Description of Work: Baker replaced our aging roof and gutter guards. Some soffet repair was completed as well. The crew was prompt and very professional and the work began on the day promised 2 months earlier. The job site was thoroughly cleaned at the end of each day and the project manager was on site daily, providing progress updates and making sure that my concerns were addressed. The job took 1 additional day to complete than originally anticipated. Overall this was a very good experience and I have no reservations about recommending Baker roofing to friends and neighbors.

Description of Work: I got a quote from Baker along with two other quotes to have my roof done. The salesman was professional and seemed to know his field well. However, Baker was almost twice as much as the other quotes I got for the same scope of work using the same materials. I elected not to use Baker.

Description of Work: What did they do? |The roof area of my house is approximately 5200 sq. ft. Baker Roofing set up protection for plants and shrubs around the work area; removed the original GAF architectural shingles, felt, flashings, drip edge, and pipe boots; replaced eleven sheets of plywood; installed kick-outs where needed, Owens-Corning fiberglass reinforced felt, GAF WeatherWatch professional grade leak barrier around penetrations and valleys, black aluminum apron flashing, black aluminum drip edge, black aluminum flashing along brick walls, Owens-Corning Duration Architectural shingles, ridge vents, ridge caps, and Never-Leak pipe boots; sealed gable vents; and throughly cleaned the work area at the end of each day. Baker Roofing also provided a ten-year written workmanship warranty. I also purchased the Owens-Corning System Warranty. |How did it go? |Baker Roofing met my expectations based on the online comments I read about Baker Roofing and my expectation of a company that has been in business for 100 years. Each person that was a part of this project was very knowledgable and professional. I appreciate their attention to detail and objective assessments. The crew that performed the work was very organzied and effective.

Description of Work: New roof. Took off old singles and replaced them with new ones.

Description of Work: Estimated cost of cleaning my gutters and removing gutter guards. A lot of formalities and took a long time to get estimate. Did not use.

Description of Work: Workers replaced rotted wood siding with a new piece of siding and replaced a portion of rotted wood panel by a gutter downspout at the front of the house. Workers were punctual, easy to work with, and were professional.The only thing I wish they could have offered as part of the deal was to paint the wood and the siding upon completion (this was not a part of the deal, though).

Description of Work: They came to the house for an estimate on reroofing. Was very thorough in measuring and then in explaining the estimate in detail. Very professional and would have used them if not for getting a proposal from someone else that would do basically the same job and was less expensive. I would recommend them for a friend or relative as an good option to local roofers.

Description of Work: I needed a new roof. I got to pick out the color and style and they did the rest. It was a smooth and stress-free project. They replace the attic fan and all the other items on the roof so everything looks clean and new.

Description of Work: Baker Roofing completely replaced by aging cedar shake roof with a premium architectural shingle. It was a huge job to remove the old shakes and install all new shingles. It took 5 days to replace and install 70 squares of roof. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up and did an outstanding job of installing new shingles. They were extremely responsive to my questions and concerns and did many extras that I did not expect. Baker Roofing was the most professional home service I have ever received. I could not be happier with our new roof and with Baker Roofing.
