It never happened. called several times. Talked to someone twice and then they quit answering phone and returned no calls. I'll probably be calling the attorney general next.

It went fine. We had to reschedule. Everything went good. I preferred the time that they came out. They cleaned up the debris. I would use them again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and I think they did a good job of cleaning the leaves out of the gutters. It was a good price and they came at their scheduled appointment time. I only really saw them at the end of the job so interaction with the provider was limited. I added $100 to the deal price for some gutter repair. They came within two weeks of the Big Deal purchase.

While it appears the gutters were indeed cleaned no one thought to wash out the downspouts and 3 of them were badly clogged. I had a family member clean them out.

They were thorough and really did a great job cleaning up afterward.

I was not contacted within the time frame established. They then no showed twice. Angie's List tried to get this done - they were not able to get this company out. I am seeking a refund from Angie's List.

The crew came in mid-December and cleaned our the gutters but left much of the pine straw debris from the gutters on the ground. When paid, the crew received a check for $89 ($30 for the additional size of our house plus my wife mistakenly paid them an additional $59 as she didn't realize that payment had already been made to Angie's List.). That evening I immediately called the owner, Adam Easevoli, and informed him of the situation. He stated he would send a reimbursement check that week. It is now one month later and after multiple emails, voice and text messages I have still have not received reimbursement for our overpayment from E&J Roofing. I have contacted Angie's List about the situation but have still not gotten any resolution. I will not use this organization again and will likely be heading to small claims court to request reimbursement for overpayment of services. Extremely disappointed!

Everything was very satisfactory. They were timely and seemed to be honest about what they are doing. They did a good job.

They finally came by, and it worked out fine. I liked the speed of their work, and they were very thorough. It was good to hear from them after a time of not hearing from them. I had made an appointment back early week of December, but they didn't come until this week.

I used this for the Angie's List big deal. I haven't had any contact from the vendor despite multiple attempts to contact them. I would like them to either perform the services or just give back my money. Not happy at all with either this vendor and Angie's List.

Very prompt response and were able to schedule the appointement the same day.

It was a nightmare to coordinate and schedule. The owner seemed overwhelmed w/ the amount of deals they probably sold and couldn't find good help to assist him. Once they arrived (30 days later) - they did a nice job. I appreciate them making it right by not up-charging for additional sq. footage. Since they did that - I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

My first personal contact with the company was December 6, 2013 and the gutters were not done until January 9, 2014. The couple that cleaned the gutters arrived on time (although weeks after I had hoped they would) and did a good job. Had they told me in the first contact that they were scheduling a month out, I would have known what to expect, however I kept sending in dates and times that would work for me and heard nothing for weeks. I think E & J Roofing should not be allowed to have BIG DEALS like this because their history (as I discovered later) is exactly what I experienced. I would've paid more to have a quicker response time.

I bought a $59 Angie's list coupon for a gutter cleaning from E.J. Roofing on Dec. 6, 2013 and, as requested, listed 3 different times within the following week when the service could be performed. The service provider was supposed to contact me within 2 days to schedule the service but I did not receive an email from them until Dec. 11 saying they would "be in touch in the next few days"; they stated that the delay was due to a "high call volume." I called and emailed them several times in the following week trying to find out when they were coming until a man and a woman from EJ Roofing finally showed up at my house without warning on Dec. 19 (almost 2 weeks after I paid for the service) to do the job. However, before they would start the job, they told me it would cost an additional $39 to clean the gutters because of the "pitch" of my roof. There was nothing on the Angie's list contract stating this qualification when I bought the service and I told the man that but he said he had been told by the owner to collect that fee. I considered calling the owner to complain but went ahead and agreed to the terms because (1) I had already paid $59 for the service, (2) it was supposed to rain hard the next day,(3) it had taken 2 weeks for them to get to my house to do the job, and (4) I had had so much trouble getting in touch with the owner (Adam) that I didn't want to delay getting the gutters cleaned any longer. I have never had such a bad experience with any contractor for my house, particularly with regard to changing the terms of the agreement on the cost, and I will never use this company again.

They missed one of the gutters. It was actually the second-easiest to do, in my experience, so I have to assume they just missed it. I would not use them again, this was sloppy work.

We had a slow start with scheduling the service. Apparently the service provider was overwhelmed with customers after posting the "DEAL" and was unable to successfully communicate with potential customers in a timely manner. After some emails and phone tag, we were able to successfully schedule the service. The 2 workers that came to clean the gutters worked hard and did a good job in spite of the freezing cold conditions and the frozen water and leaves in our gutters. They did a good job in cleaning up the debris that was removed from the gutters. Provider needs to work on customer communications, especially when there are scheduling problems.

Steep and high roofing. They were very backed up in work, so it took a bit to respond. When they came, they did an excellent job and blew off the debris from the gutters. I would use them again.

They were on time, very professional, detailed and no mess, cleaned after themselves. Cleaned the gutters and did minor repairs on the roof. We will use them again.

After asking why I had not received a appointment after about a week, I received one email saying he'd been overwhelmed with responses via his discount on Angie's List. My bank account was charged $59 on 12/6. I requested immediate scheduling for service or a refund on 12/26 (other email exchanges happened in between). Still no response. I want my money back IMMEDIATELY. This is the second time I've had significant scheduling or performance issues with vendors not prepared to service an Angie's list discount offering. Angie's List: you need to screen your vendors.

I purchased a Big Deal from Angie's and the provider didn't contact me for over a week, despite several urgent emails. When he did contact me via Angie's List, he indicated that he had been overwhelmed with the # of responses he'd gotten from the Big Deal. I requested a scheduled appointment at one of several times, but didn't get a response for several days (until after the requested times). Finally, after threatening to get a refund and canceling the deal, I did get a time scheduled (after my initial window had passed). On the day of the service, the provider called and indicated that he would be 30 minutes late. He then called back an hour after the new time and indicated that he'd gotten lost and would be at my house "soon." He arrived another 30 minutes later. During the cleaning, the team mis-adjusted the ladder they were using to climb on to the roof and it retracted suddenly, falling down and striking the large window over my front door with considerable force. As far as I can tell, though, there was no damage and the team member had not yet started to climb up, so there was no physical damage to him. He cleaned my gutters using a blower, but indicated that he was unable to clean some parts because the gutter contained debris frozen in place with ice. Because I wasn't on the roof, I couldn't tell how much of the gutters were not cleaned. The team did blow most of the debris from the gutters off my walk and porch, but asked if they could leave the debris that fell in the yard as is (which I agreed to). They didn't move any of the deck furniture prior to blowing the gutters, however, and so all the furniture ended up covered with mud patches that I had to clean myself. Finally, the team left my house without checking in with me, so I wasn't able to confirm the work, approve the state of the clean-up or request any additional cleaning. I will certainly not be using this provider in the future for any service.
