We really liked him. He was very friendly, and on time. He did the work due to another plumber that had done things weird and he calmly solved all the problems. He went out and got a part and did it like it was no big deal when the other guy had said that it would be unbelievably expensive. Now it works beautifully. All the plumbing he did, he did it very quickly and efficiently.

Our 12-year-old water heater developed a slow leak over the weekend (thankfully, we have a water detector on the garage floor, so we knew). Chris (the owner of CK's) had done some emergency work for us before, based on his Angie's List A rating and his BBB A+ rating, so he was my first and only call for a quick replacement. He had just the water heater we needed in stock, and came right out on Monday (when he said he would) and had the old water heater removed, the new one installed, and the garage all cleaned up in just a little over an hour. The installation was done to my satisfaction (I'm a picky engineer, so that means something), and we were back in business with hot water without skipping a beat.

CK's Plumbing receives 4 out of 4 stars!! I had a catastrophe resulting from a burst water heater in my attic. Chris was at my house the same day, provided a fair estimate, and followed through on the work promised as scheduled. He also provided a solution to avoid a future occurrence of the same problem. Great service!! Highly professional, excellent! I would readily utilize CK's Plumbing again and highly recommend their services to others.

CK's replaced our 13 yr old water heater. The owner Chris was the one who came for the estimate and was the one who replaced the old water heater and installed the new water heater. The price I paid was not the lowest estimate that I received but Chris was very professional and performed the work himself in a timely, neat fashion. I would hire CK's again.

We had a big leak that turned into a a big mess. Chris was so professional, very helpful, extremely knowledgable, efficient and reasonable that he made the awful experience a lot easier to handle. We definitely recommend using CK's Plumbing.

Chris did an excellent job and I was very impressed with the service provided from start to finish. From the time I called him to request an estimate through completion of the replacement, he was very responsive and helpful in explaining the details of the job. He came out to provide the estimate in a timely manner and then was able to complete the work the next day to return hot water and heat to my home. His pricing was very fair and his work was complete. I am very happy with the work performed and will definitely use CKs Plumbing for future needs.

Chris and his helper did a great job. They were here for about 4 hours and worked hard the entire time. They were careful to ask questions when they were uncertain about our requirements and pointed out potential issues prior to doing any work. It's an older house and they had to work with and around some 60+ year old pipes. This caused some minor issues for them, which they solved without complaint. Compared to other plumbing services that we recently have used, CK's plumbing was far more efficient and accommodating. My only minor gripe is that it was difficult to get on their schedule.

Chris did an excellent job. Not only did he professionally complete the prepaid assignment, but he also helped me on various other plumbing issues and advise me how best to take care of an outdoor plumbing concern at minimal cost without him. Very honest.

CK's Plumbing quoted and installed a new bathroom in my walk-out basement. They provided a detailed quote and work schedule (broken out by stages) and a payment schedule based on their work passing the different stages of the required County Inspections. They showed up on time, worked hard, and completed their work on time. They worked with me on a couple cost cutting ideas and they returned phone calls and e-mails very promptly. I interviewed 5 other plumbers before I found CK's Plumbing. Most of the other plumbers didn't even bother to return my calls because it wasn't an easy job/"easy money". I will use CK's Plumbing in the future if needed and highly recommend them.

Thye quickly replaced the pipe and gave us some advice on how to deal with the water damage. Same day service went well.

I called CK's at 8:30 am on New Years Eve to ask if they could replace my hot water heater expansion tank which had sprung a leak. By noon the tank had been replaced. They were prompt, helpful, and professional. I'll definitely use them if I need plumbing services again.

I contacted CK's Plumbing and Backflow because we had two bathtubs that were draining so slowly they would start to fill up when we showered. The responded almost immediately and scheduled a service call for the next day. The technician showed up right on time, was very friendly and professional. He had the first bathtub cleared in minutes. When he went to the second bathroom he noticed that the drain fixture was corroded, making it impossible for us to open and close the drain. He left for a very short time to get a replacement that perfectly matched the polished bronze finish of the other fixtures. Within minutes he had the new one installed and that drain cleared. He explained the types of cleaners that cause corrosion on this type of fixture finish, which will help us prevent this from happening in the future. When he left, everything was so clean you couldn't tell anyone had even been here...except for the fact that the drains were perfectly clear. Their prices were very reasonable. In the past I have been disappointed with other plumbing companies overcharging, leaving messes, and requiring callbacks for services done incorrectly. CK's Plumbing and Backflow will be my #1 choice from this point forward and I will highly recommend them to everyone I know!

It went well overall. There were a few minor items, such as a new diverter on the shower, and it was able to be replaced quickly. The major item was the water heater, which was unable to be flushed and needed to be replaced. That wasn't a surprise and I was quoted a fair price. If there were an A minus or B plus rating option, that would be my overall rating. The only ding for me on the entire process was about the punctuality. I can work within a time-frame (e.g. 7-noon, 1-3, etc.), but in turn, my expectation is the worker to show up during that agreed time frame, or call if he or she is running late. On the day the water heater was to be installed, I had arranged to be home during the agreed upon time (noon-5). By 4:45 when the repair person had not shown up, nor had he called, I phoned to find out the approximate ETA and was told it would be about another sixty to ninety-plus minutes. After some further conversation, he re-arranged the last two work orders for the day (mine being one of them) and moved up the installation time. He still arrived after the originally agreed time. While I understand things happen at the last minute which impact scheduling, the company's scheduling issues should not become my problem and certainly without the courtesy of a phone call. Other than that, Mr. K was polite, respectful, and did a thorough job. He cleaned up before he left and was personable and explained everything he was doing. If you work from home or have a friend or other adult available to handle this type of scenario, then CK's scheduling snafus likely won't affect you. You'll get a good company and a good (and thorough) worker, who'll do the job right.

The pressure reducing valve (reduces & regulates the city water pressure coming into the house) started leaking into my basement on Friday evening. Off I went to Angie's List to find a 24-hour plumber. I called Chris & we talked through the problem. Based on Chris' assessment we decided that the replacement job could wait until Monday, which I'm assuming saved me from a weekend/emergency surcharge. Plumber showed up on Monday during the appointed time window, replaced the leaking PRV and added an additional water shut off between the steet-side supply and the PRV in case we ever have a leak like this again. Great experience, I would definitely use CK's again.

After looking around in Angies List I found CK's Plumbing on a Saturday, the water from the water heaters were brown and one of the heaters did not work at all. I talked to Chris and he came out the same day talking about the options, since the water heaters were 13 years old they had to be replaced. He asked if I needed the heaters to be replaced on the day after (Sunday), but since we still had hot water I suggested Wednesday. They showed up as agreed with all equipment and gear necessary for the job. The invoice was sent for the exact amount that was proposed. CK's are very professional, responsive and quick. I will definitely call them next time I need help! I am very happy with everything!

My water heater was leaking. I call Chris , he came the next day to estimate and finished the job within 2 days. Perfect, no problem till now and will work with Chris for my next project.

I actually found Chris through Angies List. My wife and I had three different estimates and Chris stood out above and beyond. He came out when he said he would. He offered us great advice and did not pressure us or try to sell us on anything. He is very customer centric. Chris and his crew did excellent work on our master bathroom renovation. All work was done in a timely manner and our tile guy even commented on the job well done. I really feel that I lucked out with him. This is our first home and we found a plumber that does great work and is quite personable. A few other notes...my wife and I were completely comfortable with leaving Chris to do work in our home while we were at work. If he had any questions with the job he would call me on my phone and not just assume which was reassuring. I again realize that the best way to thank Chris is to refer my family/friends. And I hope this forum will yield him additional business as well. Thank you Chris.

My old water heater sprung a leak. I called CKs on Saturday evening. He was busy working with another customer and said he would come as soon as he finished. He promplty arrived and assessed the situation. He said since the old heater was leaking for some time there was a lot of corrision damage and that I needed new heater. He offered a standard water heater option and a tankless water heater option. He clearly explained the advantages and disadvantages of each option. We decided to install a tankless water heater. He came the next day (Sunday) and installed it within a couple of hours. The job done was very clean and the took the old heater and all associated debris. He did not charge extra for the Saturday visit or the weekend job. So fer, we are very happy with the performance of this heater. Does not run out of water when multiple people have a bath back to back and operates well when more than one tap is on. Takes up very little room in the crawl space.

They were very prompt and professional. Gave an estimate and kept it there. They were able to get it done in about 3 hours.

CK's was asked to unclog our kitchen drain pipe. The worker was available the same day I called and arrived at the time promised. He was courteous and had his own drop cloth. I was, however, dismayed to come into the kichen and find the drain auger sitting on my granite countertop before he moved it under the sink to begin his work. He worked diligently for an hour with the drain auger, chemical drain cleaner and plunger but was unable to unclog the drain. He did not feel it necessary to examine or investigate the kitchen drain pipe under the house even though it was pointed out to him. After an hour of working with his equipment, he gave up and recommended two other plumbing companies that might be able to unclog the drain. Since CK's was unable to resolve the drain problem, it is their policy NOT to charge the customer. This policy prompts me to value the management of this company and their obvious commitment to customer satisfaction. Also one of the companies they recommended was able to successfully unclog the drain the next day.

Chris showed up on time (actually a few minutes early) and was very nice and professional. He discussed my options and I chose the less expensive route. I had made an appointment with him and he showed up with the part in hand and it took him about 30 minutes to do the replacement. I was quite pleased with the overall experience and would recommend him to others needing plumbing services.

My hot water stopped working late saturday evening. I woke up sunday morning and started searching for someone to come and look at the water heater to see what the problem was. I called Chris with Ck's plumbing and he was at my house within the hour to see what was going on (did i mention this was on a sunday?). He was great from the start he went in the attic with me to look at the water heater, found the problem and let me know my options. Unfortunately, the problem was irreparable and the water heater needed to be replaced. He gave me a quote on site and that is exactly what I paid. I of course was a little bummed at first at the prospect of having to spend a lot of money but all said and done I have never been so please spending $900.00 with a company. The unit was replaced much quicker than I would have ever expected and you wouldn't know the guys were ever here. They managed to get 40 gallons of water out of my attic down a flight of stairs with out getting a drop of water on the carpet. If Chris told me he was going to do something he did it. He told me he would email me that night with a written quote and when they would be here to replace the water heater the next morning. I got the quote just as he said and they were here exactly when they said they would be and they were done in one hour. Every business should be run they way Chris operates his business. He is a stand up guy and it was a pleasure doing business with him. I have already referred him to my Dad and he will be calling him later this week to have his water heater replaced!

Excellent. Bob arrived on time, quickly analyzed the problems, fixed the problems, and throughout the experience he was friendly and personable. Things couldn't have gone better. There was a minor problem resulting from the replacement of the pipe that didn't become apparent for a few weeks and he came back and fixed it without charge.
