Turned out to be something non-plumbing related causing the noise. Plumber was respectful and helpful plus didn't charge us after figuring out the sound. I hope we don't need a plumber in the future but if we do we will call this company back!

Called Chris early afternoon and he arrived within 2 hours after giving me a 2 or 3 hour estimate. He fixed the water line that had sprung a leak in quick time, professional job, cleaned up, and was was very courteous. Highly recommend if you need some work done.

Had toilet blockage that a normal toilet plunger would not fix. Did not know of a reputable plumber, researched Angie's List for highly rated plumbers in my area. Called a few to get an estimate for a service call. Estimates were close to each other +/- $20. CK Plumbing stood out amongst others because they said they did not charge extra to use a hand auger if toilet plunging did not work. I've used a had auger before to clear a blocked toilet at my father-in-law's house. It's not complicated nor time consuming. Other plumbers said that if a hand auger was needed there would be an extra charge upwards of $30. CK showed up as scheduled and was able to clear the toilet with an auger, however, the toilet was still not flushing like it should. Plumber said that he would need to remove toilet to determine what was the cause and asked for my authorization since this would be an added cost in addition to the service charge I was originally given over the phone. This was a reasonable request since there's definitely more work involved. Cause of slow flushing was found to be a popsicle stick......kids gotta love them. CK was very professional and friendly and upfront with the cost and services performed, I won't hesitate to call CK Plumbing again for any future plumbing issues. As for the bill only $125, this included removing the toilet from it's mounting. This was much less than I expected.

Called this business on Tuesday 11/13/12 requesting service; spoke with the owner Chris who scheduled my appt for today (11/15/12). Service man called to say he was a few minutes late due to traffic, but showed up almost immediately. We went over everything I needed, (change of kitchen sink faucet, fix of washing machine hose, assessment of dishwasher not working and assessment of possible shower leak). The work was performed professionally and timely. I was beyond satisfied and highly recommend this company.

CKs was quick to give me an estimate. They installed the new tankless water heater promptly. The job was done neatly and professionally. It really is a beautiful installation. I'm so proud of it, I've shown pictures to quite a few people. I don't know how, but they also managed to get the old tank out without tracking mud throughout my basement! Bravo guys!!!

After noticing some water at the base of our water heater I searched Angies list for a plumber. It was the weekend but I called and Chris said he could stop by to investigate as he was in the area. This was great as we were going on vacation towards the end of the next week and wanted to get this resolved before we left. Chris immediately identified that the expansion tank pipe was the source of the problem. He also mentioned that the tank should have been replace many years ago. He said that one of his employees would be out early on Monday to replace the expansion tank and pipe. As promised, a plumber came out on Monday and quickly resolved the problem. The experience was great and I highly recommend CKs Plumbing! They were knowledgeable, professional, and respectful.

Over the last 1.5 years we have used CK's plumbing to install a tankless hot water heater, replace a kitchen faucet, and fix a couple of toilets. On Friday we found a leak under our house so we called Chris, the owner of CK's plumbing. Chris answered the call himself and scheduled us for the next day, Saturday. He gave us a 2 hour window and called when he was on his way. When he arrived he went under the house and knew immediately what the problem was, our shower drain in the first floor master bath shower was leaking. Chris cleaned the drain, resealed the gasket and we were good to go. Chris told us to just call if we had any additional problems. 31-Oct-12 When taking a shower Thursday morning, I found that my 'hot' water was lukewarm and quickly heading towards being cold. I contacted CK's at 9:30 advising him of the situation. He responded promptly to give me a rough estimate of what the repair cost would be if I had an electric water heater. After asking if the water heater could be looked at 'same day', he indicated Yes (late in the day). I advised that I would be home at 5:30 pm. Chris arrived at ~6:00 pm. He found that the breaker had tripped. Simple solution this time; however he advised that due to the age of my water heater, I'd probably have to replace it soon. (18 yrs old) His level of service was excellent! He's a professional, knows his work and does it with a smile! Much appreciated!

Great, Chris was on-time and worked in a timely manner. He also took care of a couple small things - toilet not flushing properly and shower dripping - even though they were extra. Very professional,

Several years ago I used CK's plumbing to replace a hot water heater in my Apex condo. The home is tenant occupied and my tenant had great things to say about Chris. I was very pleased with the promptness of the work, and while water heaters are by their nature expensive, his rates seemed appropriate. Tonight, I called Chris in a panic as my same tenant called to say there was water coming from the ceiling. We both remembered liking Chris and dug out his business card. He agreed, without hesitation to make the trip out to assess the cause tonight so it wouldn't do more damage overnight. Since the leaking ceiling wasn't directly under a bathroom, we weren't sure where it was coming from. He charged a reasonable minimum rate but did not charge a weekend or evening surcharge, which I appreciated. My tenant reported that the issue was promptly solved and she can rest easy tonight. As can I. Great small business to support.

Did a good job, was prompt and quickly got the job done.

Chris and his coworker Rocky arrived on time a day after I called and explained that there was water leaking somewhere on my property. Instead of spending over $700 for a company to use helium to diagnose the problem, Chris used his "divining rod" and prodded the ground along the pathway of the underground pipes until he found the probable area of the leak (the rod indicated a higher level of water than expected). He said he could dig up the area, repair the leak and refill the area for $150...a very reasonable amount. While he was at my house, I asked him to replace the main shut off valve as the old one was a bit faulty. He also helped prepare a connection to the sink for a water filtration system. He explained everything beforehand and told me what the costs would be so that there were no surprises. He and Rocky were very efficient, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely call them again with any plumbing issues.

We were without any water so we gave Chris a call on a Saturday. He gave me a quick estimate for a service call on the phone, and came out as planned in the afternoon. Once on site he determined that we needed a well pump and pressure tank. The next day, Sunday, he pulled the pump, and replaced the pressure tank. During the work he didn't appear to mind be peppered with questions about what he was doing. He explained everything fully. After restoring everything he cleaned up and charged what he had estimated for the work. One of the most thoughtful, professional serviceman I've had come to our home. I'd have no hesitation recommending him to a friend or family member.

Chris was very prompt and polite on the phone and gave me a good feeling right off the bat. Bob was very friendly and professional and worked hard to diagnose and repair the issue. Plumbing is very much trial and error and Bob was very patient as we worked through several different possibilities until we finally found the root cause of the leak. Bob's work was very clean and he was sure to make clean cuts in the dry wall and collect all of the droppings and dust. I was very pleased at how good the price was and am so glad that I finally have found a go to plumber. Chris recommended Jim (don't have his company name) to do the drywall repair. Jim was awesome. Friendly, professional, clean and thorough. Jim was also very well priced. With any type of service in this area, there are going to be good and bad experiences (I have had a few poor plumbing experiences in the past). I can say with confidence that anyone choosing CKs will be sure to have a great experience more often than not. It is great to know that there is a very reliable, professional and cost effective option for plumbing and drywall. I will absolutely use CKs and Jim for all of our future needs.

Very good - Chris responded promptly to emails, & was very willing to work with my schedule when I needed to be at home and informed me when he could do any work without needing me there. In addition, he did the work as promised, was prompt, and was willing to go the extra mile to ensure I understood how the system worked. I will definitely contact Chris at CK's Plumbing if we have any future plumbing or backflow repair needs!

I asked Chris Kousis of CK's Plumbing and Backflow to do a general inspection of my office plumbing. For the most part, everything seemed to be in good order around bathrooms and sinks. Chris recommended checking hot water heaters which are located in the attic. Good thing because it was determined that these were aging and likely to develop a plumbing emergency in the not too distant future. Later the same day, Chris emailed over a proposal to replace both units. Proposals were very competitive, as I had also checked with two other plumbers for pricing. The next day Chris and his crew arrived as scheduled and installed the new water heaters. This was a very hot day and they worked very quickly and efficiently to get the water heaters installed. Once the work was completed, they were very considerate about cleaning up debris associated with the work. i appreciate Chris' ability to troubleshoot and provide service pro-actively in my case. This is the first opportunity I had to work with CK's. I plan to use them again as needed in the future.

I called Chris and he promptly answered his phone and spent time talking with me about my problem. I have a new home, which has a backwater valve box that was filling with water and not draining. I felt that I was not getting a good response from the builder and wanted a professional opinion on options that I could pursue.Over the phone, Chris told me that he didn't feel that it was a plumbing issue and that he didn't want to waste my time - he said he didn't want to end up with me being mad at him for wasting my money. Of course that put me right at ease! After talking further he said he'd come out for a one-hour service call and give me his advice from a plumber's perspective. We agreed that was what I wanted and he scheduled to come out the following morning.Chris came out as scheduled and pumped all of the standing water out of the box using a handheld pump with a long hose. We then talked about his thoughts on alternatives I could present to the builder. He also sold me his plumber's grade handheld pump at a very reasonable price, which is included in the price shown above.Overall, Chris was very professional and punctual. I felt totally at ease with him and feel that he did exactly what we had discussed over the phone. He is very honest and isn't just out there for a quick buck. I highly recommend CK's Plumbing and Backflow for any plumbing needs. I won't hesitate to use him again in the future!

One word OUTSTANDING!!! I found my hot water heater leaking Sunday morning around 10:00 a.m. I called Chris at CK's Plumbing & he was at my house by 10:30 (on a SUNDAY!). I was expecting Chris to tell me it would be the next day before he could get a new hot water heater but he was able to get a replacement hot water heater the same day. He did a great job. He cleaned up after he finished his work, he checked me out on how to set the temperature & how to relight the pilot if I ever needed to. Chris was professional, pleasant & knowledgable. I will use CK's Plumbing the next time I have any plumbing issues. THANKS Chris!

Chris was great!!! We needed our backflow valve checked and found CK Plumbing on Angie's List. I made a call to Chris and he answered his phone right away and said he could come out the same day. As it turns out he was in my neighborhood. He was at my house and done with the service in less than 45 minutes. He was quick and friendly. We would absolutely use him again.

I came home from work yesterday and saw that my water heater was leaking water. I called Chris and he said that he could replace the water heater the next day, probably later in the afternoon and asked me when I got off work. He said that he could probably do it around 5 and said he would confirm the time later by e-mail. He provided me with an estimate for the work. I e-mailed him the information he requested. He confirmed the time by e-mail. Chris called around 5 the next day and arrived shortly thereafter and replaced the water heater. He asked me where I found him. I told him Angie's List, so he gave me the $75.00 discount. I checked the cost of a new water heater and installation and the price quoted was within range.

We were out of town, and the repair was handled remotely. A technician was sent out shortly after my call,and he kept in contact with us while figuring out the problems, giving us an estimate, and making the repair.

I called CK's plumbing and spoke to Bob. He is a very nice guy. He told me he wouldn't be able to make it out the day I called but he could make it tomorrow. He showed up the next day on time. Fixed the pipe in about 20 minutes. Cleaned up after himself and I payed him by credit card on the spot. i will definitely use these guys again.

On time arrival and diagnosis confirmation. The PRV was replaced. Because this house is a slab house, the sheet rock had to be cut to access and replace the PRV. It was quickly done and an access panel was installed should the unit ever need replacement again. The price was good and included the trip charge, PRV replacement, access panel and set to a reasonable water pressure.
