The price was 5-10% higher than others. The impression that I have is the amount of the Angie's List coupon is added to the final cost before the customer sees the amount and then shown as a reduction in final value for the customer. I was not able to fully validate this use of the coupon. The company has a very professional presentation package. The sales representative was competent and helpful. I disucssed the pricing and competitive alternatives with the sales manager. The sales manager was unwilling to change the pricing or offer any alternative. I was willing to pay some premium but the manager lost my business.

Even though this is my first house and first roof and gutter replacement, I knew what to expect, having helped build 3 houses in the past. Greg from Baker Roofing was very knowledgeable during the sales consultation and explained the process in detail. Hector and his crew showed up as scheduled and proceeded to wow me with their efficiency and professionalism. Barring missing one day due to weather, the roof was finished in three days. Gutters were put on that Friday, and Hector also stopped by to finish up some small odds and ends. With the exception of some wayward nails that I have found in the yard, which is to be expected on a complete re-roofing job, the crew from Baker Roofing took care in cleaning up the jobsite and protecting the ground and landscaping. Bottom line is that I have a new roof and gutters that look great and had a nice experience with Baker Roofing Company. The final cost of the job was higher than the estimate, but that was due to the extent of all of the roof decking and fascia that had to be replaced during the job that was not known about prior to the initial estimate. I plan on using them again for new windows in the future.

They were my second choice, and I would have gone with them but went with another company due to some other reasons. Their pricing was good, and I really liked the guy.

Promptly set appointment and came to our home to view concerns. Ignacio was very professional and even called ahead to inform us that he would be a few minutes late. He had a ladder and climbed up to view concern areas and offered advice and services that his company could offer to rectify problems. He even recommended a few other concern areas (gutters) that I then was able to address on my own. A few days later we received his professional quote via email. In the end we elected to go with another reputable company who offered comparable services at a lower price, though I would definitely call them again in the future for another opportunity as necessary.

Very responsive to request for and estimate and scheduling a repair appointment. Was told that there was a minimum charge of $ 300.00 for small repair jobs. He estimated that our work would cost $ 345.00. They were recommended to me, so I did not seek any additional estimates. I am estimating they had a total of 1 1/2 hours invested in this job.

I see a lot of Baker Roofing trucks around Raleigh. I called them for an estimate on repairing a roof leak. The estimator arrived, did a thorough inspection including photos so I could see what he was talking about, provided an estimate, and invited me to phone back when we made up our mind. I asked about some additional work to replace the roof fans and they added that to the estimate. We got estimates from two other companies and decided on Baker, so we accepted their estimate and scheduled the job. The workers arrived when scheduled, performed the repair work, cleaned up after themselves. I saw the work in progress and felt they were doing a thorough repair, rather than just a patch job. Baker sent an invoice within a week. I like that they asked for money only when the job was complete to our satisfaction.

The Baker crew performed all identified work to contract. Damaged wall studs, window header, and minor interior damage was investigated and costs were detailed on a change order before work proceeded. All work was satisfactory and Baker arranged to take care of details such as patching/painting and work area cleanup. We were very satisfied with the work crew and results.

Baker is very professional. They came with an extensive crew and completed the project in under 2 days. They communicated clearly about the extent of decking to be replaced, so there were no surprises on the invoice. Their clean up was impeccable. After the project was finished, project manager Brad Kibbe walked us around the house to point out various issues, and showed us photos he had taken of the rotted decking. He even climbed up and put back a piece of siding that had come loose from a wind storm (not from the roofing experience). (our house is 1926 construction and had not been well maintained be previous owners). Oh, and the total cost was less than other bids.

They did a very good job but they were a little expensive.

They were really professional and seemed well prepared in giving us information.

It was very positive. They came when they said they were going to come. They came while we were out, so we didn't even notice that they had been there, except that the roof was fixed. The price was a tiny bit higher than some of the other quotes, but they were willing to do what I wanted done, while the other people were trying to push me to do the whole roof.

They have always done the work as they promised and I have never had any problems with their work. They seem to be pretty skilled and have very good experience.

Roof installation went without a hitch. The crew did a beautiful job, including repair of damage that was evident when old roof was removed. Took months to get the gutters installed, apparently because the fellow handling the contract fell ill.

They were honest as they told me that my roof was in a good shape and it did not need any additional work. They were punctual and professional.

As a longtime homeowner and professional property manager, I've hired numerous firms to perform countless jobs, both large and small...this project was the most successful yet. The salesman, Donnie Brandt, was quick to respond to our call for a quote. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. When placing the order, we asked for a specific time-frame for installation, which he facilitated. The installation supervisor, Ariel Perez, was outstanding. He was in contact with us before, during and after the job. He patiently answered questions and quickly addressed all concerns...work was performed exactly as he had detailed/promised. His crew was terrific...very skilled and hard-working. When I commented to Ariel how well they worked together, I learned that they had been on the same crew for seven years...and it showed. This was simply the best experience I've ever had with any type of repair or renovation.

Thy did a pretty good job, but they made a mess of the attic, they did come back and clean the attic. They were a little disappointing since they did have to come back and fix problems. The crew did not speak English.

The job exceed my expectations. I was very impressed by the condition they left my yard in.

I was very impressed with the foreman of this company. He got on the roof and took digital pictures of the bad spots, came down and showed me what was wrong and told me what needed to be done to fix it. The sales guy was fabulous also as he made sure that he kept in contact with me. When they were done, there was a problem with a spot that had been discussed and figured into the price to be repaired. I called the sales guy and he sent the crew the very next day, no hassle and no problem. Our roof is great and there is no leaks or no problems. The gutters went up with out too much trouble and they look great. There is a warranty and guarantee on the work and the materials used. I was so pleased that they took into consideration all of our landscaping. They made sure that they covered everything and all of the nails and junk was picked up.

THEY CAME OUT AND SAID THEY WOULD EMAIL THE ESTIMATE TO ME. IT WAS A SMALL JOB. WE JUST NEEDED THE STACK SEALS REPLACED. WE CONTACTED THEM 3 TIMES AND NEVER RECEIVED THE ESTIMATE. I GUESS THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN LARGE $ VOLUME. IF YOUR JOB IS SMALL DON'T BOTHER WITH THEM.

THEY ARE A WELL RUN COMPANY. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THEY KNOW HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE TO GET THE JOB DONE, AND THEY HELP YOU ON YOUR EXPENSES.

WE CHECKED AROUND FOR PRICES, AND BAKER ROOFING WAS REASONABLE. THEY WERE NOT TOO HIGH AND NOT TOO LOW. THEY WERE VERY PERSONABLE AND HARD WORKERS. IT ONLY TOOK TWO AND HALF DAYS FROM START TO FINISH.

I AM HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS THAT I HAVE SEEN WITH THE NEW SHINGLES. THEY LOOK GOOD AND I HAVEN'T NOTICED ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM SINCE THE WORK HAS BEEN DONE. I WOULD REFER THEM TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS WORK DONE ON THEIR ROOF.

THEY WERE RECOMMENDED TO ME BY A FRIEND. I THOUGHT THEY GAVE ME A FAIR PRICE. THE WORK THEY DID WAS GOOD, SO I USED THEM ON MY OTHER HOUSE. THEY GAVE ME A TIMELINE OF TWO OR THREE DAYS AND THEY FINISHED UP ON TIME.

THEY WERE VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD. THEY CAME AND GOT THE JOB DONE FAST. WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID FOR US. THEY ALSO CAME AND GAVE US AN ESTIMATE OF WHAT THE COST WOULD BE.

THERE WAS A STORM COMING AND THEY CAME EARLY AND GOT THE JOB DONE IN ONLY TWO DAYS SO THAT THE STORM WOULD NOT DO ANY DAMAGE TO MY HOME. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM.
