One of the owners was on site during the entire instalation. They hand nailed the entire project so as to not cause problems in the future because a nail gun can cause leaks down the road. All of the staff were very helpful from Debbie in the office to the owner and the installers. They cleaned up the yard and took a magnet across the lawn and driveway to ensure that all the anails were picked up. My yard was left clear of nails and debris. It took a full day for the roof to be replaced. We were home the entire time and very pleased with the professionalism of the staff. I would definitely recommend them to others. In fact I referred them to my neighbor who had the same type of damage. They did their roof too. We saw other companies replacing roofs in the neighborhood and they were using nail guns in order to speed up the process. Housetop Roofing by far did the best job.

Everything went well They were ontime and very respectful.they did the job in a timely maner and cleaned up the work sight very wel.Verry happy with the job that was done and with the workers that performed the work.

They did a good job, and they provided excellent service for me. As a word of advice to other members, when you replace your roof, make sure you drop a sheet down in your attic, because there will be pieces of the felt paper that will make a mess.

I stayed at home to watch the installation and went up on the roof as needed. One of the questions I asked before commitment was if they had experience in removing Solar Panels. That was a big concern, and one of the reasons I chose them. They said they did. They did not. They had no idea what they were doing. If I had not stopped them, they fluid in the panels would have leaked on my entire storage space. I asked that no one walk to the rubber flat roof of my screened porch. They walked on it repeatedly. I had to repeatedly tell them not to walk on it. Unfortunately, this did no good because the crew did not speak English. In the contract specifications, it was noted that if they had to walk on it, plywood protection would be put in place. They did not protect it. I asked that particular care be taken with the skylight. They broke the glass insert in the skylight. It is safety glass, so it spidered, but did not fall. The insert needs to be ordered. They gave me a credit. But now I have to open up the skylight, remove the glass, insert a new piece and reseal the skylight. They did not use galvanized nails, so now they are rusting. I already have a leak where 2 nails ruined a spot on the plywood. I would never use them again, nor recommend them to anyone.

Called Housetop, office staff was not in but returned my call promptly. Set up date for estimate, Robert came out and looked at the job, gave me a price quote and the work was scheduled and done in great time. No problems and very great quality work. I would definitely hire them again.

They are friendly. They provide prompt service and good service. I will recommend them in a heartbeat. If I look at the price and then how good the job, they do then I will grade them A. If I use someone else, it might a little bit cheaper, but they don't do a good job.

I had called Housetop after my roof starting leaking. I had just purchased the home and the inspector did not find this issue. I have a 1 story 1,300 sq ft home and the quote was $5,150. Robert was very helpful in explaining the issues and deception used by the prior owner to cover up the issues. Housetop was very professional and competitively priced. The team did a good job cleaning up after themselves during and after. I am very happy with their work then and now (1 year 5 months later). The Housetop team also installed new gutters for an additional $630. They also removed and replaced trim as needed due to the prior owners poor trim work for an additional $840. In the Spring 2011, I also had them replace some siding. I was very happy with the work, but it took some constant calling on my end this time to see if they had found a supplier of the siding. I would HIGHLY recommend their work and I have already provided their name to friends.

When we finally decided that we needed to replace our roof we contacted a few different companies. After meeting with all of them we liked the professionalism and attitude of Housetop the most. Very helpful, answered questions, gave answers that were confirmed by other sources, and didn't make us feel like children or that they were doing us a favor by giving us a quote. All the quotes we received were within $200 of each other and all had licenses, insurance, references and used quality materials. Our choice came down to the fact that they were the best people we dealt with and that they hand-nailed every shingle. The quote was $3,500, but with wood replacement we paid $3,758, a point they made clear. We met to sign the contract and pick our shingles on a Monday and they were on the roof on Friday. They showed up with about 20 guys all of whom were polite and respectful of our house and yard. The foreman was very professional and took me aside to go over and confirm what work was being done which really put my mind at ease. They then covered all the shrubs and area around the house and got to work. They removed all the old shingles, replaced the rotten wood, and installed a new attic fan and new shingles. They showed me all the wood they replaced and it was all bad, then cleaned up beautifully. They went around the whole house with large magnets and even used a leaf blower on the driveway and carport and paid particular attention to that area for nails. The only thing I ever found was a 3 in corner of felt paper. The whole process only took about 4 hours. Its only been a month now, but we've had a lot of heavy rain, big winds and snow and there is now indication of leaks or problems with the installation. Our house looks great and I'd recommend Housetop Roofing to anyone needing roof repairs or replacement.

They did a good job and also stuck to the price that was quoted by somebody else over the phone. They also removed the old gutter garbage, as it was making the gutters worse. They took it away and didn?t charge me for doing that. My experience with them was excellent. We had actually called another company for cleaning the gutters. I called two people yesterday. One girl, who was supposed to call me from Housetop Roofing, didn?t call me back. So, I called somebody else in the mean time who gave me an estimate of 60 $ over the phone and I went with them. Later on, Housetop Roofers came out which I never realized, as they didn?t have their name on the truck and I couldn?t hear them as the dogs were barking. So, I asked them to start the work. When I found out that they were from Housetop Roofing, I was a bit hesitant as I had told the other people to come out, while these guys were a bit early. So, I called the other people and canceled it because the guy from Housetop Roofing said that he would get the work done for 60 bucks itself. It was a good deal, but the only thing I was not happy with was that, the girl I spoke to should have called me back. I will use them again in the future, if required.

So far it is holding well. They also redid something that another company did not fix it well, and went off of warranty. So they fixed it for us. They are very prompt and so far so good.

Overall, they did exactly as they said they would do, but the cleanup was incomplete and sloppy. I did find lots of leftover material in my back yard and at least a dozen nails in the bushes, on the screen porch, etc. I had to clean up my own yard. I also had to call and remind them about the gutter portion of the job and they had to send out another person to complete that part.

Very good experience. Fast, prompt 1st meeting. Fair & accurate estimate. They even called ahead of schedule and were able to fit us in way before, due to a cancelation. We have had lots of rain since they replaced our roof, and leak is gone! Very pleased, would use again.

Received estimate, which by the way only increased by $288 over quote. Workers reported as scheduled. Performed a terrific job. Left yard free off all materials. All workers were very polite and professional. Supervisor stayed on job, kept us informed of work, answered all questions we had.

They did an excellent job. They showed up on time, reviewed the details of the job before starting, and went to work. The crew removed the cedar shingles and tar paper, a tedious, messy job. The plants were protected and tarps were used to slide the debris off the roof. There was minimal damage to plants and grass areas. 30-year AR asphalt shingles were put on the roof, ridge vents were installed, plywood was replaced as needed, and all flashings were installed per agreement. Clean-up was done very well but if one has small children I would recommend borrowing their magnet rake (bar) and carefully redoing the yard for nails (there are tens of thousands of nails used on the old and new roofing). The roof looks great.

They did a few extra things that were not in the proposal at no extra charge. They also gave us a five year guarantee on the roof.

We moved into our home in late January. The first hard rain revealed the gutters were not working. The rain poured through the front gutter onto the house and flower box. Housetop was highly recommended by a close friend who is knowledgeable in the area of home maintenance, so I never even checked with Angie's List. They responded promptly to my call and Don came out the next day. He checked the gutters and said they were in good shape and did not need to be replaced. He cleaned them and put guards on. The next hard rain revealed the exact same problem. Don came out again and expressed his surprise because he knew the gutters were good. He decided the problem must be in the drain pipe, which it was. He dismantled and cleaned the drain pipe and we haven't had a problem since. There was no charge for the second visit.

This is the second time that I called Housetop Roofing thinking that I might need to replace my roof. Both times Robert said that only minor repairs were required. I was impressed by this, as he could have easily sold me a new roof both times. They came for the estimate as scheduled and performed the work as scheduled. They will definitely be the one I call when the roof FINALLY needs replacing.

I had three estimates and they were the low price. They showed up on the first day and did their thing all day. A lot of plywood had to be replaced so they had a couple of hours follow up the next day. On the second day, they suddenly just left without notice with about a half hour work yet to be done. I think they ran out of shingles. I had to call the next day when they hadn't show up by 9:30 am. They finished it up that day but if it had rained the previous night, I might have seen leaks because they hadn't finished. Overall, except for that, it went well. They did what they said they were going to do and cleaned up great.

Housetop did a prompt, complete job as promised. They worked with me as to when to do the job always warning that their schedule would be affected by weather. Two Days were set aside for the complete job. Only two hours of the second day were required. The crew took care to protect my property and yet worked rapidly and steadily. The owner stayed right on top of the job, took care of my property, and the well-being of his crew. I am perfectly satisfied and expect to be so as time goes on. I am promised a full 10-year guarantee. Only time will tell if I need it or they will follow through. But, they are a home-town company and I fully expect there to be no problem. A strong point that allowed me to select Housetop even though their estimate was neither the highest or lowest is in addition to their being a hometown company, when the co-owner arrived to estimate, he had copies of all his licenses, permits, and insurance coverage. No other estimator arrived similarly prepared.

THE GUTTERS TURNED OUT VERY GOOD. THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB WITH NO PROBLEMS FROM US OR THEM. THEY WERE ON TIME AND WHEN THEY WERE DONE WITH THE JOB THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES.
