The estimator arrived precisely on time. He was very professional and polite. He carefully measured both pieces of glass and gave us the estimate. There was no pressure to decide on the spot. In fact, it was the opposite. We felt the price was reasonable and gave him a credit card. You pay half the cost up front to order the glass. The remainder is paid at installation. The estimator said it would take 2 - 3 weeks for the glass to come in, then someone would call to schedule the installation. The only thing close to a problem was that after about 4 weeks, no one had called. Not a big deal. We picked up the phone and called them to schedule the installation. The installer was also very professional and pleasant. It took about 1 1/2 hours and he kept us informed the whole way. At the end, he brought in a vacuum cleaner to clean up the small amount of debris below each window. He made a point to show us a tiny cut in the wood frame of one of the windows that he had made. It was so small we would have never noticed it. But I appreciated the fact that he wanted to let me know about it. All in all, one of the best experiences I've ever had with a contractor! I would not hesitate to use them again!

Quite surprised that they insist that I pay a fee for the estimate. I have contacted other companies through Angie's List in Raleigh and none have demanded estimate charge. Seems this company also has a questionable reputation with it's competitors as I am learning with the estimates I am obtaining. Lack of interest in a large contract without a competitive spirit seems questionable. Buyer beware.

Installation went very well and all were professional and knowledgeable. Price seemed a bit high to me but they did a great job so no complaints.

I called The GlassDoctor number. Around 10:30 a.m. On Tuesday, September 29. Christy listened to my explanation, got the details about my car and the exact window that was smashed. She called my insurance company and stayed on the line while I gave them my information and determined that my insurance would pay the entire bill. Then she checked to see if they had that window in stock. She learned that particular window had been ordered and would arrive Thursday. I explained that I needed my car for a funeral on Thursday. She had Chris, the manager of the glass division, call me. He told me they would check to see if they could get the window from a source in our area. Later, he called to say they had found the glass. My insurance company refused to pay the higher price, but GlassDoctor purchased the window at the higher price and did not pass the extra on to me. I was told to expect an installer that afternoon. Corey,my installer, arrived and went right to work. He replaced the window and vacuumed up the broken glass inside the car. He gave a statement of what was done, a warranty, and all their contact information He was professional and very pleasant. The whole process took a little less than two hours. From my initial call this morning to my conversations with the department head who called me twice, to my hardworking installer who began the process in the rain,, I was treated in a friendly professional manner. They went above and beyond what they could be expected to do. They treat their customers the way they would want to be treated. My truck windshield had a gravel damage about the size of a pea on the passenger side. I took it into Glass Doctor and they said if they repaired it, the crack would continue to spread. I didn?t have comprehensive insurance so I had to pay for a new windshield myself. The person I talked to made a big point that if they replaced the windshield, it had a 1 year warranty and they would replace it, regardless of the cause of any future damage. There was new wind noise at the top of the windshield after they replaced it. I went back and asked about the noise. They said the windshield was sealed from all water and, after questioning, said they reused the original gasket instead of putting in a new one. Three months later, I had another gravel damage near the fist crack, but larger the second time. I took it back to Glass Doctor and now they said the crack can be repaired, which they did. So, I paid for a new windshield that I didn?t need and the replacement is more noisy.

They were very responsive in scheduling the service and locating the proper glass for my vehicle. There were some initial problems locating the correct glass for my vehicle but when that arrived sooner than expected they contacted me and re-scheduled the installation to an earlier date and time. The tech arrived and performed the work in a timely fashion and did a good, clean job overall. I would use them again.

Everything went well. No complaints. They are a good company. They are readily available to answer questions. The technician that came has been doing it for 30 years and was very skilled in his trade.

Glass Doctor was actually the second vendor we called to replace the glass in our broken window. We initially called Rice's Glass Company, but after they came out and provided an estimate we never heard from them again. A gentleman from Glass Doctor came out and quoted us a price to replace the glass that was $150 less than what Rice's Glass quoted us and we never provided him information about the initial quote. I paid a 50% deposit to place the order and received a call to schedule the installation a couple of weeks later. Glass Doctor was very responsive and followed through we everything that they said. Everyone that I spoke with was very polite and professional. I would definitely use Glass Doctor again in the future.

It went very well. We were very satisfied. He arrived on time, completed the service in a reasonable time and we were able to get our van back on the road.

A window glass in one of our double hung windows was broken during snow storms in February. Window unit approximately twelve years old. One side of double pane glass was not damaged so repair was not an emergency. I contacted Glass Doctor office and was offered a free estimate at our house or I could bring the sash in if convenient to save some repair cost. I was also offered a discount either way for Angie's List connection. I took sash by their place, they measured it, and gave me quote which I accepted. I then I brought the sash back the following week for replacement. All done very professionally and I will not hesitate to use them in the future.

This was the second time we used the company for this type of work, so being a repeat customer should speak for itself. We did have one issue with some glass that had an imperfection on it from the subcontractor who treated it. The company worked with the subcontractor and gave us the option of a discount or an entire replacement of the piece in question. They did right by us.

Not having dealt with Glass Doctor before, I was mentally prepared for a hurried shoddy job by a minimally experienced technician. To my surprise, the technician (Corey Benjamin) had 16 years experience and it was very evident. I am extremely particular about my vehicle and was so concerned about getting a low quality result that I researched the all the details before his arrival. Upon meeting Corey I asked him about a number of nuances that I was aware of. Corey answered my questions with professionalism and offered additional information that proved he had done replacements in my vehicle before. I watched every step of the process and Corey was super patient with me without missing a beat on the install. He certainly earned my loyalty in the 1 hr 15 min it took to complete the job.

We had an extra glass panel installed in our shower to prevent water splashing. The owner came out to take the initial measurements for our quote. He was very thorough, taking measurements twice to account for some uneven tiles and general shifting of our house over time. The quote came back in the range we were initially given. They were courteous and helpful with adding on a towel bar and offering coupons to lower the price. The two installation specialist that came were on time and professional. They did a great job and answered all of our questions. Our glass panel has been installed a few months now and we've had no problems.

He cut the piece perfectly to fit into the recessed table top. But this review is more about the service. I had called about having it done and he said he could do it in about 4 days. I told him I had to leave town with it the next day, so he, without hesitation, told me to come on in with it and he would fit me in. I went, and in less than 45 minutes, I had what I needed and left. The work was well done too. The staff in the office, and the technician were very friendly and gave it their full attention, despite the fact that this was a very small, inexpensive job.

These guys were great! They came by, measured, discussed the different options, and answered all of our questions and concerns. We had one issue with a fit on the desktop. They came back and trimmed the glass to fit correctly. The owner, Ramon, was very helpful and did what they said they would do. The only issue I had was a slight delay in communications which, frankly, was not a problem at all. Would highly recommend them.

We asked three companies to quote the installation of a glass shower enclosure in our master bathroom. Glass Doctor made the most careful measurements and asked the most questions from us before giving us a quote. The price on all three quotes were very similar, but we decided to go with Glass Doctor 1) because they were most meticulous about the measurements and 2) they followed up with a phone call about a week after the quote was delivered. The installers were on time, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. The shower enclosure looks great!

Everything went well. Called to confirm, prompt arrival, measured and then scheduled to return with the right part. Fully satisfied.

The two man team arrived promptly at the schedule time. Polite and courteous the men executed on the expectations agreed to prior to engaging the contract. Easy engagement, effective communication, and job performed at expectations. Highly recommend!

From initial contact to final installation, our experience with Glass Doctor was nothing less than outstanding and extremely professional. The estimator arrived when scheduled, carefully measured our existing window and took all the information required to accurately estimate the job. The office called the very next day with the estimated price. Since we were ordering eGlass, I was invited to the Glass Doctor showroom to examine the actual glass composition and the eGlass tint before the order was placed. The factory utilized by Glass Doctor produced an exact replica of our existing window in less than 7 business days. Installation was scheduled for the very next day after the manufacturer delivered the window to the Glass Doctor facility in Raleigh. On installation day, the 4 man crew arrived ahead of schedule and set straight to work setting up the staging inside our house and removing the existing window. All of the customized trim was meticulously removed and set aside for reuse. Once the window was removed, the cause of the seal failure was plainly evident. When the window was originally installed, the contractor installing the brick molding on the outside of the window, drove two nails through the window seal. Over the intervening years (8) , enough moisture was able to penetrate through the seal to become an issue. Following removal of the old window, the opening was professionally prepared to receive the new window. Since this was a very large window, the teamwork of all 4 men was required to both remove the existing window and install the new window. Once the new window was installed, the custom molding, which was initially removed, was reinstalled and the window was cleaned inside and out. The crew cleaned up all debris and caulking fragments both inside and outside of our home. The entire installation required about 3.5 hours. From start to finish, Glass Doctor was totally awesome.!!! Except for the fact that we had a new window when the crew left, one would never know they had been here. Not a mark on any wall, not a speck of dirt anywhere! Would I use Glass Doctor again, you bet I would!!
