DK Appliance Repair

Our heating element blew and the entire oven and stove quit working. We called on Wednesday, and the repairman came out Friday morning. He was on-time, professional, and thorough. He checked the rest of the appliance to be sure nothing else was wrong, and replaced the heating element. They do charge a set fee for a service call, but I was very happy to see that he did not charge for a full hour of labor since it only took him a few minutes. Over-all we were very pleased and will use this company again without hesitation!

I got them off of Angie’s List. They were number one and I had the best recommendation. They did a great job. It was $250 to replace the board. It was $50 or $55 for them to come and diagnose everything and $200 for the board. They were great. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. They made the diagnosis, ordered the part and told me that it would take 10 days because it had to come from the factory. They came back when they said they were going to come and installed it. Overall, they were excellent. They did everything they said they were going to do.

DK Appliance Repair quickly diagnosed that the machine needed a new pump. The part was replaced two days later (I wasn't available the first day) and the machine has been working great. Both days the repair man was promptly here between 9:00-9:30 AM. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Called, left a voice mail. Call was returned in 15 minutes, made an appointment, I was told between 9-12 on Friday. I gave them the model and serial number of the dryer. They called at 1O AM on Friday said the repairman would be at my home in 20 minutes. He showed as expected, diagnosed the problem and repaired the dryer...he had the parts with him, I guess he sees this issue on a regular basis. He was done and gone in 45 minutes, the dryer sounds like it did when it was new! Overall as good an experience as one can hope for when having repairs done in the home.

We called DK Appliance Repair when our range was not working properly. Even though it was a fairly new appliance, the clock light was blinking and the range/oven only worked intermittently. The service person quickly diagnosed the problem as electrical and advised us to call an electrician. DK's technician came to the house at the specified time and was very honest and friendly. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a quality and reasonably priced appliance repair.

Fabulous experience from the call into the company to the repair of the appliance. A first class operation all the way. The technican was professional, competent, went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. I can't say enough great things about DK and would use them again without hesitation!

They sent a technician to look at it on a Wed and he quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. He came back the following Monday and installed the part. Everything seems to be working again. DK appliance was quick to return my call and fix my dryer. I'm a satisfied customer who would call them again for future appliance repairs.

Dawn was very helpful in scheduling the appointment. They could have scheduled within 2 days to my house, but due to my not being able to be at home during that time, we scheduled for the following week. She said Kris would come between 9 and noon, which is exactly what he did. Turns out, the previous owner had the disposal installed before he sold it and it had not been used before. The installer had forgotten to punch out a little plastic piece where the drain hose for the dishwasher connects to the disposal. Therefore it wasn't draining. Kris took care of it in about 10 minutes, maybe less. He was very professional. DK charges $65 for the initial service call to figure out the problem, then they have different rates for the repair depending on what it is (can't remember what they are.) Since it was such a quick repair, they just charged me for the price of a service call, $65. This is a little high for a 10-minute fix, but I can understand the concept of a minimum fee, and I'm very pleased with how easy it was to get this done. It would've taken my husband forever to figure out what Kris figured out in about 2 minutes, so it was worth it.

Everything turned out well. I did have a few minor problems but they were quick to fix the issues. I thought there prices were fair. The crew was very professional and friendly as well. Overall, I was satisfied with this company and would use them again.

They were great. The day they came out, it was not working at all, and they had to order the parts. It was a holiday weekend. He actually removed the damper door that was broken, so I can have the cooling during the weekend. He actually helped me to set it up, so it could have the cooling. He was great. He came back and fixed everything. He fixed the parts, and his price is very reasonable. It works fine, and no complication.

I called because my dryer had a very loud, screeching noise when running. The receptionist was very courteous and asked me specifics about my problem. She also asked for the make and serial number of the appliance. A very prompt appointment was set up. The repairman was on time and extremely courteous and professional. He already had a part with him for my machine based on the information I had given over the phone. His diagnosis was spot on because he installed the part and the machine has been working perfectly ever since! When he left, he told me that if the part didn't solve the problem and if I decided to replace the machine instead of fixing it, he would refund me the cost of the part he installed. I felt that was extremely fair and had never had that offered to me before by any other repairman. I would call DK Appliance Repair again without hesitation. I was very pleased with the service and the price!

The repairman called to say he was running ahead of schedule and wanted to come early. I happily agreed. He arrived, diagnosed, and replaced the faulty part in 20 minutes total. He was actually done before the appointment was to begin! The work was quick, efficient, and professional. He suspected that my machine would require a particular part, so he brought it along. He was correct. He was friendly, and answered each of my questions thoroughly. I highly recommend them.

Did an excellent job. Very professional and quick to service our dishwasher. They arrived on time or a few minutes early.

Service technician came out and diagnosed the problem and had to order several parts for my LG washer. Unfortunately LG parts are hard to come by and must be ordered from China. The parts were on back ordered. After several weeks the parts arrived and were properly installed by DK Appliance. DK Applicance were very responsive to our needs and arrive for service at the allotted time. While the service tech was there repairing the washer, we also mentioned about a minor problem we were having with the LG dryer....they took care of that issue at the same time with no additional charge!

Overall everything was fine. Unfortunately I own an LG dryer and the part took forever to arrive. Apparently EVERYTHING associated with an LG product is on back order, but that was not DK's fault. DK appliance actually started calling around for other suppliers to get the part in quicker. They did a great job.

Person who answered the phone at DK was pleasant, helpful and responsive and worked us in around our schedule (3 hour time block). Technician only charged an additional $10 beyond the $65 diagnostic fee. I was thrilled! Great service, great value...I'll call DK for all my future appliance repair needs.

Called about 11am Monday to see when someone would be able to come check out my microwave that had stopped working over the weekend. Was able (luckily) to get an appointment the next day! Repair man was there with in appointment time and called when he was on his way. Excellent service will use again and recommend!

Simple, fast, reliable, excellent. Found DK Appliance Repair on Angie's list. They were professional, scheduled the diagnostic call ASAP, the day before Thanksgiving. The repairman was professional, personable and able. He said he could have diagnosed it over the phone, had he heard the noise the refrigerator was making (I spoke to the woman who took my info and scheduled the appt). The day after Thanksgiving, returned with new motherboard. Gave advice re: maintenance/cleaning.

Kris Reed of DK Appliance Repair is very helpful and professional. Showed up at the appointed time and listened to me describe the problems with our oven and refridgerator. He inspected the appliances and took down all the necessary information. We needed a new control board on our oven and Kris gave me a quote for the part and a time when he could get the part in and install it. While he was at my house, he looked over several other appliances and tighten the water valve on our washer when he heard a dripping sound. When he returned a couple of days later, he also tightened the door handle on the oven. The actual repair to the oven was more involved than first expected but Kris took his time, opened up the stove top and got the job done. He really went out of his way to give me advice about my old appliances. Gave me options on whether or not it was worth fixing some items and was more than generous with his knowledge and time. I definitely got more than my money's worth and feel great to know that I have an appliance repair person I can rely on to do a great job and not take advantage of me.

Our experience with DK was fantastic simply because when they came to our house for the service visit, the machine actually drained properly. While we couldn't make the problem repeat itself---and therefore, couldn't get the repair done---the DK guys promised to come back without any additional charge if the problem repeated itself. Sure enough, within 2 weeks, the dishwasher wouldn't drain again. One call to the DK guys and they were back at my house to troubleshoot. They fixed the problem that visit and it hasn't happened again.

Arrived on time, very professional. Diagnosed the problem right away and replaced blocked valve. Cleaned up and everything back in order.

Kris at DK was able to locate a belt for my ancient dishwasher and got it working again, saving me hundreds of dollars on a new machine. Let me know the day before what the repair would cost, showed up on time, very nice and professional, and let my dog supervise. ;)

We had a great experience with DK Appliance and highly recommend their work. They came to the house and gave us honest, accurate estimates. They fixed our stove, icemaker and dishwasher. They also checked our microwave and rather than trying to make money off us they recommended it be replaced. They worked with us every step of the way and were very professional at all times.
