THE GREER SERVICE TECH CAME OUT AND RESOLVED THE PROBLEM.

Everything went well, couldn't be happier. The only thing I wish that I did was figure it out sooner, I have been perplexed for almost 4 years, every time I think i figured out the error codes, it seemed to work but then the problem came back. I even had another company who is licensed to install these products look at it and they didn't have a clue to what was wrong. This is one reason why I will not go anywhere else for repair on my HVAC system. Greer is very good in all aspects of there business, from customer service to installation and repair of equipment. I do wish i knew who installed the unit in the first place, but because I bought the home after it had been in the house for 4 years there is no way of knowing. To think that it had been not functioning correctly for 7-8 years, is mind boggling. Thanks again Kimberly, Dave, and Norm. I will continue to look to you when future issues arise.

He cleaned out the tubing and where I had a leak and refilled the fluids. The unit has been working better and it ended up not being as big of a deal as I thought. He was very personable and did a great job.

Called in the morning because my heater stopped working overnight. They responded quickly and said they could come in the afternoon. Called me about an hour before they came over to give me time to leave work and get home. The technician diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue within a matter of minutes.... a faulty capacitor. The technician also educated me and gave me some tips, based on my specific unit, of what to check in the future if anything were to not operate properly. The price of the visit/fix was incredibly reasonable. I know this because I have had a capacitor replaced on another unit by a different service company at almost three times the cost. (I won't name the other company by name but it is an Angie's List highly rated HVAC company... so be sure to do your homework.) I would recommend Greer's to anyone and will be a loyal customer of theirs from here on out.

Everything went great. Dave, crew and the office were all were timely, professional, helpful and polite. They offered and installed a temporary cooling unit while the new HP installation was on-going. This really helped me out. The price quote wasn't the lowest I received but after meeting with them I had more confidence in these guys. The quote was the most detailed and clearest of three quotes I obtained before selecting a contractor for the job. I appreciated the clarity and detail because I felt I wouldn't be surprised with other charges and I wasn't. I like to support local small business when I can so the fact that they are a local family owned operated business was a plus for me. Also they were highly recommended to me by a friend/acquaintance who is a long time client of Greer's Service. I put there nbr in my phone and I'm looking forward to having someone I can call and have an on-going relationship with for heat & air conditioning repair and service. I hope this helps.

He arrived on time and quickly identified the problem. He had to work in extremely hot conditions, but worked quickly and resolved the problem. He was very good at explaining my options and I felt that he was reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend and use him again.

Three years ago Greers installed a new heating/AC unit in our home. We payed over $7000 for the unit and installation. It stopped working last week, so we called them again to come check things out. The part that broke was still under factory warranty, so we were told that it would be free. We were also informed that labor to install the part would be $700. We were very disappointed that after spending top dollar to have this unit installed Greer's did not stand behind their work and take responsibility for these issues.

They were absolutely fabulous. They did a great job. They show up on time. They do a great job. They charge a fair price. It's a family business.

The service went well. We had some issues with building permits but that seems to have been worked out now. They were punctual everyday and they did all the work within four days. The price was average compared to other estimates that I had gotten. We are thrilled with the air conditioner.

Always on time, and so professional. I knew they were great when a much larger company came out 10 years ago to look at the unit and told me it was $2500 to fix/replace it and they came out and fixed it for $80. It never broke again and i never called anyone else since. We moved out of the country for 2 years and i had them do the maintenance on all of the units when i was gone and the tenants were very impressed with their service level and how they came and went on time and never bothered anyone.

It was a simple repair in a difficult place to reach which ended up with two visits to find someone that could physically fit in the space. Everyone was punctual and professional. I would call them again.

Another service man wanted to charge us $1500 to replace a lot of the drainage system. Greer came in and gave it a good cleaning and it is good as new. We would highly recommend them.

and then to Knightdale, several hours of travel time to get the part and returned the next day to finish. I know that some repair persons would have jumped at the opportunity to replace the heat exchanger or even to suggest to replace the whole system since it is 18 years old, but he fixed the system for a very resonable price.

They were referred to me by a neighbor. They are well known for doing exactly what needs to be done and not embellishing it. What stood out about them is their availability. They went out of their way to come out. They were busy, but they came out to take a look. They were thorough and they cleaned up their mess.

Dave came out looked at the size of the room, and made a recommendation. His quote for the system and install was right in line with others, if not better. They came out installed it which included cutting a hole in the side of the house. Within a couple of hours, the unit was up and running. They did a great job. I enjoyed working with them. The unit is a real nice match for the room.

He was excellent. He was the only one that responded and actually came like he promised. I was very thrilled that I got him as it was a Sunday. He was very good and very helpful. I am sure that his price was fine and in the norm.

They can do it all. I have been working with them for over 35 years. They are a family owner operation, and they have been amazing.

I have been using them for a long time. They are a service-related business and they come out really quickly. They are honest and provide great value.

Greer was great. Our compressor stilled used freon and the new ones don't. If we couldn't find a new one which used freon, we were looking at a totally new air conditioning system. Even though it was the weekend, Greer started searching the country for a compressor. They found the only compressor on the East Coast which still used freon, had it shipped here and by Tuesday afternoon we had air conditioning again. They couldn't have been nicer and were very professional. We would definitely use them again.

Our air conditioner broke Saturday morning. Greer was there at 11:00am. They determined that our compressor suffered from catastrophic failure. The problem was our air conditioner used freon as a coolant and the new ones don't. Greer searched and found on Monday the only freon compressor on the East Coast. After we agreed to it, they had the compressor trucked on Tuesday and installed it that afternoon. With temperatures in the 90s we really appreciated it. Employees were very professional. Will use them again.

They have been in business for a long time and they are a family owned business, so when you get them you know who you are going to get. You are going to get 1 of 3 people. I like the fact that they responded very quickly, I like that they have been in business for a fair amount of time and I liked that I knew who would be working in the house.

Norm came, brought his tools in, examined the furnace and diagnosed a defective hot surface igniter, then replaced it promptly. I was in and out of the work area and provided some assistance to operate the thermostat during diagnosis. The bill arrived a few days later.
