+ -1 moreHired on referral from our local nursery, they were supposed to plant our entire yard, take care of some existing trees, etc. Big job. Matt showed up originally, nice guy and knowledgeable, but then that was it. The people who showed up had no idea what they were doing, dug tiny holes and brought un-labled, sick plants. Most of what they planted died within the first week, half of it wasn't even the right plant or was in the wrong place. When we showed them right away we got "It may come back" or "we'll replant next year, the season is gone". Of course they did not. They never finished, Matt left and nobody else there knew what was going on. Two years later of not responding to us they now pop up asking for full payment to consider it "done" or MORE money to finish, despite an abandoned job and majority failure, but we've replaced most the plants ourselves now. Stay away, horrible company.

+ -1 moreBe careful not to waste your time. These guys are terrible. They came out and spent a lot of time giving us a detailed quote for a few trees we needed and some other services they tried to sell us (trimming and a fertilization / spraying maintenance program). Turns out to have been wasted time because when we called them to get the work done THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THEIR QUOTE.

+ -1 moreIt took a couple of weeks to get an estimate because they were backed up due to all of the hurricane damages in the area. But once I got the estimate they actually were able to get it done early (in fact in three days) even though they are very busy right now. Kelly Godwin was the estimator. He was punctual, friendly, and very helpful. He found an early opening to get the limb off and to stop damaging my roof! I found the price to be reasonable for the work required.

+ -1 moreA certified arborist came out initially to see what was needed and gave me a written estimate. Communication by phone, email and in person was clear and professional. They were up front about needing the scheduling to be somewhat flexible, and were able to get to me a little sooner than expected (which was fortunate because it got done before Hurricane Florence). The arborist supervised the crew and pruned a couple of difficult shrubs himself. They did a great job and left my property better cleaned up than when they arrived, even removed a pile of dead limbs I had left on my driveway. I did not get price quotes from other businesses, so I can't speak to how their prices compare.

Description of Work: Removal of one large tree and several smaller ones. Pruning of many trees, large bushes and shrubs. And not just indiscriminate shearing and cutting, rather Leaf & Limb’s crew were clearly well-trained and knew what they were doing. They uplimbed trees and then selectively pruned and shaped only where it was needed. They thinned and removed dead branches from several large River Birches, making them much more beautiful and healthy-looking. They pruned River Birch roots that were likely going to be a future problem as they were growing under my HVAC unit. And in doing so, rather than using shovels or other tools, they used high-pressure air to more precisely displace the dirt and expose the offending roots. They also treated some azaleas that had a lace bug infestation, treated a Maple tree to suppress Gloomy Scale on its bark, and also did some deep fertilization for both. I should also have mention that I was provided itemized and detailed plans for the work that was to be done, complete with pictures. Finally, I can’t say enough good things about the crew that did the work. Not only did they do good work, but they were also friendly and professional.

+ -1 moreGreyson came out and spent quality time to go over our needs for the trees and didn't rush the visit which I appreciate. We were looking for someone who was a certified arborist who was going to help the health of our current trees and prune where the trees needed help. He sent a quote back and moved forward from there. His team arrived on time and finished the job in 2 days - we have a large yard. Unfortunately, one of the tree limbs fell on our irrigation line and we had to have that fixed immediately. It was a small set back and happy the company reimbursed us immediately for the cost of having it repaired. Wonderful and competant team who cares about saving your trees and not just cutting them down. Customer service - fantastic!

In their words "I can make this happen", and they did. The person who came out was polite, friendly, professional, and did a great job. Would definitely recommend using Leaf&Limb again.
Description of Work: Needed two stumps ground down with a fairly tight turnaround so that it would be done before schedule aeration and reseeding of lawn.

+ -1 moreCould not have been better. Joe clearly explained situation with sick trees. They could treat them but it would be costly and there would be no guarantees that they would recover. We decided to remove them. They have an excellent program for injection fertilization of trees and shrubs which is done every six months. I'm having the second treatment this week. Everyone looks healthy and happy.

+ -1 moreThey were fairly expensive, we found, so we only ended up removing a couple of trees as opposed to what we were wanting to do, but they did a good job and they were reliable. I’d give them an A for work. We couldn’t afford to do more, but I thought their work was excellent. They were thorough. They were watchful. We were pleased with everything, it just wasn’t something we were able to do as much as we wanted. I don’t want it to go against them, it was just a little bit too pricey for us. I don’t know in comparison to others, where that was, so yeah, I would say leave that at an A – I don’t want it to go against them. They were very nice.
