Carolina Blind Crafters: Blinds, Shades, Shutters

Customer service and quality cannot be beat. Ben, the owner, did everything from beginning to end. He came with several samples of the type of shade we wanted, helped us to choose the right ones for each room, ordered and installed them. He had taken perfect measurements because each one fits precisely as it should. We are 100% satisfied with the shades. Ben's wife Sarah does the scheduling, ordering, and accounting. It's great to support a family-owned local business, especially one that is so outstanding in every way.

Ben was awesome to deal with and the installation was flawless. The blinds look fantastic and already are receiving compliments with friends asking where I bought them!

Amazing Service! From the first visit with Sarah to select the type of shades and colors, to the last installation appointment with Ben we received outstanding service. This was our third company. The first gave a quote, but when it came time to place the order, increased the prices 50%! The second tried to upgrade every request I had, and the bid came in at 3 times what my budget was. Sarah found beautiful products that I could afford and no surprise price increases. There was no pressure to purchase, they kept us informed of everything all along the way, and the windows look beautiful.

On time with first visit to select and with measurement visit and installation. Ben, the installer was good at keeping me posted on his arrival times and was efficient with the installation.

Very good experience. Sarah was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. She was very patient with me as I had her quote many variations of window coverings. I never felt any sales pressure. I was very pleased with the quality and the installation. Ben was very communicative and professional.

Sarah brought samples to our house, answered our questions, and provided her expert guidance on best solutions for our window covering needs without any sales pressure. This way, we felt we could make the best choices for the windows in each room. Ben worked with our schedule to make the installation easy and convenient for us. His process was very methodical and efficient, and he took the care to use a drop cloth where he opened all the new supplies so no dust or debris would be left behind. They both worked seamlessly with us to add more blinds on to our initial order. The entire process was easy for us, and we're delighted with the results. The pricing seemed very reasonable to get high quality blinds and shades and have them installed so quickly and perfectly!

Great. Very knowledgeable and professional. I have casement windows and it is hard to get the blinds situated correctly in these windows due to the latches. In addition some windows do not open and so they are more set back requiring an adjustment in how the blind is set in to match the other 2 which do have latches and do open.. Point is, it takes a professional, knowledgeable installer to get the blinds to look the same when your eye moves across a bank of 3 windows. They know what they are doing and are super nice too.

It went really well. The installer was a super nice guy who also installed brackets in 10 windows for blinds we got elsewhere. Took him all of 40 minutes.

Sarah Berger was our primary contact. There are no other words to describe her but AWESOME. We were living in NYC and were getting our house ready to have shades installed. She FaceTimed with me to take a look at the interior of the house, she met with me for final details (we both found out that the combination of roller shades and blinds brought the initial quote significantly down!), and even delivered temporary shades when the items was delayed in production. Not only that, when she dropped the temporary shades at our place, she saw that there was a package delivered by FedEx just lying on the front of our garage and even offered to bring it over to the front porch so they wouldn't get rained on! What kind of service is that!? She's been nothing but amazing and helpful throughout the entire experience. Ben was the one who installed the items - one man installing crew! He just left our home a few minutes ago and I wrote this review straight out. The entire installation took two hours for the entire house. He was very professional and quick about the entire job, did the clean up and was very considerate in removing his shoes before coming in to the house. It was very thoughtful and considerate - again, something that wasn't expected but definitely appreciated. My husband and I DEFINITELY highly recommend this company. We really cannot say anything negative about the entire experience!

Everything went very smoothly. One apt to pick the blinds we wanted, then once our new windows were installed, someone came out to measure and order the blinds. They even provided temporary shades to give us some privacy until the blinds came in. Delivery was in a week, and installation was quick and painless. Overall, excellent experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Response and service was prompt and communication excellent. I will use them again if I need additional replacements or service relating to my current Hunter Douglas products.

Sarah was very patient and helpful for in home consult and estimate. Blinds were ready in specified timeframe. Ben was flexible in arranging appt and install was prompt and efficient. We are happy with our blinds and would use Carolina Blind Crafters again.

We had considered ordering blinds online and installing them ourselves but CBC was able to do the job for us for the same cost. They were more knowledgeable about appropriate options for our window fittings and brought samples right to us so it was very convenient. Can't say enough about how attentive and professional they were at every step in the process. Ben was able to install all the new blinds in less than an hour and they look fantastic. Glad to give a strong review to a local company that does a quality job.

Very professional. Karen - designer came to our home and did the measurement and price quote. Ben was the installer- very punctual, efficient and did a super nice job.We had to choose a different material due to technical reasons and Ben helped a lot with the process. Cost very reasonable- even in comparision with big box stores. Am happy with their work

This company is pretty awesome. First a consultant came out with numerous samples and did a rough estimate. Her estimate ended up being significantly less than Lowes Home Improvement for both better materials and a better installation. She was super informative and did not hesitate to suggest better options when appropriate. After the estimate, the installer came out for exact measurements, and then blinds were ordered. They were very concious of asking about what sides cords should mount on, whether transoms should be covered, etc. Blinds and shades arrived seperately, and were promptly installed. The installer had an exceptional attitude, very friendly and professional, and was very careful with the house and made sure everything was well installed. Of all the contractors I worked with getting details sorted with my new house, Carolina Blinds Crafters was the absolute best and I would recommend them unequivocally.

From the very first call, the response was immediate and very professional. Numerous samples were provided during an in-home visit. Many options were discussed and all questions were answered. The products ordered are an excellent value. The shades and blinds look great but the majority of our windows are covered in plantation shutters and they are fabulous! A sample was brought to our home and was fully explained in terms of quality and functionality. The installation of all of the products was exceptional. We couldn't be happier with this product and the quality of this company. All calls are immediately returned and install appointments are timely. As mentioned, the installers are very qualified and the end result is wonderful. We highly recommend this company!

Karen came out for the initial contact and did a prelim measure, helped me choose products, and gave me a written quote that was then emailed to me. Owner Ben came out and did a final measure. I paid half of the balance before they ordered the window treatments. Ben did the installation and made sure that everything was perfect and I paid remainder of the balance due after I checked everything out. I would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend this family-owned business. They are perfectionists and are very focused on customer service.

Entire process went well. Worked with Michelle and Ben, who were both great. The entire team was easy to work with and responsive. They came to our home to show us examples of blinds. The installation went well and they kept in contact with us the entire time. Overall, very professional, pleasant, and on time. Would recommend and use again.

The product and service could not have been better. We were referred to them by our neighbors who recently added on the same style sunroom. Michelle, the design consultant, came out to our home and showed us the options that would work best. The double cell honeycomb was the winner and she helped us find a nice neutral fabric to match the rest of the room. They promised us install within three weeks, which they delivered on. The installer was pleasant and very thorough with the installation. The shades are exactly what we wanted and look/function great. We will be contacting them again shortly to replace some other treatments in our home.
