Leo the crew chief explained all that they were going to do and he and his crew were very professional. After review of work order all was completed and we could not be more pleased. All debris was chipped and removed yard was cleaner than when they arrived. It impressed me that they did not use tree spikes to climb the pine as they said it could damage the tree.

We have 4 trees that are planted in beds around the house and were growing into the gutters, roof, windows, etc. Chris came out and assessed the trees and decided a good trimming and a few limbs being removed was all that was needed. The trees provide a lot of shade so being able to keep them was a huge plus. We had 1 tree completely removed and you would never know it was there now based on their clean up of the stump. Price was reasonable for the job and timely. Will use them in the future.

The work had been requested by my home insurance provider to be completed as soon as possible. They responded to my on line request, came out for the estimate and completed the work within three weeks of my first contact with them. They were on time and professional. All limbs and debris were removed and the area was cleaned. They did leave some wood behind for firewood, per my request. I appreciated the speed with which Leaf and Limb responded. I had requested estimates from two other companies. One was more expensive and would not be able to do the work until August. The other company never called me back. Now I have my "go to" arborist for the future!

Leaf and Limb are an excellent company to work with! They scheduled a time to come out and evaluate my front yard tree, and the contact that met me was on time, helpful, and through. After receiving the free quote (overnight by the way), the office gave me an idea of when my work would be done. Closer to work day, the office emailed me to remind me. The work was performed exactly as described, and they left nothing behind, leaving my yard looking great! My 5 year old maple tree is now better shaped and provides a better 'front of house' picture from the street. I also feel confident that the tree is healthier with a thinner canopy and likely to withstand weather better in the future. I couldn't recommend Leaf and Limb more highly!

The company was great! Besides being the best price around (I got four quotes), they did a very nice job. They were professional, asked how much we wanted trimmed and how we wanted the tree shaped. I was happy with the outcome!

It went very well - the crew was on time and efficient, and left the area clean and without debris. I did need to call to get the results of the estimate (done when I was not at home). It was not automatically sent. Very minor issue though and I would certainly use the business again; I would just clarify when I should expect the estimate if I was not able to receive it in person.

The estimates are fair, the workers are punctual, efficient and clean up is exceptional. The stump grinding was done about a week later and was done to our satisfaction. We will continue to use Leaf and Limb for tree removal.

Just like the first time, everything went perfectly. They gave me an estimate, explained the costs, provided proof of insurance, and cut the tree down on the scheduled date. The first scheduled date was rained out, and they called promptly to confirm the cancellation and reschedule. I trust them so much I wasn't even home on the day they cut the tree. I came home and the tree was gone, everything was clean, the brick walls were undamaged, etc. I work 60 hours/week and don't have time for foolishness, and I'm picky. These are the only folks who will do this sort of work on my house....EVER.

Good people, knowledgeable, but another provider had a lower bid and did the work.

I had several dead trees and a few that were just too close to the house that I needed to have removed. I did a LOT of research and gathered quotes from 4-5 companies, including Leaf & Limb. Some were a bit higher and some were lower. I chose L&L because I had read good reviews and because I liked some things I read on their website - particularly about how they will be careful to leave the property the way they found it, if not better, and how careful and experienced they are. It took just over 4 weeks for them to get to my project (I was told 2.5 - 3 weeks). When they did finally come out they cut down the trees but left them there on the property. No one called me to let me know that they left them or when they planned to come back. One of the trees they cut up and stacked at the end of the street, which blocked a portion of a neighbors driveway. I had to call 3 times before someone came out to pick up those logs, then a different person came another time to get the rest of the trees. Twice when I called I was told someone would be there but then no one showed up. They also left several large ruts where one tree had fallen without any attempt to fix them. I had to request for them to come back to fix them, which the eventually did. I was very disappointed in my experience with Leaf & Limb. I hope that I just had a rare unfortunate experience with them but I thought it was worth mentioning here. If you have a small project (maybe just one tree) they may be fine. The most annoying part was how often I had to reach out to them to find out what was going on.

The whole process was pretty painless. I found them on Angies list and contacted them through the site. They emailed me and asked me to photograph the areas in need of work and answer a few questions and they were able to quote from that. The price seemed a little high but we needed it done. The folks both on the phone and those that carried out the work were professional and prompt. I would use them again and recommend them highly.

The scheduling process was a little crazy but the work of the crew was excellent. They were prompt, professional, cleaned up very well and made some suggestions about ways to take care of the trees in my yard. I would absolutely use this company again.

Leaf and Limb tree service was very quick (a couple of days after request) to have someone come and provide an estimate the cost of cutting down and removing two trees from my backyard as well and trim and shape a tree in the front yard. The estimator was very courteous and provided what I felt was a reasonable estimate. Upon choosing to use their service, there was several weeks delay before a team actually arrived (both scheduling issues and bad weather were contributing factors). Nevertheless, the team that did the job was both friendly and professional. Indeed, I feel they did an excellent job and cleaned up behind them. It was clear that they were well trained and experienced. I will definitely be calling Leaf and Limb tree service again if I need more tree work.

Fantastic service. The guys that came out to perform the work were very nice and very careful with moving the grinder around my yard. The results are great. I'll definitely have them back out when I need more work done. The stump grinding backlog was pretty big when I called (I picked one of the busier times of the year), but they set the expectations up front that it would be several weeks, and they kept me updated as the weather introduced delays. Superb customer service.

They did a great job. They cut the stumps so close to the ground that I didn't feel the need for stump grinding. My estimates for this project were all over the map and Leaf and Limb was the lowest estimate, so I went with them and am glad I did. They cut down both trees over a two day period, they cleaned up everything (they did leave some logs in the yard a few extra days after the cutting, but that was no big deal). They even took my old Christmas tree out of my branch pile and disposed of it while they were here.

I contacted Leaf & Limb in December about getting some tree work done (removal and/or pruning) in Jan-Feb 2014. Chris Reed came out 12/19/13 and promptly emailed me a detailed estimate with several options for tree work. After I committed to the work and scheduled a tentative appointment for early February, the company kept in contact throughout the wacky weather of January 2014 and even completed the work a week earlier than we had originally scheduled. I did not have to pay until I was satisfied, and I remain very happy with how my yard looks and feels.

We had several companies come out to provide estimates, and not only was Leaf and Limb the most competitive, but they seemed to have the most confidence that it was a quick, easy job that wouldn't be cause for any concern (i.e., damage to our fence, house, yard, etc.). The estimator came out quickly (I believe the next day), gave us a written quote, and even told us that we could get a discount for booking the service during their slower time (Feb). The discount from the company, combined with an Angie's List coupon for stump grinding, made Leaf and Limb a no-brainer cost-wise. Correspondence throughout the entire process was excellent; they sent us a full proposal (including our discounts noted), we agreed, and then they put us on the schedule for a few weeks out. I think normally you can get on the schedule a little faster (especially during their slower months), however the rain and snow have been killer to any company that performs work outside, so there was a little backlog. Regardless, they put us on a schedule for 1 week and said they'd notify us as it got closer. In fact, we were even able to bump up sooner due to a cancellation, so that was a nice surprise. A team of 3 guys came to cut down the tree, introduced themselves and got right to work. They climbed up and cut down the branches and then took the tree down and chopped into smaller logs, and hauled them away. I think our one tree maybe took an hour from start to finish, and we were so impressed that they took the time to rake up any limbs or chips from the tree, and one guy even went through our entire backyard with a leaf blower and just made everything look really clean again (including debris that wasn't even from them). They notified us when they were done, and told us that another guy would come shortly to do the stump grinding. Sure enough, the guy came the very next morning and did it very quickly, efficiently, and the final product looks amazing. We highly recommend this company!

The project took time due to poor weather conditions over the November to January project time frame, however, when the crews were able to work I was impressed with their professionalism, their focus on safety, and their overall work ethic. I was especially impressed when the company sent out a supervisor to conduct an impromptu safety audit. For me, a focus on safety is one of the most important attributes for any contractor working on my property. Removing some of the trees required a planned approach to ensure that neither my house or driveway were damaged. I was impressed with their techniques. The price was very satisfactory. The clean up was also satisfactory. I will be using this company again and highly recommend them.

From the the initial phone call to them leaving the property, everything went just as smooth as I could hope. Andrea in scheduling was friendly. Stuart came out to give an estimate which was fair. He showed up on time and explained the process. I really like the way they emailed me the contract and how I could sign, scan and email it back to them. Jorge and his crew was able to come out and do the job sooner then expected which is a good thing. Him and his crew were friendly, professional and took the time to answer all of my questions regarding the types of trees in my yard and how to care for them. They are truly skilled and went above my expectations.

This was a really good experience from beginning to end. The person who gave me the estimate was very knowledgeable and helpful. He made a few suggestions that did not increase the amount of the job. I received a written estimate and an email on their insurance. Also I received three calls to let me know the status of my job and the estimate date of completion. The three workers arrived on time and were extremely courteous. They asked for my input before, during and after the job. I was very happy with their work and plan to use Leaf & Limb in the future.

Great. The trees look wonderful; you can now see the house and yard, and get out of the driveway without being swiped by low hanging limbs. And one can mow without limbs in the face. Old, large shrubs were removed and stumps ground. All very neat and professionally done. These folks are professionals.

We were very impressed by the estimator. He showed up on time, walked around the property with us pointing out things that could cause damage and reassuring us about other things we were worried about. He approximated service cost. His office e-mailed a final cost and we agreed to service. We were able to get on the schedule about 3 weeks from initial contact. In between, they were responsive by e-mails about whatever questions we had. On the day before we were scheduled, they called and asked if they could delay because they were still finishing up another job. We agreed to the next day. Start was estimated about 9am that next day. However, they called about 11am that day and said the truck broke down. They did come within the next day and completed the tree cutting and trimming over the 2 days they promised. At the end, they left logs stacked by the side of the driveway, but did not tell us when they would come to pick them up. After a few days, we called the office, and this time they did not seem to know what we were talking about. We were told the tree stump grinding would be done on another day and the logs would be picked up soon. We were not clear on all of that when we started. However, they did come back, grind the stumps, took all the logs away, and cleaned up very neatly. On billing, we initially agreed they would spread out the payments over 4 months and that was satisfactory for us. Though there were some confusing moments and a few miscommunications, at the end we were very pleased with the services. They knew what to do when on premises, were pleasant, and cleaned up very well behind themselves. We know that some of the problems with the scheduling could not be helped. We can honestly say we would use this service again.
