This is the second time I have used their services. The first itme they replaced my hot water heater. Both repairs were handled in a very professional manner. They respond quickly to requests for sevice and come when they say the will. I will call them again and would recommend them to others.

After receiving a very high water bill I contacted Chris (the owner) on a weekend, thinking I had a major leak. Kyle came out promptly on Monday morning and quickly assessed and fixed the problem. He answered all of my questions in a very professional and courteous manner. In this situation CK's charges were fair and they could have easily charged me for a more expensive repair. Nice to find a plumber in whom you have confidence. I will certainly use them again.

My father was there during the repair. He is not easily pleased to say the least. But after the work was done, he had nothing but glowing praise for the guys. He even personally introduced the guys to a couple of the neighbors telling them how good they are. The work was good, the price was right, the service was professional all around.

It worked out well. He came out and flushed my drain pipe but my pipes were clogged. He did a good Job.

CK's responded quickly to my request. I had a slow leak out of my toilet, and they came by the same afternoon. I appreciated their communication and quick response.

It turned out very good. I had done business with them before. I just used Angie's List and I saw the deal. I went ahead and got the deal and did business with them that way. He had quoted the price and it seemed reasonable based on other plumbing services in the area. They were very responsive. They were very much on time. They keep me apprised of when they were coming. They were very professional.

I discovered water leaking all over my crawlspace floor and called CK's Plumbing for repair. I spoke with the owner, he dispatched a plumber and had him at my house in 20 minutes. The plumber did a great job and quickly fixed the leak. I had the plumber come back the next day to replace the shutoff valve and while he was here, I had him service my tankless hot water heater. The water heater was somewhat plugged up with scale and needed a good cleaning. Everything runs great now. The people I dealt with at CK's were all polite and knowledgeable and the prices are very reasonable. I own several houses and have dealt with other plumbers around here, and the work CKs did was not only top notch but was also cheaper than other plumbers I've hired in the past. I'll remember CK's next time I need plumbing service. A+++

First they showed up right on time, something I like since we are all on schedules. Our water heater was 11 years old and had seen it's better days. they said they could repair it but recommended a new one based on the age. Installed the new one in just a few hours and took my old one away. Was very professional in showing me how the new one worked.

We discovered over the weekend that our water heater had been leaking for a few days. We called a company listed in our church bulletin on Sunday and made it clear this was emergency. No response. Called back at 11:00 a.m. Monday and when I said I'd left a message, they didn't even acknowledge whether they'd gotten it. The lady took my info and said she'd give it to the manager. As of 1:45 p.m., still no response. I called CKS around 11:30 a.m. and by 1:45 p.m., they were practically done. I wanted to update this review because it sounds more like a bad review of another company instead of a good review of CKs. I just wanted to point out that, in comparison to another company, CKs was very quick to respond in an emergency and I highly recommend them. They will get all my business in the future.

On March 6, 2014 at roughly 11pm I heard our water heater leaking water in the garage. I promptly got on Angies List and did a quick search and saw CK's Plumbing and all the good reviews about them so figured I'd give him a call. I called him at roughly 11:20pm on a Thursday night and he answered. He walked me through turning the water off to the heater to stop it from leaking even more water on the floor and he set up an appointment for the very next day. He quoted me a price of $1150 on the phone and that's what it came out to be. At about 11:20am on March 7, 2014 an associate of his "Kyle" showed up and immediately got to work replacing my old water heater. Kyle was extremely professional and answered every question I had for him. It took him roughly 2 hours to take out my old water heater and install the brand new one. Everything went smoothly and 2.5 hours after he first started I had hot water again. Was I happy spending $1150 for a new water heater? No, who would be, but it had to be replaced and I can't think of having a better experience going through that. I now have a plumber that I will without a doubt be calling on in the future if and when things go wrong with my plumbing. Thank you CK for being extremely professional and exceptionally quick. I was thinking it was going to take days and within 12 hours of first contacting him, they were here fixing my problem.

The quality of work was outstanding and they kept to their estimate. The work was completed in one day and they even vacuumed their work areas. I will call on this company for future plumbing needs. I waited to comment to confirm the new water heater was working fine, which it is.

Called first thing this morning and had a new water heater by 2:00 pm. Price was in line with several estimates given to me, by other companies (by phone). Decided on CK's based on Angie's list reviews, quoted price and availability of same-day service, on this particular day. Very prompt/punctual, great communication and good, quick work. Would definitely call again.

Everything went extremely well and we have recommended Chris to our neighbors.

They were able to send someone within hours of my initial call, and since I was at work, they called me to give me plenty of time to get home and let the repairman in. He was quickly able to diagnose the issue, ran out to get some parts, and completed the entire repair within about an hour. Very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. The cost of the repair was well within what I was expecting, and two days after the service was performed I received a $10 refund in the mail because they forgot to deduct my Angie's List discount! It's hard to find this sort of quality work and honesty all in one. I'll definitely call them the next time I need similar work done.

First I must say that the service is more than exceptional. They were very courteous and professional. They showed up much earlier than I expected and immediately wanted to see what the problem was. At the point, it immediately became apparent that my water heater was leaking. After some calls with the boss, they said they could put in a new one the same day. I was elated. They gave me an idea of what was going to happen next and they would get me up and running by 4:30. So one of the guys went to get a new water heater and together with the other guy, they wasted no time putting it in. They asked me to test everything, took the old one with them and left shortly thereafter. I will certainly use them again and again and highly recommend them if anyone is looking for a professional company that does exceptional service for not much money. They are totally awesome!!!!

CK's Plumbing and Backflow was wonderful to work with. They promptly returned calls, scheduled times and arrived when they said they would. All of the employees were very friendly and polite. Chris and his team are simply outstanding. I would never have found CK's if it weren't for Angie's List. On a very lousy Monday afternoon, my 6-year old noticed 'stripes' on the ceiling of her 2nd floor playroom. Yes, my 3rd floor, 6-year old hot water heater (with a 'lifetime' warranty) decided to cease performing it's required task - holding hot water. I immediately shut off the water to the tank located on our 3rd floor (who designed that plan?) and called Chris in a panic. Chris called Bob, and within 20 minutes, he arrived at our home, and cut off all water to the tank, and drained what he could. If you can find a plumber that responds to emergencies that quickly, hire them! We discussed replacement or a tankless installation. Chris did not push the latter option at all. Since our water heater was still under warranty, it would have been free to replace it. So, we called Home Depot to see what they would do and they referred us to the extended warranty outfit they contract with. This outfit said they could send someone out in a few days, but, since we had severed inflow and outflow pipes, the warranty was no longer valid. Really? We chose to go tankless -- it was a choice between a $1,450 replacement (because we would have added a feature to detect water in the pan) that might last another 6 years (until it started to leak) or go tankless for $2,700 (after the Angie's list coupon). No brainer. It is installed outside and our worries and 'ceiling stripes' days are behind us forever. CK's was awesome. They installed the tankless in an afternoon and we were all set. They had to re-plumb the underside of our home (crawl space) to accommodate our new heater. They were professional during the entire experience. I have subsequently recommended CK's to a friend and a neighbor (for a tankless installation). Both people are delighted with their results. Look no further. Use CK's. And, yes, Chris answers emails and telephone calls at all hours!

After checking Angies list I selected CK's plumbing and called Chris early that morning after we found water leaking in our wall at 3 am . He called back about an hour later and he came over to look at it that same morning. He told me he would be able to replace it after 12 the same day as he had a couple appts that morning. We were thrilled he was able to do it that day, especially after the snow we got a few days before. It only took about 2 hours and he also removed a garbage disposal we had been meaning to get rid of. He came himself with his employee Kyle, they were very professional and got right to work. Very happy with the job done!

My experience with CK's Plumbing & Backflow was okay. It was just an inspection. They did what they're supposed to do but I've never called them back.

Chris, Bob and Victor were on time and well prepared. They improved the plumbing from the pan to minimize water damage if the heater ever breaks. They were focused and efficient in their work to minimize the disruption. They were friendly and respectful. I trust their recommendations and will use them again.

They have done a very good job. They came when they said they would, knew what they were doing and have reasonable prices.

We initially contacted CK's Plumbing through their web site, but I decided to follow-up with a phone call just in case the e-mail from the website didn't go through. I got through right away to Chris, and explained our situation to him with the leaking hot water heater. Since he was out on a job, he asked if we could send him our contact information, address, etc via e-mail, and they would follow-up with us to arrange a time to take a look. So I immediately sent an e-mail with our information. Later that evening, we got a response asking if it would be OK to come out the next day to give us an estimate on the work. The next day, Bob from CK's Plumbing contacted us to arrange a time to meet him that day. He arrived right on time, so we went down to the crawlspace to take a look. Within 5 minutes, he was able to tell us the work that they would need to do and provided a free written estimate. In addition, Bob indicated that they could probably get started either later that week for the first of the next week. The amount they quoted was right in line with what I expected based on research I had done. Plus, we were planning to use $50 for $150 coupon from Angie's List. Also, the tankless unit that they were recommending was exactly the one that we had researched on-line (Rinnai RL94i). After talking it over, we decided to proceed with the work. So we sent an e-mail to Chris at CKS to ask a couple more questions, and see if we could schedule the work. Chris got back to us with answers soon after, and sent us an electronic version of the estimate. We confirmed the estimate with him, and asked to schedule the work. They told us they could do the work Wednesday of the following week, so we were good to go. On Monday, we got a call from Chris. Since they were predicting snow for Wednesday, he asked if it would be OK if they could move the work to Tuesday before the snow started. I was sort of expecting them to ask to move it later rather than sooner, so this was a pleasant surprise. We made arrangements to be at the house on Tuesday morning. Bob arrived right on time, and got started on the job. I was asking about how long we would be without water, etc., and they said they would let us know when there would be an interruption. I was sort of expecting the job to take all day. But 3 hours later, they asked for us to run the hot water for a bit to clear the lines and check to see that things were working. It was all looking good. We didn't even notice when the water was off, and the heater was already installed! Bob took me down, showed me the work, explained how the heater worked and how to adjust the temperature, etc. He also mentioned that the electrician would be out in the afternoon to install another electrical outlet next to the heater. So we went ahead and paid the full amount for the job. Later that afternoon, the electrician arrived and had the outlet installed within 30 minutes. Again, we checked things out after he was done, and it all looked really good. The only interesting thing was, the next day, when I went to take a shower, I noticed that the water wasn't as hot as the day before. I had remembered that, after checking the work after the electrician left, I thought I had seen a lower temperature reading on the tankless heater. But I hadn't paid much attention to it at the time. So I just figured that somehow the temp got reset to a lower number (perhaps due to temporary power loss). So all I had to do was follow Bob's instructions to adjust the temperature, and the hot water was back to normal. Bottom line is that we love the new tankless water heater and were thoroughly impressed and pleased by the work done by CK's Plumbing. Very professional, friendly, and easy to work with. We will definitely consider them again in the future when we have additional plumbing work.

CK's Plumbing and Backflow was excellent, I would put an "A", but if you're taking it over the phone, it was very good. I would give them whatever 5-star rating I could. They were very prompt, great job! We had some other minor jobs around the house and they did those also without making a fuss, if they needed to come back, one of the the jobs was major but he just fixed it. The professionalism was absolutely great.
