Chris and his crew showed up on time, back hoed a trench about 4-6 feet down by 40 feet through a section of our driveway and rerouted/replaced a section of our sewer pipe and water supply pipe. It was done in a timely and professional manner and landscape restored to the original grade in one day.

Responded promptly with plenty of help and got it done quickly. The price was a high but can't beat the response and get it done approach.

This is the third time we have used CK's Plumbing and each time we've been very pleased. As always, they communicated clearly to us when they were coming and arrived on time. On this occasion several chronically slow running drains were resolved as well as a couple of other minor issues. Each was repaired in a timely fashion and the billing for services was reasonable. Very pleased once again with CK Plumbing.

The technician quickly identified and corrected the problem. He was polite, prompt, and got right to the project.

CK Plumbing was very helpful, courteous, and on time. They did a great job installing our gas lines, including cleaning up afterwards. Both Chris and Willie were very friendly and answered all of my questions. Look forward to using them again.

Email with picture attachment sent to request estimate for replacing the shower fixture and a call back same day to schedule an appointment for the following week. The plumbers arrived timely on the scheduled appointment day. They went to work quickly and installed the new fixture. They kept the area clean (a section of wallboard had to be removed to get to the pipes) and took the debris with them. They did a very nice job and I would recommend their work.

They were very good at communication and very punctual. They had to cut a hole in the downstairs bathroom ceiling which revealed the source of the leak which was from the upstairs toilet. They said we needed to leave the hole open to dry out. Not sure how long we need to leave it open for, it still appears wet. They left a pipe tie/support (I don't know it's correct name) undone. I will consider using them again but will get a price quote first.

It all went well... Scheduled a week out (on my account); they were prompt and professional. They did a great job determining where the loose pipes were rattling - on the first shot; they diagnosed and replaced a bad expansion tank on the water heater. I have used CK's many times before, but just haven't taken the time to review them. In all cases they have done a high quality job at a reasonable price.

Our remodeling project has been very smooth with the exception of finding a decent plumbing company. We have used 4 different plumbing companies!!!! One franchised plumbing service we asked to leave our home after paying $189 service call just to provide us with crazy quote on a simple fix that I ended up doing myself. The second plumbing company is well known for their advertising and fleet of trucks, but over-quoted the project that we had a discounted coupon for (saving $91 on a project that they overpriced by $174). CK Plumbing was called in to reseat a toilet for $100 that the 2 larger companies priced at $270-$275. We also had them extend a hot water line and to prepare our kitchen plumbing for a cabinet install. CK Plumbing was on time, priced fairly, and had done quality work. We would have used them for kitchen sink installation, with the exception that we had a dishwasher installation that was included in a sale price and felt that 4th company do the kitchen sink plumbing to be more efficient. I would recommend getting a quote from CK before doing any plumbing. We plan on remodeling our Master Bath next year and will have them quote that project as well.

Easy and quick to set up appt. for installation. Plumber arrived within the time window given. He replaced my old faucet with the new one - took about 50 minutes. Checked for leaks, arm swing (single handle), temperature control and water pressure. Everything went fine!

Kyle, the plumber, and his assistant (sorry I forgot his name) arrived on time. He explained what they were going to do and how they would proceed with the installation. All work was done in a professional manner. There were some problems with the new water heater; but, Kyle handled the problems. The new water heater installation looks cleaner and tidier than the original installation. They did an excellent job of cleanup afterward. Kyle explained the operation of the new system. I used the Angie's List coupon. I have used CK's Plumbing previously and have always been pleased. Highly recommended.

The technician was punctual and very professional. He diagnosed all of the problems and determined his course of action. He called and checked with me to make sure I was ok with the price of the replacement parts before he bought them. Although the whole visit was a little pricey, I am not sure if any other plumbing company would have been any less. All in all, I was very pleased.

Kyle and his team did a great job! The work was done thoroughly and efficiently. Kyle and his team were professional and very helpful in explaining of any potential problems. I would definitely use CK Plumbing?s services again in the near future.

The toilet outflow pipe has a rubber collar connecting the pipe right from the toilet to the pipe leading to the septic main line. It is known as a FirmCo Collar. This collar slipped down so that some of the waste water was leaking under the house. I was unable to put it back myself because the two pipes did not match up perfectly. When I made my appointment, I was asked how I had heard of them. When I mentioned it was through Angie's List, I was told to be sure to mention this at the time the invoice would be created for a 5% discount on labor. The appointment was scheduled from 8 to 9am. At 8:35am they phoned me to let me know they would arrive in about 20 minutes. Two gentlemen from CK's arrived at around 9:05am. They went under the house (crawlspace) and examined the issue. They then re-seated the collar and made sure the hose clamps were tight. Then they added a strap to the main pipe right under the collar to relieve any strain and hopefully prevent future issues. They then had me flush the toilet five times and run water in the bathroom sink and tub to check for leaks. I was told the bathtub had a minor leak and that the piping for the tub had not be done correctly. I had previously detected a very minor leak in that area. I was told that the amount it was leaking was not a serious issue and that it was up to me whether to fix it. I got an estimate to re-pipe the tub of $400. It is unlikely this will be done but I am now aware of the issue and can watch for it and decide in the future what to do. Overall, I am very happy with the work done. Quick and professional service.

CK's Plumbing did absolutely wonderful work. They were quick to schedule around our availability. Everyone we spoke with was professional and friendly. Bob was an absolute pro. Whoever did the plumbing work under our kitchen sink prior to us buying the house, did a terrible job! However, Bob wasn't phased. He completed the job in well under an hour and explained everything he was doing. We won't hesitate to recommend CK to our friends and neighbors and we will definitely be using them again for all our future plumbing needs.

Service providers were prompt and professional. They were called to repair a leak and provide an estimate for a new hot water heater. The work was done quickly. The hot water estimate was high I thought but they were able to install a new one that morning. Since I was able to get immediate service, I was willing to pay the price.

We noticed that our hot water was coming out yellowish, and leaving a film/sediments on the bottom of the bathtub, but the cold was running clear. Being first time homeowners, we called CK's to get a professional opinion on what was going on. Sean and Kyle spelled out all the options, showed me an easy fix that I can do myself in the future, and were extremely helpful in giving me advice on how to maintain the water heater. I really appreciated their openness and honesty. Sean and Kyle were fast and professional, and their kindness has earned them our future business. Thanks so much!

CK's Plumbing was the 3d plumber in our house to fix a leak in the ceiling from a 2d story bathroom. The first two plumbers misdiagnosed the problem. CK's located and fixed the problem (a faulty pipe joint connection) in about 10 minutes. Highly professional, the expert technician was accompanied by an apprentice (which was great to see--our society needs more trained and experienced experts in their field). Highly recommend and would definitely use again.

CK Plumbing did a fantastic job re-piping (polybutylene) our entire home. Every person (initial estimate, administration, installation, inspection) at CK was courteous, professional and competent. CK used 8 plumbers and re-piped our entire 3000 sq ft 3 ½ bath home in just 6 hours. In addition to being courteous and efficient they did very high quality work. It was a pleasure working with these people. We would definitely use them again.

Came to fix my kitchen pipe quickly and did a great job.

My gas hot water heater sprung a leak this morning. Having never needed a plumber in NC I didn't know who to call so I turned to Angie's list and found CK Plumbing & Backflow LLC. I called and left a message and got a call within a relaatively short time frame. CK Plumbing was able to send someone over within a few hours but had a plumber contact me directly to talk me through turning off the heater to stop the leaking. They looked at the leaking heater and knew it needed to be replaced. They were able to get a new heater brought to my house and got it installed that afternoon. CK Pluming was fast, responsive, helpful, friendly, and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

I'll definitely call CK's for my future plumbing needs. The result of the under-sink work is more space under the cabinet, and the elimination of the previous flexible bellow fittings and rat's nest of plumbing that was the old setup. For the crawlspace work, it's all neatly run and crimped and mounted securely to joists. When one of the fittings they used (a Sharkbite) to connect the new PEX plumbing and old house copper plumbing developed a leak, another call and another appointment was scheduled, during which in less than half an hour they replaced the fitting with a more secure connection that was leak free, at no charge. They gave me a 10-12 window for their arrival and pretty much showed at up at 12 sharp both times, and called when they were on their way. But in short, always friendly staff, excellent and quick work, and plumbing that now works significantly better than what I had. Thumbs up!

I was very pleased. They were reasonable, professional, and did it within a reasonable time frame. I would definitely use them again!
