Description of Work: Chris was recommended by my parents after he installed their hot water heater. I called him because my hot water heater was leaking, or so I thought. He asked several questions before coming out and then came to let me know that it was not in fact the water heater, it was an air conditioner issue and the pipe was blocked and though he knew what it was that was not his line of work so instead of messing it up or charging more he recommended Austin Heating and Cooling (also awesome) and there was no charge for the visit. How amazing!!! I will continue to use Chris for all my plumbing needs!

Description of Work: They came when they said they would, checked out the problem and did not charge me for a no plumbing problem found(even though it was raining and on a Sunday). Many others would "find" a problem and charge, but these guys are honest and for real. would use them again without hesitation!

Description of Work: This is the way that every company that does business with the public should perform. They came to discuss what we needed and gave us an estimate. They came to do the job when they said they would. They did the job perfectly. They gave us advice on how to save money and get better service out of our fixtures. We asked about an additional small job that we wanted done in the future and they did that at the same time and did not charge us for it. It doesn't get any better than this. If every business operated the way CK'sPlumbing does there would be no dissatisfied consumers and the economy might even be better.

Description of Work: After speaking with Chris when he fixed my water heater on Fathers Day My wife and I decided to have the water heater upgraded to a 50 gallon. Also our water heater was over 10 years old and was in need of replacement. They made an appointment to come in less than 3 days after we called them and did a great job just as last time. I have total faith in this company.

Description of Work: Our hot water heater would not stay lit. Thermal Couple was bad. We called our home warranty people and they said it would take24- 48 hrs just to hear back from a tech to schedule an appointment. We didn't have any hot water. As we know taking a cold shower doesn't work for a 5 year old. I researched Angie's List and found CKs number and Chris answered the phone. I told him my issue and he said he would come right out. He did and he fixed the problem quickly and neatly. This all sounds like what we would expect from a service provider but here is the kicker. It was Sunday.....FATHERS DAY..... I am already scheduling my next service with him.

Description of Work: 2 days before Christmas, Our bathtub fixture blew out and could not be turned off. Consequently, we had to turn off the hot water for whole house. I was expecting company Christmas and two days after that. I was devastated. We called Angies list and on the third call the nicest man said he would be out at 9:00 the next morning. He made Christmas for us and his rate was just normal. We did not want to keep him on Christmas eve so we just ask him to put a washer in so we could cut back on the hot water. I just can't say enough about this knight in shining armour. God bless his business. He was very professional. Thank you.

Description of Work: I would highly recommend Chris. My water bill had gone from $50/mo to $79/mo to $97/mo. First I had the town of Cary come out and they determined it was not the new meter that went in Sept 1, 2011. As a result, I thought I had a leak in the house. I had Chris come out and do the whole house inspection for $59. In addition, I had him fix a few minor things with the plumbing in the house and he was very, very reasonable. After he determined that the leak was not in the house he concluded that it was from the water meter to the house. Once they dug the trench from the water meter to the house it was clear by the water in the trench that this was the leak. Chris was very proactive in getting the town's permits to fix the leak. He also coordinated the town inspector to come out to meet with me after the leak was fixed to get the town to approve the repairs. Chris subcontracted with someone to come out and dig the ditch. He was not pleased with the subcontrator's work and told me so. The ditch was not as deep as he needed. Chris worked probably about 6 hours to replace the water line after digging the ditch deeper. He replaced the water line (by the way it is much smaller than you would expect). The subcontractor was to come out and complete the work. Unfortunately I ended up with a dirt speed bump in my front yard and the rock border around the bushes was not replaced. I contacted Chris and he immediately had the subcontractor back. However, the speed bump was fixed but the rock border was sitting still in the front yard. I again contacted Chris and he personally came back and replaced the rock border. I spoke with Chris tonight and he is no longer using this subcontractor. Yahoo! I have to tell you that I work also in a service industry with people and sometimes it is difficult to know whether someone else you hire is doing the excellent job you want to produce. Chris has done all of the right things to have a successful business. He is responsive to issues and complaints and addresses them in a positive manner and make changes in his business model based on feedback. You could not ask more of someone you hire! I handled these issues in a calm and professional manner ( I think that is is important. If you put someone on the defensive they can (not saying that Chris would) respond defensively. ) and so did Chris. I cannot tell you enough about how much I value Chris. He is a young man doing all of the right things to build a successful business. I will not call anyone else in the future.

Description of Work: The tub faucet knob was dripping. An inside part was replaced. I didn't know how to shut off the main water supply and was able to purchase a key to shut it off. If something major happens I 'am ready to handle it.

Description of Work: Repaired leaky faucet in bathtub. Did not see the coupon reflected in the price/quote, but he charged what he said he would charge. Had been dealing with leaky faucet for two or three years and one attempted repair by another vendor who did not fix the propblem, so I'm happy.

Description of Work: Chris fixed my non-flushing toilet in about 15 minutes-he was pleasant & prompt. I would definitely use him again!
