Never showed up for agreed time and date. Then never rescheduled.

I was scheduled for the first available date but to my surprise I was called and asked if they could go and do the work on a Sunday because he knew that it needed to be done before the rain came. I was not able to be there but my neighbor was home to let them into the house if they needed to get in the attic. They replaced some rotten wood and completed the work in a timely manner. Robert is one of the owner's and was on site the entire time. They clean up the entire yard and make sure there are no nails left in the yard. They guarantee their work and told me that when I sold the home that the warranty would pass to the new owners. I have always been impressed with their work and the fact that one of the owner's is present during the work. I recommended them to some of my neighbors after we had a hale storm in our area that damaged several neighbor's roofs. We were all pleased with the response time and the work that they did. They even came in under what the insurance company said that they would pay. I highly recommend them for any roofing needs.

These guys really did a nice job - starting from the estimate, planning, and job execution. Local company that came across very candid and easy to do business with. The job foreman was very informative and helpful when a few surprises surfaced (rotten wood) was very clear on additional costs, etc. Very fair. Finished in less than 2 days. I would recommend them highly.

The crew arrived at approx 12:30 after completing a job from the previous day. I was concerned they would not get mine completed, but they did! They were quick and efficient, hand nailed all of the shingles and kept everything picked up. The members of the crew were nice and respectable. They stayed until around 7:00pm on a Friday and completed my roof. The owner's brother was on site the whole time. The cost was close to the estimated value and I was very pleased, my roof looks wonderful! I highly recommend Housetop, they are good people.

A trusted handyman recommended Housetop Roofers to me when I mentioned needing a new roof. An appointment was made and Robert came out and gave me an estimate for replacing our roof. The $7500 estimate included replacing a skylight and adding a drip edge and ridge vent on our 2000 square foot ranch. I was very impressed with Robert?s detailed explanation and also that there was absolutely no pressure to do business with them. (can?t say that for the other roofers I got estimates from) After checking Angie?s List, the BBB, and other references, the work was scheduled for the second week in February, the very day of the snow storm. The office manager (Debbie) called me every day to give me an update on rescheduling and finally the weather cleared and work began this week. The crew (12+ workers) arrived early on the scheduled day and after removing the old shingles, it was evident that there was extensive wood rot and much of the plywood needed to be replaced. I opted to have them replace all of the plywood (an additional $4000). I thought this would add considerably to the time to complete the job but they were still able to finish it in just a little over one day. Throughout the day, the supervisor (Billy Joe) would periodically keep me apprised of exactly what was being done, especially when they ran into some unexpected problems with the skylight installation. Every shrub, flower, and outside object had been carefully covered and protected while they worked. When finished, they cleaned up so well, you wouldn?t have known that they had been here. Have yet to see a nail anywhere. I am definitely well satisfied with the job that Housetop did for me. The fit and finish, especially around the chimney, is really a work of art. I feel that their price was fair as it was considerably lower than one estimate I got from a well known area roofer. I would definitely recommend that you consider Housetop for your roofing replacement. Estimates are free so it won?t cost you anything to see what they can do for you.

This is a work in progress. Housetop was very responsive and prompt. Robert came out and went over my options for repair and correction. Leaks in roof were repaired, new roof and siding repairs will be done at the end of January. Will write a follow=up review when the work is done. So far, I am very impressed.

He was very honest and willing to offer me good advice which was very helpful. He saved me about $1600 because I was going to use another company which he advised me I did not need to do. His workers showed up on time and did a very good and thorough job. I was very pleased with the service. I would highly recommend this company.

It was a pleasant experience with this company. I had them come out to do an estimate and they were able to give me the estimate and finish the job on that same day. I felt it was done professionally and I appreciated their quick response. They took care of the job and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend them to others in my area.

Their prices seemed a little bit high, but he did excellent work. The quality of workmanship to be real honest. I was on the roof the whole time that they did their work and the two gentlemen that came out and did the work were what I would call craftsman. I had had a prior roofer theoretically fix the flashing and all he basically did was put extra caulking on it an these people cut into the actual brick of the chimney, placed the sheet metal in there and formed it up and tied it up with the roof line. They did a very good job. I was pretty impressed. I don't see much of that down here in the south when it comes to chimney work.

David and crew showed up on time and ready to work. Had 2 co-workers with him the first day. Those guys really worked fast and hard. Quality was excellent. He and one other worker came the next 2 days and finished up on time. All the old wood and extra wood was picked up and hauled away. Guys were extremely polite. Screen wire was installed in segments, custom made for each area. Therefore, could just replace each section as needed and not the entire screen in the future. I've had Robert and his company do other work for me before and have been very pleased. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Hired to clean and install gutter guards on my newly purchased home. Upon inspection, due to original gutters being installed improperly and previous owners poor upkeep, it was determined everything had to be tore out and replaced. Although the daily punctuality was not to my liking, the work was done in a very professional manner and the installation was done very well. The original price for the gutter guards was a bit higher than others, but I was able to negotiate with them. Because they worked with me on the original price, and because of their professionalism, I went with them on the full job without getting other quotes because it seemed reasonable and I just wanted to get it done because of my personal schedule, I didn't want more damage to occur and since it was an expense I wasn't counting on, I didn't want to think about it much. I will certainly consider them when it comes time to replace the roof.

I recently was in need of a new roof. So I joined Angie's List in search of a trustworthy roofing company. I was very impressed on how informative Housetop Roofing's listing was. I called them for an appointment and spoke directly with a person (No answering service). I met with the owner Robert Williams and he was a delight. When the roof was installed I was amazed with the crew. They started and finished my roof in one day. There was no trash left behind for me to pick up. My new roof looks beautiful. If your looking for a competence roofing company that only hand nails their roofs I recommend Housetop Roofing. My neighbor is also having them replace their roof later this month.

They were consistent; that's all the ratings they got. They were excellent. This company patched my roof at no charge so the rain could not get in first because they could not begin the overall new roofing project. They came back when they said they would and got it done in one day. The crew cleaned up well and we had no problems. I highly recommend them.

I could have not asked for better service. The owner showed up at the appointed day and time to give me an estimate. He presented me with a job description, a copy of the workers comp insurance he carries on his crew, a sample folder of the shingles he used, and the names of several people in the area he had done work for. When I told Robert I wanted a color he didn't offer, he sent Larry to my house with more choices in brands and color. Debbie (runs the office) made it a point to ask what dates would be convenient for me to have the job done. Billy Joe (foreman and Robert's brother) showed up at the appointed day and time. Having this man on the job was so great because when I had any questions I knew exactly who to ask. The roof was put on, everything -and I mean everything- was cleaned up before the job was considered completed. This company does other home improvements, like painting and home improvements. I intend to call them back this spring to paint my house!

Original estimate of approximately $6200 was for roofing only. It became obvious that all the roof decking on the house needed to be replaced, and that accounted for the additional cost. They also replaced some rafters that were warped, which greatly improved the appearance of the new roof. The crew arrived up at 7:00 AM, and in spite of all the unexpected work, they were finished, cleaned up, and gone by 7:30 PM. I was delighted.

After we experienced hail damage on our roof we spoke with several roofers in the area. After receiving the estimate and speaking with Housetop we chose them to replace our damaged roof and we couldn't be happier. There where other roofing companies that came through our neighborhood after the storm - thank God we found out how they really do business before we hired any of them. Housetop Roofing is local and the owners are as down to earth and honest as you can get. They told us that they would be at our house to begin work at 7 am. They were there right at 7 on the dot and it was such fun to watch them as the day went on. They have a system and it shows in the quality of their work. They are organized - they got out of their trucks and everybody had a spot and a task to do. They went about it and cleaned up as they were working. You can tell that the workers are treated well by their employer - they take great pride in their work and it shows just look at our new roof! Before you sign any papers with any company I would highly recommend that you contact Housetop and speak with Robert or Billy Joe. You will get the best price, total honesty and absolutely the best final outcome you can imagine. They will not let you down.

They were friendly and responsive. Were on the job within 2 days of the estimate. Arrived on time and went right to work. I could see a difference just from observing from the ground. The flashing in particular was done very neatly and we have had no problems since. Debbie at the office was friendly and very professional to work with. Would definitely call them again for any gutter or roofing needs.

Excellent. Came to quote the same day. Explained all the details I asked about. Replaced it 2 days later with top of the line product. All of the people I talked to were very polite and professional. All of them. They do not do the interior trim, but the replacement was so clean.....even I can do that! Ron
