I was impressed with Melvin, who came to the house to talk about their service in replacing the windows. He came on time and was very informative about the process of replacing the glass. Gave us the option of taking them out ourselves and driving them to their place of business, or them coming out to take them out, drive them to the workplace, and then bring them back. We opted to pop them out ourselves, drive them to Glass Doctor, and then put them back in, as it would save us about $100. They were done within 2 hours, the time they had told us they would be done, then I went to pick them up. So, this was the first time we had experienced Glass Doctor's service. Then, we had a rock shatter one of our car windows. I had Glass Doctor do the job. Equally impressed in their work. I have had no problems with the replacement car window. Then this most recent time, when we had three more sashes replaced, and I was there to pick them up to bring them home, I was told that one of the sashes was defective, in that the manufacturer had sent them a product that had fingerprints on the lattice work in between the two panes, so they would order another one, and then come out to my house to fit it in the frame. I might have never noticed the fingerprints, so I was glad they said something about it. They came to the house the day and hour and minute they said they would be there. Very courteous and professional. The worker also helped me fit in one of the sashes that my husband and I just couldn't seem to get right. I also pointed out some trim on the window that was cracked. It might have been that way before, we might have cracked it ourselves in all the handling of the sash, or Glass Doctor may have cracked it. Nevertheless, they came out the following day with a piece of trim to replace the cracked one. No charge. Great service. All these times I was dealing with someone at Glass Doctor who was calling to make sure of appt times, when materials would be in, when the workers would be here, etc, so I never felt like I was not clear on what, where, and when. I wish more companies operated like this.

Customer service was great from making the appointment, through getting the estimate, and then having the work done.

I called their service phone line last week, was told that they serve Chapel Hill area only on Tuesdays. I told them that I'm available only in the afternoon. I was told that they would call me the day before to let me know the time of service. They made me wait a week and just told me today that they cannot serve my address in the afternoon. I'm in contract to purchase a house and my due diligence period is ending this week. I relied on Glass doctor and waited for a week and this proved to be a big mistake. I did not receive any service so I cannot comment on the quality of your work, but if you need a reliable company, I recommend that you look elsewhere

Glass doctor beat all other quotes and did a fine job. Technician was professional and courteous. To get the best price they asked me to come to their location rather than to my house which was fine as they were fairly close to my home.

They came out to determine which kind of a pet door could be installed. They measured, ordered the insert glass replacement necessary to accommodate the pet door and then installed the pet door.

It was fine. It worked out really well. We had looked at fixing a window that had failed. They came in and gave me an estimate to fix and update it - take the window apart and put it back together and put new glass in. So they measured it and they came back. The installers were different than the guys who measured it. So when they came in with the glass, they noticed that the tint of the glass that they had in their truck was a wrong tint. So they could have just put it in and I probably would have not realized it. But they said, "No. This glass is not the right tint. So we'll reorder and bring it back." So they did. Actually, the stuff they put in was more expensive than the original estimate. They still gave me the price that they quoted.

It went great, fast, and he cleaned up after himself! Nice, friendly technician. I would definitely use these folks again.

They came out and did an inspection and took measurements. About three or four days later, they came out to install. Install was quick and efficient.

The Glass Doctor really did fix my panes. I liked the folks I spoke with over the phone. They kept me informed about cost and when they would arrive. Overall, a great experience. The only "knock" I could give them is that the crew arrived 30 minutes later they said they would. The crew was very nice. They were conscientious about wiping their feet before coming in the house. The three pieces of glass were made well. The guys cleaned the glass well. And they were in and out very expeditiously. I would use the Glass Doctor again in a heartbeat.

After months of dealing with one contractor after another with absolutely no success...Glass Doctor basically said...no problem. These guys did everything they said they would do. It was an efficient and easy remedy to what others seemed baffled by. Thanks Glass Doctors!!!

The person doing the work called in advance, arrived promptly, had all the tools and skills needed to repair the window and storm window quickly and efficiently.

They had the best price of a few quotes. The person who installed the window was professional and quick. The only negative was that it took over two weeks for them to come out after we ordered the glass.

They were very professional and curtious. They delivered the glass ahead of schedule. The young man, Chris that replaced our portrait window that the seal broke on was harder to get in and out. Chris got it all put back together in a reasonable time and I barely had to touch up any paint he did such a good job. Oh and did I mention he swept up after himself which a lot of contractors don't. I was very impressed and highly recommend them.

The job was great. It was my first time using them. They were polite, efficient and got the work done. I got a good value for my money.

The owner was very upfront and honest. He said he was backed up due to the freezing weather, but said he'd call me at the beginning of the next week. Like clockwork, he called, came out and repaired my windshield while I was at work, returned the keys where requested and left a note. He did a great job.

The work was performed quickly and the windshield is fine! The windshield is new (not recycled) and the cost was less than all other companies I contacted.

I took my measurements to them for replacement glass shelves in my china cabinet that were broken during a recent move. I was a walk in customer. The shelves were fine and fit very well. I just thought they were a bit high price wise.

They give really good estimates and are always very timely.

I had another company(Glass master) install a new windshield in my Camry about a year ago. I had Nemours air and water leaks with it. Glass master was a nightmare to deal with so finally I decided to try another company. Fortunately I found Glass doctor! They were professional ,courteous and genuinely seem to care about their customers. After Glass doctor's installation Evan explained why I was having trouble. When the last company installed the glass they did not remove the plastic piece that runs underneath the windshield wipers that runs the length of the bottom of the windshield when they installed the glass. This caused the sealant to get pushed out at the bottom of the windshield leaving little to no sealant which caused air and water leaks. Evan explained how they properly installed the new windshield and the excellent warranties they provide for free. Over all I am very happy with Glass doctor and will defiantly recommend them to family and friends!

Saved money by carrying the top frame of the vegetable bins to them. Have been satisfied with the result.

When initally called they wer very prompt in coming out and able to pinpoint issue. It took a long time for the four hinges to arrive because according to them , it was place with another order that was back ordered. I called after one week after order was placed (on a Friday) and was told I would be called back that afternoon with an update. No call back -so I called on the following Tuesday and was then told about the back ordered item holdup. Very apologetic . Date was set for installation and they arrived on time and the job was done in 20 minutes -\. But because it took two men to do the charge was for 2 men ,\ one hour rate of $210.00. I think this was excessive cost for a very simple job.
