Said they fixed our heat pump but it will not heat now...

This company was a pleasure to work with from the initial call to set up the appointment to the service call. The woman I spoke with to set up the appt was very pleasant and ensured that I knew to call back with model info on my dishwasher so the service rep could be prepared. The service rep called when he was on his way. He arrived on time and identified the problem. It was a quick fix and we only paid the service fee which he made sure we understood would not be charged again if he had to return for the same problem. I have the business card for this company and would definitely call them again.

I hadn't had an appliance repaired in some time so I wasn't prepared for the experience. Our dryer belt broke and we needed service in a reasonable amount of time. A couple of companies quoted 10 days for a service call, one had trouble understanding English and another didn't return my call. Talley returned my call when I was on the phone scheduling the appointment with DK. I would have used Mr. Talley had he returned my call ten minutes sooner. DK returned my call promptly and was at our home to repair the dryer the next day. Kris was professional, courteous and repaired the dryer in a short period of time. The only minor complaint from my wife was lint left on the floor during replacement of the dryer duct.

The initial service call was handled very well and installation will be scheduled once parts are here.

Great communication. Triaged the situation well. Replaced bad part with better quality one and bill was very reasonable.

I could never get anyone on the phone during business hours and never got a return call after leaving 2 messages.

The technician showed up in time, polite, better yet he call me one hour ahead of time so I can be home to meet him. He plugged the washer back into the wall and listened to the beep. Then he went outside and called for help or advice. He came back inside and promised to call me back in an hour and a half. The dispatch call after two days to tell me that they don't now what is wrong with my washer and to wish me good luck in this endeavor.

The first attempt at fixing the refrigerator was a $250 bill, with no results -- i.e., the fridge never cooled back down. The 2nd attempt he came back our and fixed it again at no extra charge - he said his gauges were broke and he didn't realize until a few jobs later. The third attempt he couldn't figure out why the filter dryer kept getting plugged up (we were on our 4th one at this point) and we decided to not go with another repair and just get a new appliance. Overall, they were professional, on-time and responsive; however, at the end of the day they just didn't get the job done.

Freezer not freezing; freezer door wouldn't close! DK appliance fixed the doors fast! UPDATE: 48 hours later and freezer still isn't freezing. Sent message and was told it would be another $225 to fix sealed system. No apology. No possibility of applying $65 service charge to lower the price. Unable to come fix it until next week. From my vantage point I scheduled a chunk of time and paid money to have my freezer fixed. The job still isn't done. DK Appliance Repair is unwilling to flex on the price or scheduling to come complete the job.

I called DK Appliance a couple or so weeks ago to get the ball rolling on a couple of repairs I needed done. My dryer was collecting water and my built-in microwave ran, but didn't heat. Dawn promptly set up an appointment for me fitting my schedule. The service technician was prompt and explained everything he was doing as he went along. My dryer was a venting issue to the outside and I had to call an HVAC company to fix. But he checked everything. Took the dryer apart, cleaned the lint out, was very thorough. On the microwave it was the magnetron that had gone bad (which I had dangerously Googled what the problem could be and that's what the results had told me as well). They ordered the part and called to scheduled the follow up installation. It couldn't have gone smoother! They are definitely on my permanent speed dial!

I just spent the minimum charge that he charges to come out and look at the problem. He was extremely knowledgeable on what to do and he fixed it very quickly without brisk he was very in and out and I like that. He was great. I used Angie's List to find him.

Although I did not use them this time I was impressed with their help to get my problem solved though they made no money for this. Very nice service .

.Service was efficient, prompt and effective Service person exlained the repair needed and answered my questions courteously. Needed part was ordered and installed as scheduled. All around, a good experience.

We contacted DK Appliance after another company had "repaired" our dryer for similar problem a month ago. The other company claimed that they had replaced the heater coil/string kit and provided a 90 day warranty. When the dryer encountered the same problem a month later, the other company would not respond to our calls or emails. Since we had to get our dryer fixed, we looked on Angie's list and the BBB and determined that DK Appliance had excellent reviews. Kris (the owner) came to look at our dryer and I gave him the history of the problem over the past month and the fact that the other company had "replaced the heater coil/string kit." When Kris opened up the inside of the dryer, he showed me that the heater coil/string kit was black and worn and was obviously the original part. He also showed me what a new heater coil/string kit looks like - which is white. We were so appalled that a company would actually be so fraudulent and basically steal consumer's money when they did not provide the service and repairs which were promised. Kris ended up determining that the problem was actually the control board. He ordered the part and replaced it as soon as the part was in. Our dryer works like a charm now!. We really appreciate Kris's professionalism and expertise but mostly his honesty. As sad as it is to say, we have found that it often very difficult to find a repairman that you can trust. Kris definitely earned our trust and we will never call another appliance repairman besides him. We would highly recommend him to anyone who asks!

He was late and I called him to see how late he would be. Overall he did find the problem right away and fixed our problem.

It took a few visits to complete the job due to problems with replacement parts. However, Kris persevered and completed the repairs and basically only charged us for one visit on the labor charges and the cost of the repair parts. One of the door switches was defective and then the controller pad had to be replaced. It was replaced and worked for a few cycles and then had problems with it. Kris came back out and determined that the ribbon wiring on the controller pad was defective and replaced the defective controller pad at no additional cost. He was very conscientous and thorough in his work, arrived on time as scheduled and was very pleasant all the time even though some of the repair had to be done again through no fault of his own. He warrented the parts and labor and that is exactly what he did. I have no problems in recommending his work and will use the company again in the future.

He was thoroughly professional. We have used DK Appliance Repair before and know several people who have also used them. All of us have received excellent service.

Fine but part/service seemed pricy. But overall ok experience. Just sticker shocked.

Based on good reviews here I called for them to service my washing machine as it would not spin with even a slightly heavy load in. I got an appt the next day and had my dad meet him at the house as I was at work. My dad said he was on time, wore booties when he entered my home and was very nice and professional. He told me that the clutch was bad and the transmission was leaking oil. I could replace the clutch but the machine might only last me a year. Due to the transmission leaking oil and it being 9 years old, I decided I was better off just buying a new washing machine. He even told me the brand and type to buy that has the fewest issues. I was only charged the $65.00 service fee and would definitely call them again. Very honest, very professional, highly recommend. I have been ripped off before by an appliance repairman (J&J) which is why I joined Angie's List and was very pleased to find a great repair service on here! I will be calling DK Appliance Repair for all of my appliance issues.

Very polite and considerate. My husband's schedule abruptly changed in the morning, meaning that we were going to be 5-10 minutes later in arriving home, No problem. Very accomodating.

The repair person repaired a part of the dishwasher. It broke again a few days later. We bought a new dishwasher and requested a refund for the repair work. We were given a partial refund, which we felt was fair.

We call DK appliance and he responded right away. Very fast, professional and right price. Will definitely use them again.

They showed up on time, it was a quick fix and our washer is working properly again.

He arrived on time, stayed for 30 min. He explained everything, tested out the washer, and cleaned up after himself. Extremely professional and polite, will recommend and use again. Reasonable price.

The technician arrived at the appointed time. Immediately began the diagnosis and identified the problem. One of the burners was a natural gas burner although the stove was being fueled with propane. Parts had to be ordered and were installed on a second trip. This is my third utilization of this company on three different appliances. I will continue to use DK.
