't be more pleased. I don't know pluming prices. This might not be the lowest price, but when I get prompt, professional and courteous service done right the first time with no fuss, I'm happy and willing to pay for it. Legacy was the 5th call I made trying to get a plumber. Next time they will be the first.

The job was accomplished over a 3 day period, and we now have a reliable source of water. One little side note...after the job was done, I had a leak in one of my bathrooms (late on a Saturday afternoon which is when problems seem to occur), and called my lead contact at Legacy (Jamie). I had already turned off the water supply and done a little investigative work, but was in a bit of a panic. Jamie calmed me down and made some suggestions as to what the problem might be. It turned out to be an easy fix for me...whew...I really appreciated his assistance.

This company was very timely and did all work in an excellent manner.

Erin was very efficient and polite and willing to go over and beyond to assist and repair.

No problems........went very well. He arrived promptly when he said he would and finished the job quickly......would definitely call them again when needed.

Mike called to say he would be later than scheduled, then arrived in the time he estimated. He was very pleasant and professional. He replaced the faucet and drain quickly and efficiently and cleaned up everything. I am very pleased with the work done and I will definitely call Legacy for more plumbing work should I need any.

Mike and Johnny arrived promptly. He and Johnny are the best plumbers I have ever had in 42 years of owning residential and commercial property. They are thinkers and did installation with future ease in mind, as well as thorough assessment of the best product and its feasibility and position. We have hot water in several seconds now, with our water heaters plumbed properly and several problems future problems averted. We are very happy with the frost-free hose bib and are considering upgrades elsewhere. When I asked about some products, Mike explained his experience with them and helped me use my money to its best advantage. Johnny kept working at a puzzling issue and explained the "upgrades" in the replacement set and advised keeping the old set for parts, which he repackaged for storage. I understand my plumbing system so much better now. I could not recommend anyone more highly than Mike and Johnny.

Johnny did a great job and was a pleasure to work with. He was on-time (despite nasty weather),very professional, and did a great job. I will use him again!

We had a water pipe bust under the house. I called several plumbers and was told by each that they were too busy to come out today because they were swamped with similar calls. When I called Legacy Plumbing, the guy on the phone first told me the same thing. Then he said he would try to squeeze me in. With in an hour, Mike called and said he was close by and could come check it out. He was very knowledgeable and fixed the problem. He mentioned that since all of our pipes are Polybutylene, they will need to be replaced. We knew that, but have been putting it off for years. Mike gave us a quote and we will probably use Legacy for that project, just not right now.

They came out twice. They turned out to be great. I liked that they were professional, timely, and they cleaned up after themselves. I will use them again in the future.
