Description of Work: Replaced GE oven instrument panel ribbon. I was expecting the whole panel would need replacing, but fortunately for this model, the technician said replacing the ribbon would be enough. He ordered the part and replaced it. Pricing was great. Very happy with the service.

Description of Work: The service person was not prepared to fix anything on arrival. Only confirmed the ice maker was broken and he couldn't fix it. Had to set up another appt. for him to bring a new one and install it. Then, he had significant trouble with the installation. This is an ice maker... shouldn't have broken on such an expensive 1 year old fridge, but shouldn't be that hard to come prepared to fix or replace on one visit.

I was very pleased with them.
Description of Work: I have an appliance worker come in and fixed my refrigerator and it was DK Appliance Repair. The defrosting element had burnt out in the refrigerator and they came and fixed that and also, they replaced the bulb of it.

Description of Work: I had a squealing dryer. Chris' first visit and a new part did not cure the squeal so I did not have to pay for the part. On the second visit, he did serviced the heater which seems to have solved the problem.

Description of Work: DK Appliance came to take a look at the water dispenser leak I had with my GE Profile Refrigerator. They were easy to schedule with and the technician was professional, friendly and on time. I didn't rate them on Quality and Price because we are still waiting to see if I need a new part. The technician figured the leak was caused by a faulty filter.

Description of Work: DK Appliance Repair was able to schedule an appointment 2 days after I contacted them. I used the contact feature on Angie's list. VERY convenient. They responded almost immediately - good customer service. The problem was that the drum on my front-loading dryer would not turn. Chris arrived shortly after the estimated time and quickly diagnosed the problem with the defective belt switch. He overrode the mechanism saying that it was basically superfluous and only used on the particular model of machine that I have. Good news - no parts needed. Chris was professional and quick and took the time to explain the issue to me. Will use them in the future.

Description of Work: The technician diagnosed my dishwasher problem which had been out of commission for the past 2 years. He correctly diagnosed the problem as an electrical connection to the washer. This really saved me money because now I know that I do not have to replace my dishwasher, I just have to hire an electrician which only cost an additional $75, but this is much cheaper than buying a new dishwasher appliance. Thank you DK Appliance for correctly diagnosing my problem and saving me hundreds of dollars.
