Description of Work: Let me first say that I had originally booked with another dryer vent cleaning company recommended by Angie's List via email a month in advance. When I emailed to confirm with the prior dryer vent cleaning company, they informed me that they would not be able to do it that day, did not offer another day, which left me bitter and needing the dryer vent cleaned out asap. So I looked up the Dryer Vent Wizard and they offered being there in two days! They also,to my joy, sent a follow up email confirmation of the time and date of appointment. The guy was on time, pleasant and joy to work with. He got the job done without complaints, despite it being in the afternoon when heat index was 105! I highly recommend this company and plan on using them again.

Description of Work: Cleaned out my dryer ventilation system. Installed a more direct venting system. Hard piped all venting and tested dryer performance. Jim was very nice and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend him for dryer venting services!

Description of Work: Jim has been to my house before to clean out my dryer vent lines which hadn't been done in years when we bought the house. He is very kind, professional, and great at his job. There were "deals" to have the vents cleaned for cheaper than his price, but I knew he was reliable and would do a great job.

Description of Work: Put a new attachment between dryer and wall (this was like 180 of the total amount); then cleaned all the venting from wall to outside. |He was on time, very professional and polite, dressed professionally, very thorough, didn't act rushed or put out, hardworking. He offered to talk to my husband via phone to answer any questions my husband had about the work being done (my DH called while he was there working and I was updating my husband). As a woman, I felt comfortable with him and he explained things to me, answered my questions (didn't treat me like an idiot as some repairmen try). I was very pleased.

Description of Work: Jim had given me a noon to 4pm window, but arrived precisely at noon, He understood the task, measured, and gave me an estimate. He installed a UL certified dryer vent in my crawl space and a connection to the dryer in the laundry room, replacing old plastic venting. He then measured the vent throughput to be sure it was correct. Jim was extremely conscientious. I was getting a new washer/dryer, but still had the old one. I told him I wanted to switch their positions and he tried to do it, but in the end could not because the hoses were not long enough. But he made sure the new vent would work for the new position. Trying to move the washer/dryer was above and beyond what he was contracted to do. He also told me that since it was a fairly short and direct run, it would probably never need cleaning. I highly recommend him for dryer vent install, and am sure he is equally competent and honest when duct cleaning is required.

Description of Work: They put in a new dryer vent. The guy said it would work ten times better than the old arrangement, and he was right. I guess I have almost saved the cost by having to run my dryer less.
