Ck?s bailed us out of a though situation. We had house guests coming for the weekend and had already spent several days without a working water heater. I already knew the water heater needed a full replacement and called around to get some quotes. CKs were friendly, prompt, organized and really seemed sympathetic to our need for a quick turnaround. CK?s was not our first quote so I knew what to expect and was familiar with current plumbing code in Wake County. Everything they told me was right on target with what I expected and the price quoted was very fair. The amazing part was the project turnaround time. From the time I hired them to the time of completion was half a day. Our weekend with guests won?t be spoiled and I know I got a fair price on the work performed. We couldn't be happier.

Finally good fed up with one of our toilets Friday night after having replaced countless parts over the years. So I researched Angie's List for plumbers and identified 3 well rated providers. I contacted all three by email on Saturday morning with the hope of lining up an installation for today (Monday). A short while later I received an email from Emily at CK Plumbing offering me a time slot for this afternoon I couldn't ask for a better response, and quite frankly one of the three plumbers I emailed has yet to even respond. I gave Emily a couple of toilet choices and they researched the prices and contacted me first thing this morning. Their pricing matched what I found at Lowes. Kyle contacted me when en route to the house this afternoon and he arrived consistent with the appointed time. Kyle and his assistant got right to work and did a first rate job with the installation. Further, he answered a number of questions that I had about plumbing and toilets, which was beneficial and not the thing that some plumbers will do. Once the job was completed Kyle cleaned everything up and was on his way. I was very pleased with the level of service from my initial contact with Emily to the work completed by Kyle. My sense is that CK Plumbing is a first rate provider and they are very service oriented. In terms of pricing, I did not compare pricing with a number of plumbers due to the quick turnaround time for the job. My sense based on past experience with plumbers is that CK Plumbing is right in the ballpark of what you will pay for this type of service, And further, you will be hard pressed to find another plumbing company that works any harder to give you genuine grade A service.

Chris arrived with a team of seven who got the whole house repiped in a day. Others who quoted 3 days to complete this job. They were professional and courteous and cleaned as the worked so they didn't leave a mess behind. Chris was at my house the day after the work was completed to walk through the work with the county inspector and everything went smoothly.

Very professional job. Work was top notch. The crew was on time and finished up exactly when they said they would. They got me in the schedule very quick to get the job done.

Owner on site and supervised service call. Very difficult job with cramped attic space and heat. Excellent follow up and everything done as stated in estimate including application for rebate. Very happy with work done and final charges.

Guys were fast, clean, and efficient. No complaints. There has already been a copper stub AND shutoff valve, so the job was pretty easy. A LITTLE steep for such a fast job, but hey, at least I didnt have to sweat pipes.

Chris took the time to talk with us, and explain the difference in gas water heaters, so that we could choose a quality one for installation. They were fair in pricing and honored our coupon, bought the day we scheduled the appointment. Integrity, Responsiveness, and Quality work -- for us this is a winning combination, and we would hire them again.

I called CK Plumbing, and Christie, the customer service rep, answered promptly and set up an appointment for James to come out and assess the situation. James called 20 minutes before the scheduled appt. time to inform me he was on the way. When he arrived at the front door, he immediately placed clean plastic covers over his shoes so as not to soil my carpet and floors. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. He identified the problems and fixed the drainage issues in all the sinks and fixed the phantom flushing noises in the toilets. He then scheduled a time to come out the next day to replace the kitchen faucet and sprayer, which was 16 years old. A patch job on the enamel in one of the toilets had worn off in the bathroom, making it necessary to replace the commode. James came back the next day with a shiny new kitchen faucet and sprayer and installed them in the kitchen sink. He also brought and installed a new toilet bowl. It was nicer than the previous one because the seat was higher, making it easier for my 85-year-old mother. Everything he fixed in the kitchen and the bathrooms worked out great. He also fixed something with the hot water because James discovered that the hot and cold water lines had been crossed awhile back. I used to have to run the hot water for three minutes before it would warm up. Now it warms up in less than a minute. That was something I didn?t even know could be fixed. My experience with CK Plumbing was excellent and I would use them again.

They flushed the tankless water heater with a diluted acid solution, a routine procedure that was made more difficult due to the user-unfriendly design of the unit. While they were at it, they discovered a leaky compression joint on the water service line and fixed it, saving me money on the water bill. Then they fixed an annoying problem with hot water cutoff that happens during mixed hot-cold usage. Now everything works fine.

Everything went well. Very pleased.

called to see if they could come earlier than the app. we had scheduled. On time, went upstairs cleaned out drain, showed me that it was draining properly, I paid him and then he was gone. I can't say enough about how smoothly and responsive CK's Plumbing was. My water heater started leaking Monday night and I called CK's the next morning to have some come out and take a look. Bob showed up within an hour or two of my call and looked everything over. I decided to go with a tankless water heater due to size restrictions and Bob scheduled me for the next day to get everything installed. They were very thorough and professional. Removing the old water heater was quite the job but the got it out and got the new tankless heater hooked up in just a few hours. I thought they did an excellent job with everything and I will use these guys for every plumbing job in the future as well. Excellent company and great customer service as well... We are very satisfied with everything.

Service rep was Kyle - he was punctual, friendly, and competent. Would recommend again.

CK's came to fix a bathroom flush issue, and they also identified a water heater problem, which they promptly fixed.

Leaking water heater, and CK's came and installed new water heater within 24 hrs, and very reasonable price also. Very pleased, and would definitely use CK's again.

Another plumbing company came out four days earlier to repair a sewer line clog. While digging in the area, they cracked and broke the sewer main outside my house. The owner of the other company refused to fix or accept responsibility for the damage. After reading the positive reviews of CK's Plumbing on Angie's List, I asked them to come out, evaluate the damage and give me an estimate on the cost to fix it. They actually arrived early, gave me a very reasonable estimate, and even offered to do the work the same day. They replaced not only the damaged parts outside my house, but inside the wall they replaced the backflow and several other valves, and even part of the main water supply line, which was 20 years old. They really went above and beyond my expectations, even replanting the plant that the previous company dug up and left sitting out to die. I will definitely use them for my plumbing needs in the future and I give them my highest recommendation.

These guys were freaking great!!! I called 5 businesses on Monday and they were one of two companies that could make it out. I had a 60ft x 20ft pool of standing water going from my front yard into and flooding my neighbors yard. They scheduled the job for Thursday at 8 a.m. and were finished with everything and INSPECTED by 12:30 p.m. 1.) I have a partially wooded 1/2 acre lot and they ran the ditch-witch from the street around and between two groups of trees. They also used a PVC outer line to protect the new main water line since my tree roots were so dense. If something happens again, in 30yrs, hopefully we can simply pull a new line through the existing PVC. The H2O line under house had to be updated to code since the line was replaced. A new cut off was added 3ft from the entry way to the crawl space door and pressure valve added to reduce H2O pressure to house and outer faucets. All items inspected and good to go!! 2.) Added external faucet to side of house which I asked them to do on the fly and they did it. 3.) Replaced existing front faucet and ran new lines. 4.) Replaced existing H2O line to fridge with 1/2 inch line and added a cut off valve so I can turn off the water to the fridge in the kitchen. This was another on the fly add-on they guys were more than happy to do for me. I can make ice and have cold water from my fridge now. I waited a month it's Aug. 12 to make this entry in case I had issues. I have had no issues and will always call these guys for any future work. I've also recommended them to my friends and neighbors. Water pressure in my house is actually better now than it was so I wonder if my water line was pinched by a tree root the past 10yrs I've lived in this 34yr old house. I would like to thank, Chris, Bob,Keira and Matt for fixing my water main disaster.

That turned out great. Just one technician came out and it took him about 3 hours. He was efficient. The new model was the same as the one I currently had and the quality of that is good. He also disposed the old water heater for us.

I called them to address a sink that hadn't been draining in quite some time. There was no hurry, so we scheduled a time for them to come out the next week, and they were about 30 minutes early. They assessed the sink, and determined that it was actually the stopper. They gave me two options: (1) replace the stopper, which would mean either ordering a new part (since my since is an odd ball and their piece didn't fit), or (2) leave it without a stopper and let it drain freely. I chose the second option, and there we have it. Completely happy.

It went well; he did it the next day for us. He was totally awesome and we will use him again.

I called CK's plumbing after several others said they were too busy. At this point my water heater was leaking pretty badly and starting to do some damage. The woman who answered the phone said they could schedule an appointment in a few days as they too were pretty busy. I set up the appointment. Shortly after she called me back and said she had spoken with the owner and they could fit me in for the next morning. Kyle and his helper showed up early, looked at the unit, and called the owner to get an estimate. The price was more than fair, and the owner told them to go ahead and throw in a new drip pan for free as the old one was for a washing machine. That saved me twenty five dollars. By that night I had hot water. The installation was clean, everything was picked up, the old water heater was taken away, and the guys did a great job. The plumber I had been using was too busy to fit me in. Now I have a new plumber. I will use CK's again without hesitation. And on top of doing a nice job, they checked back a few days later to make sure I was happy. Good work and good customer service!

Kyle called to let me know that he was on his way. He and Trevor got straight to work and took time to explain what they were doing and what my options were, given my budget concerns. They worked efficiently and professionally. They were both pleasant to deal with, and I especially appreciated how they didn't need to be told to close the door so my indoor cats wouldn't get out. They left the place quite tidy as well. I have been looking for a new plumber since I was tired of having plumbers do work, only to have to call them back again when the problem reoccurred. I was extremely satisfied with the service provided and will certainly use CK's Plumbing again.
