They did not have the part they needed, so they ordered it and came back when they said and the refrigerator works great now. They did not charge for the second trip. Very professional and polite. I can see why they have such a high rating on Angie's List. It's nice to know you can still trust a repair service, and I definitely trust DK. Thanks guys!

Description of Work: Repaired both my Jenn Air Dual Fuel range and the ice maker on the fridge with a quick diagnosis and installation of replacement parts. Very satisfied and felt it was a fair price for getting 2 appliances back in working order. Have had no problems with either appliance since.

Description of Work: Had a broken ice maker in Whirlpool refrigerator. Technician came to the house, inspected the unit, and stated that we needed a new ice maker which he would order. Initial visit costs $65.00, and we were informed that a new ice maker would cost approx $185. Technician returned to the home and installed the new ice maker, only to find that the real problem was a malfunctioning water valve. He came back two days later and replaced the valve ($85.00) and let us keep the new ice maker for no charge. Great service, very professional, highly recommend.

Description of Work: Evaluated dryer that would not run. Replaced fuse which continued to blow, then determined the problem to be a main board. Gave us a quote on repair, but due to it's age we decided to replace rather than repair. Appreciated Chris letting us evaluate how much we wanted to spend on an old appliance.

Description of Work: They came right out to diagnose a starter issue with my gas range. Took him about 5 minutes to deduce that one of the starters had died and we needed to order a new part. Part came in within one week and he was back out to install - took less than 10 minutes! Great response time and service. Will use again!

Description of Work: Repaired ice dispenser flap on refrigerator door. New flap worked for a couple of weeks and then it began sticking in the open position causing frost to build up in the freezer. We now just open the door and retrieve ice by hand.

Description of Work: The technician was very professional. He was not able to find a part to fix our older refrigerator. It seemed that he did not continue because it was not cost efficient for the company to look further into finding the part. I did find an independent repairman Larry McCullough who did have the part. DK is in Raleigh and has specific Durham days, which was not convenient for me.

Description of Work: Diagnosed washing machine problem as a failed transmission. Expensive to repair and machine ~12 years old, so recommended replacing. We appreciated his candor. We did purchase a new washer and are satisfied with his advice, our decision and the results. I was very impressed with DK's level of customer service and expertise. I highly recommend them.

The part was ordered and he came back on time and repaired the dryer. I appreciate their service and communication and will gladly call on them if I am in need of their services.
