Jim was prompt and courteous in returning my call and came at a time convenient to me. He made the repair I requested - replacing the vent hose - and went above and beyond by caulking around the hole where the vent goes through the wall. Our builder had left a gap all the way around it where drafts and bugs could get in. Jim did a thorough job, cleaned up behind himself, and didn't try to oversell me on something I didn't need - my next vent cleaning was not due yet.

We were extremely happy with the process from start to finish. Jim was very responsive by phone and email, very pleasant and courteous, and prompt. He took his time to make sure he got the job done right, and answered all my questions along the way. It was a pleasure having him in my home. I will certainly call him again next time I need this service.

I contacted Jim via email at approximately 11:00pm one day last week requesting a quote on replacing my old white plastic/vinyl flex dryer vent/duct (which is considered a fire hazard) with dryer vent/duct that meets current standards. My old vent/duct also had other issues on top of the material it was made of. 15 minutes after sending my email I got a reply email from Jim! He stated that he would be able to come do a quote a few days later, and that if I was satisfied with the quote he would be able to do the work right then! We agreed on Tuesday with an arrival time between 9:00 and 10:00am. Tuesday arrived, and Jim called at approximately 9:15am. He stated that he was running a little late and would arrive around 10:15. This was not a problem at all for me and I thought it was great that he called and let me know, as it seems most service providers these days don't call if they're going to be late. He showed up at approximately 10:15 and got right to work checking everything out. He listened to everything I had to say, and actually ended up using a suggestion I had made as to a different way to run the duct. I felt my situation was a little unique, and I was afraid he might tell me that he couldn't do it. Jim worked up a quote, explained everything on the quote, and explained what he would do. I felt the quote was a fair price for the work involved, and he got started right away after I gave the OK. Jim had to cut open my wall to do the replacement. He explained before giving the quote that he would have to do this, and let me know that he doesn't do drywall repairs. This was not an issue for me, as I'm having drywall repair being done elsewhere in the house due to a leak and will just have them fix this as well. I'm no dryer vent expert, but the work Jim did looks really good to me. I don't have a dryer at the moment, but have purchased one that will be arriving soon. Jim told me to give him a call when it arrives, and said he would come back and hook it up for me and check the airflow. Jim was very professional, friendly, and courteous and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again in the future!

I have been very, very happy with this service. I am not sure of the date of work with our family's life being disorganized and procrastination. Unbelievably we had problems for probably two years with the clothes not drying to the extent that we probably needlessly bought another dryer. Shortly after that a handyman neighbor cleared it out and propped up the venting and it worked for while, but then it reverted back. We then brought in someone off Angie's list and he worked really hard, was nice and professional. This cost us about $375. The work seemed hard for him and he wasn't really adept. He left after he thoroughly cleaned out the vent but acknowledged that the speed of the airflow was very low. He attributed this to the lengthy venting required. It was better for a while, but then became bad. We called this company off Angie's list and I explained the problem and my low expectations that we would just have to live with slow drying and very frequent cleaning of the venting. I saw him look at me in a very respectful way but a clear thought that I just had no idea what I was talking about. I thought to myself okay you'll see. He told me what needed to be done with the expectation of the results and I said go ahead. He fixed it so that the airflow was what it should be. He was right. After not having an efficient dryer for years it has been an emotional high not to have the constant irritation of checking the clothes two or three times and to just forget about it after you put it in. The first guy off the list was really nice and it is hard to write a negative comment when someone is genuinely nice and tries hard. We lost track of who he was since we looked through so many before choosing one off the list. I apologize for this because the only way this list can work is for honest accurate feedback. I put down fair price for this company and it clearly was worth every penny, but I would gladly pay a lot more for the elimination of constant irritation we experienced for years.

Jim stopped by and gave us an estimate in which he explained that it would cost about $90 more to have a whole new installation as opposed to cleaning the existing vent and redoing parts of the vent that weren't up to code. I agreed to the new install and we are extremely satisfied with the results. The drying time for our clothes is now a fraction of what it was before. Jim did a great job and tested everything out before he left. He takes pride in his work and I would recommend him to anyone looking to clean or upgrade their existing dryer vent. This was money well spent as we will save LOTS of money on our electric bills in the future!

I don't remember how much I spent for the work. They did not install the standard aluminum snake that people use for dryer vents. They were very punctual. He called when he was a certain amount of time away from the house. He was very professional and handled the job well. He explained everything that they were doing and explained the ins and outs of everything instead of just coming in and doing the work. I would use them again in the future.

Jim is extremely professional and courteous. He first came here to give me an estimate and explained what needed to be done. He came back another day with his assistant and they worked very carefully for several hours to create a new ventilation system in my home for my dryer vent. They were very neat and professional and followed up with a phone call later to make sure everything was working properly and to please contact them with any questions. Jim really cares about doing the best job and giving his clients the best service. He is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him!

He's a really nice guy and he's real professional. He's not the cheapest, but he's a real nice guy and does a nice job.

Jim was on time.I liked the aire flow test done before and after the cleaning. No nonsense. Just excellent service. And I'm picky!.

Jim and his crew were on time. I had requested an estimate and they were right on target. Jim explained everything they were going to do, in detail, so there were no surprises. He came prepared to do the work so I didn't have to wait to get another appointment. Although they ran into several problems, they "stuck with it" and completed the jpb. When they were finished everything was put into order and clean.

We were impressed with the range or services available to anyone conserned with dryer venting. While more comprehensive services at a higher fee were offered, there was not attempt to sell the additional services.

They did a very good job on the work, but they were very professional and thorough. They called before they came and came out early. I will definitely use them again.

He was excellent. He was a very good guy and did great work. If you are having any problems with your dryer venting he is the guy to call. I though he did a great job!

Jim showed up on time and stayed until the job was done. Took him a few hours. He took care of everything (neat and very professional -- and very nice). He did an excellent job. Highly recommend Jim at Dryer Vent Wizard. And just FYI - what was taking hours to dry now takes minutes! Sure we got a new dryer too and that's part of it; but Jim's efforts really added to our electrical savings -- and our safety.

Jim is awesome. Super friendly, on time. Did quality work with minimal damage to drywall, etc. Would highly recommend to anyone with dryer problems.

He was a little bit late for the scheduled time, but he called early enough for me to work around the delay. Jim was very nice, explained exactly what would be done, and ensured that everything was done the way I expected. Removal of the old vent and installation of the new vent took about four hours.
