The rep came out to look and informed me that they did not keep the springs my door needed in stock but that they could make them. This seemed reasonable to me and the quote from Garage Door Specialist was lower than the one other company I talked to. They came back out when they said they would (less than a week) and installed the new springs. They were very professional, did what they said they would and I thought the price was good considering the size of my garage door.

They were perfect. They also gave me a lifetime guarantee, which I really liked. He was able to inspect my garage doors and identify the problem immediately. They were also able to split the cost which I really appreciated. They have great customer service and did great work.

They did a great job, came out quickly to do an estimate, described various levels of quality doors available to them, even had an app that showed what the new doors would look like on my house. I had a broken spring on one of my doors (that's why I called them). So for no charge, they fixed the spring when they came out for the estimate so it would work until the the new doors came. They installed on the date they committed, look great and are so much quieter than my old doors.

Great! Our garage door torsion spring went, I called for prices spoke to a nice voice on the phone, then called back to schedule appt. Young man "Frank" showed up, Very nice and clean looking young man. Showed him the problem he got right to work, Appt time from 9-11:00, he was here all of 25-35 mins if that, inspected the door on completion, Gave me some handy tips to keep my door in tip top shape. (getting some wd40 for the squeaky joints" and away he went. Need fast, knowledgeable service like these techs, I was able to finish my work for the day. As i work from home. Prompt, Fast, Courteous, and service with a smile.

I was first quoted $250.00. They then came out to say that we actually needed larger springs which I was okay with. They came out to perform the work and also ended up replacing two end barings that they charged me for without me knowing. I contacted them after the fact to figure out why they did that. We finally agreed they would come back out to show me the old parts that they had replaced and to explain why they needed replacing. They didn't show on the date they said they would come out. I called them again to tell them I was upset and they said they said would come out another date and they still have not showed.

They did a great job at the initial install, but have to say that I am most impressed with their follow up service. They have come out to help us with a few minor issues that we had after the fact without charge. We are now selling our home and the inspection by the buyers asked them to correct two very minor issues. They came out again nearly 3 years later at no charge. The quality of their workmanship is great and their customer service is absolutely outstanding!

From the time Dennis, from the Garage Door Specialist arrived to the time he identified the problem was less than 5 minutes. He showed me the problem and had it fixed in less than 10 minutes. He was very professional and very honest. He could have sold me a new garage door opener, but he made the necessary adjustment, and the door now works fine. I will use this company again should the need arise, and I will recommend this company to friends needing garage door service.

I called Garage Door Specialists at 6:45am when I couldn't get my garage door open. They returned my call at 7:30am - the time listed that the office would open. They promised to get someone to my house between 11 and 1. The service man came about 10:30 and had my door fixed (broken springs) in about half an hour. He was very helpful, explained the warranty and even offered to change the light bulb that was not working. I told him it hadn't been working for several months and we had tried replacing the bulb already. He got up on the ladder, made some adjustments, and voila, there was light! He didn't even charge me extra! I would certainly call them again if I have any more problems with the door.

I called Garage door specialists because I believed my garage door was broken. The door was not broken. Something had come unhooked or something. They fixed the door in a matter of minutes. PLUS oiled and showed me how to maintain my doors. They were fast, honest, polite .. I cant say enough

I called the company in the morning on New Years Eve. They were able to have a technician out that afternoon. The technician inspected both doors for any potential issues beyond the broken spring we called them about. He gave me pricing on repairing the broken spring as well as pricing on upgrading to a torsion bar system instead of replacing the springs. After answering many questions about the torsion bar system and the spring system, I decided to upgrade both doors to a torsion bar system. The technician was not pushy and did not come off as trying to upsell me to the torsion bar system. I appreciated his honesty and patience answering all my questions. He worked quickly to change out the systems on both doors. The technician also gave the entire door system a once over with grease and made adjustments to get it running as good as possible. Without hesitation, I will be using Garage Door Specialist for garage door repairs and maintenance in the future.

He came out the day I called on a Saturday evening and had someone there to fix it Monday, which made wife really happy since she parks in the garage. We were in a hurry so we might have over paid but it was a big door 18ft and we really tired of the garage door waking up the kids, so we replaced the drive motor as well. To say it is whisper quiet would not be too big of an exaggeration. If we had more time I probably would have gotten another estimate just to make sure the price was competitive. In all honesty he may have cut me a great deal or I may have overpaid. I really don't know at this point and we really wanted the garage door fixed in a hurry and made much quieter both of which he could do. All in all the quality of the work was good and he was fast and responsive. I would recommend Grand Openings.

They came out to diagnosis the problem and they fixed it. Their service was very good. I called them late on Thursday and they came out the next day. They completed the job before I got home on Friday. I was very pleased within the service. They also left a sticker in my garage with their contact information in case of any problems or questions.

Service was scheduled between 8-10 am. Brian arrived at 9 am promptly went to work. He researched why the garage door would not open or close and discovered the gear system was becoming stripped. He quickly gave me an estimate of the cost to replace, asked if I wanted to replace now or wait as it will still work intermittently. I requested to proceed with the repair. He completed the work in 45 min. Brian was quiet and courteous. I highly recommend Garage Door Specialists and will call them again.

I called around 7:15, left a message, and heard back in less than an hour with an appointment time. The serviceman arrived early, was very professional and helpful, and fixed our door promptly. He accepted my coupon and I wrote a check.

My experience has been good. He was very nice to work with, and was surprised the part had deteriorated that quickly. He was able to get everything repaired within an hour.
