Could not be happier with CK's Plumbing & Backflow. Our 50 gallon water heater was well beyond its life span sitting in our third floor attic. We began receiving quotes to remove and replace with a tankless water heater and after reading so many positive reviews on various websites about CK's Plumbing & Backflow we reached out to them for a quote. Could not be happier with this company – the overall process was a turn-key operation from the day we reached out to the finished job. Megan in the office scheduled us quickly with an estimator, Bob. The day for our estimate – Bob actually reached out with the option to come by a little earlier than expected - which worked out great. He explained our different options and locations for the tankless – and provided a very reasonable quote. After receiving several quotes on the job – we felt the most comfortable going with CK’s due to price, the abundance of positive reviews, and the overall receptiveness we had to that point. We reached back out to CK’s and scheduled with Megan – who explained the installation and inspection process and put us on the books for a week later. On the day of the job – Nick called as he was on the way and he and Tim arrived to our house right on time first thing in the morning. Could not have asked for a better 2 – man crew than Nick & Tim. They were extremely efficient and were very careful about not tracking anything through the house as they worked to drain, remove the old tank, and cap everything off in the attic and install the new tankless outside. Not too long after lunch – the job was complete – the attic was empty and hot water was flowing through the house from the exterior tankless. The next day – Megan reached out first thing in the morning from the office and informed us that Nick was on his way to set everything up for the inspection and he planned to wait for the inspector’s arrival and completion so he could get us set back up with hot water soon after the inspection was completed. From beginning to end – we could not have been happier with the work and responsiveness from CK’s Plumbing & Backflow. We highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!

Did a professional job for a fair price.

Very well. The plumber did have to work hard to get the drain unstopped, but he never complained; he just kept working on it until it was fixed. Years of of fat and grease, that I thought had gone through the drain had just piled up. I was glad that I didn't have to do what he did!

Well. Project started on the weekend.

CK plumbing did a great job repairing my leak. They were responsive, punctual, and professional. They identified the source, discussed the options and price before proceeding. Once we agreed on a plan they carefully accessed the pipe, fixed the leak, and cleaned up. Got other quotes for the job and they offered as good or better pricing with great customer service. Would definitely use them again.

New toilet was installed. However, the toilet is constantly running.

Every thing went well from estimate through installation. Nick and crew did the estimate and install. The estimate was competitive and there were no extras. Crew showed up on time and did a good job removing the old unit and installing the new. Very neat and courteous. We were very pleased with how well the project went. The main work was competed in one day. Both the re-piping and water heater installation was inspected by the Town of Cary. The crew lead was very responsive to address a minor issue identified by the town. I enjoyed my interaction with the sales person and crew lead. We will use them again for plumbing work and recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

Price was significantly lower than other quotes I got for same water heater. Service representative arrived earlier than originally promised and completed job in approximately 2 hours. Area was clean at completion of job. Very friendly people with which to work beginning with Meagan via phone to the service representative.

Work was performed. However, I could not believe they did didn't have the necessary part with them when they knew what the work entailed. The invoice didn't break anything down. I only knew the initial charge would be $99, but the total was triple that without explanation.

we opted not to go with them, mostly over the 10 days it took to provide us a quote after the site visit. They were slightly more than the quote we chose, but that provider then later claimed errors they made in the quoting process and tried to increase the bill by a large amount. wish we had gone with ck

The guys showed up on time, took care to not make a mess, they were respectful and professional letting me know what was going on along the way. I was impressed with their level of integrity telling me that a hose bib did not need replacement as I had thought. All the work was done in a timely fashion and the cost competitive and fair. My family recently moved to Raleigh so its always a gamble when searching for a trusted contractor that does quality work when they promise to do it. I intend to keep using CK Plumbing. They could not come with a higher endorsement from me.

Drain line was broken with delivery of a new washing machine. CK's Plumbing was able to come the same day to assess and repair the broken line. They were prompt, did good work, communicated well and behaved as professionals.

Jerry did a great job. He was on time. He was very professional and explained what he was doing and why it had to be done. We were very satisfied with his work and would definitely call him and CK's Plumbing again.

CK's was awesome. They are reasonably priced and do a great job. They were clean and very professional and worked quickly in order to get these things fixed. I am a new home owner and shopped around for months and I am happy I went with CK's. I recommend this company to everyone and will use them again.

Forgot to install expansion tank as promised and included in original price. They came back and installed. Price for job was about $1,800. Way to high considering the water heater retails for about $400 as i reserached later. 3 hours of labor for $1,400. I did get a $50 discount from a coupon on their site.

The guys were nice and seemed to know what they were doing, but they said it would be a lot of work and of course expensive. They came up with one alternative, but they didn’t seem very enthusiastic. The company charges $195 an hour and I think that is shameful!

I recently noticed our 10 year old hot water heater had been leaking liquid. As an Angie's List member, I immediately began searching for a highly recommended company to take a look at it. Overwhelmingly, CK's Plumbing & Backflow seemed to be the consensus choice so I gave them a holler. Bob was scheduled to come the following day between 10am and 12pm, but actually called around 9am and arrived around 9:30am. After a review of the situation, he gave me a couple of options - replace the expansion tank and see if I could get a few more years out of the heater or replace the heater and expansion tank. No sales pressure whatsoever. I opted to replace both. Bob stated he would have a crew out to our residence later that day between 3pm and 5pm. As promised, the installation team of Nick and Olsen showed up as scheduled. About 75 minutes later, they were done. I found both to be very knowledgeable and personable. I couldn't be happier. Thank you CK's - specifically Bob, Nick and Olsen!
