They did a great job. All the workers were documented. There was always an on-site supervisor. They cleaned up every day. They came back for any issues we had. I got what I paid for and I was satisfied. The quality, punctuality, and professionalism was great. I would use them again in the future if needed.

I initially posted the estimate process that went very well. Now, the work has been completed and I am very satisfied with the entire process from start to finish. After confirming the type of shingles desired, the work started within two weeks from submission of our choices. I had to put my two German shepherds up for the crew as I was away during the day they arrived. The work started as promised. It was going well until a surprise rain storm arrived over our area. It was a severe downpour, but the crew did a wonderful job of covering the roof with tarps that did not leak at all that could otherwise have caused quite a bit of water damage. Their quick actions to protect the exposed roof was admirable. The crew voted to stop work for that day because they were simply drenched, and working in wet clothes would have been miserable. Of course, I agreed to their request. They were back the next morning even though it started raining upon their arrival. However, they waited it out and started work after this storm passed. I was pleased they were able to finish the rest of the job on the second day. I am confident the entire project would have been completed the first day had it not rained. Actually, the new skylights were on the first day prior to the storm. They ended up replacing 2 plywood sections along with a strip of wood that had weather damage. This was included in the original estimate, meaning this was not a surprise. The yard was kept extremely clean with no materials that I could see remaining on the ground. As far as I could tell, no material even fell to the ground in the front yard. No shrubbery around the house was disturbed, and everything looked the same when the project was done as when they started--save the new roof, which looked outstanding. New vent pipe covers were installed along with flashing around the chimney. It has now been two months since the installation and no leaks nor abnormalities have been observed or experienced. Everyone involved in this process was professional, courteous, and with updates provided along the way through both email and cell phone. After the work was completed, the manager came back to the property and inspected everything to ensure the job was completed correctly and to specifications. This particular job was financed with paperwork provided by Baker Roofing through a 3rd party at 0% interest for 12 months. I have never been more pleased with work done by a contractor. Baker Roofing was absolutely professional, kept promises, and had no unwelcome surprises along the way. By the way, on the day of the downpour, Kevin called me about the situation. I was at work, and he was kind enough to let one of the German shepherds out so he did not have to stay cooped up all day in a cage. He did not have to do that as it could have put himself at risk, but he did anyway and took my word the dog would not bother him. The dog acted appropriately. Listen, I probably could have spent less on this job, but I felt comfortable with the professionalism of this company and I wanted the job done right without any hiccups. I highly recommend this company to perform this type of work for you, and would hire them again to do the job, which I might just have to in the future for one of the rental houses. Do not look any further than Baker Roofing. You will not regret the decision to use them.

They're on Angie's List. After they did the work, I still had a leak, I called them, complained, but, they came back and fixed it. I wasn't totally happy with them.

My wife and I were in the process of making an offer on a home when the inspection revealed significant damage to the roof. We attempted to get an estimate from Baker -- with full intent on replacing the roof when we owned the home. It took them 2 days to return my call and they wanted to charge me $350 for an estimate because we didn't yet own the home. We now own the home and have replaced the roof using another, more customer service oriented company. I find it hard to believe that in this economy giving a free estimate isn't worth the time.

There are two skylights desiring to be replaced and 4 boots over vent pipes. 1/2 of the roof has two-layer shingles, which must be removed, and 1/2 with single-layer shingles (both mentioned are 3-tab). The exact location of the leak is unknown, but Rob, the individual providing the estimate, took pictures, and it seems the leak is most likely coming from flash that has separated from the chimney as evident by the picture. Rob was professional, timely, and punctual. He arrived to my house prior to my arrival home, as agreed, to begin his portion of the estimate work by looking over the roof, and printing a very professional proposal sheet. It was provided to me in a folder that had additional information therein that described the type of shingles being considered. All handouts were professionally made. The proposal was printed on-site with a portable inkjet printer. It was easy to read and understand with all options clearly listed with pricing. We opted to go with the second option that included the Timberlake HD Lifetime shingles, Hickory in color. We originally desired a metal roof, but it was simply too costly for us, and with the 50 year warranty on the shingle roof through GAF. www.gaf.com, at approximately $12,000 less than metal, it only made since. My goal was not to have to worry about this roof again in my lifetime! At 44 years old, a 50 year warranty will serve me just fine. The estimate is at approximately $7,300, which includes the removal of all shingles mentioned above along with existing flashing, and the carting away of same. They will also ensure all nails are removed from the ground using a magnetic mechanism, with a promise to care for existing shrubbery around the house. This also includes the installation of all new flashing around the chimney and other necessary areas. $55 for each piece of plywood necessary to repair existing damaged sections. I opted to have them replace 2 skylights at the cost of an additional $878. It only makes sense to do this at the same time as these have obviously lost their seal due to moisture between the plastic windows. This also places the burden of any future leakage on Bakers since they are replacing them. There are other items included, but will not list here as it is expected to be included. This write-up is for the estimate performance only. I will provide a post once the actual work is done. I will close by stating that Rob is very professional and appears trustworthy with the experience necessary to provide desired information.

The experience was great! They were very responsive; they had a project manager and another technician that came out to do the work. The project manager came out first to assess the issues, and we provided him with pictures. We had another company provide us with estimates, and we weren’t as impressed with that company's solution. My husband seemed pleased in terms of planning the work, and when the technicians came out, they were diligent. The work looks good and we haven’t had any trouble with flooding so far. We have a year warranty for the work. They were a good company to work with!

It took a little while for them to get back to us. Once they said they were going to come, they came.

It was high quality work. We had no problems with them. I would recommend them.

The experience was excellent all around. They were excellent and their service was great. They were reliable and did what they said. They did excellent work. The price was fair for what they did for me.

Would've much rather used them. Baker was professional, reasonably priced, and efficient. The vendor we chose was unprofessional, late, frustrating to deal with, but promised to handle additional issues for us above and beyond the requested work. They did do that, but took MONTHS to get this simple job completed. Baker has quoted several jobs for us, and we will use them in the future.

I was out of town and my husband oversaw the job.

The job went perfectly well, and I had no issues. The work went exactly as I always expect it will go with Baker. The price was reasonable; it was good for the value I received. I have used them several times already. They are very pleasant, prompt and courteous. They seem to do quality work, and they stand behind it. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

The experience was great. We went from a roof leaking onto our custom knotty pine ceiling and frantic to relaxed and pleased. They came and gave us a written estimate very quickly and started and finished the repair in one day. They were as quiet as one could be doing such a job and polite and cleaned up to a perfect finish. I will NEVER use any other roofer now that I have found them. We got before and after pictures of the job and the foremen were very patient with us when we kept asking questions. I have used many different roofers in the past and Baker is the BEST.

Everything turned out very well. They responded very quickly and I had used them years ago. They have always come to evaluate. They did a good job and cleaned up. It was a good experience with them. They did what they said they were going to do and I didn't have any more problems. The cost was very good. They did an excellent job and I was satisfied. I would definitely use them again.

The folks that did the repair were good and they were tidy. They cleaned up after themselves. They arrived on time and left on time. They are coming back on Monday because we now have a different leak in the eaves. It was a good price because somebody else had done some work for us and they had to remove that work and basically get down to the plywood and replace it. They also had to replace some of the waterproofing and then finally the tiles. It wasn't a large surface area but I thought it was a fair price for the work that they did. They were very responsive.

Painting in not a strength. Excellent work otherwise.

It went okay, they came out and did the repairs. It didn't rain again for a long time, then it finally rained heavy and I found that the leak was back. They were very responsive to come back and fix it.

The owner was honest, and only did work that was necessary.

Small issue with tar on the newly painted siding, but it was resolved immediately with no hassles.

It went very well. The job took 3 plus days (more time than I think they had expected!). Orginally it was set for a Thursday & Friday, when they weren't done Friday evening they asked if they could come back on Saturday (which I thought was incredible) and then a smaller crew came on Monday to finish up and clean up. They project manager went up to the attic and vaccuumed up almost all the debris which had dropped down from removing the old shinigles, they did a thorough job of cleaning up the debris around the house when I was at work on Monday. It looks great!

Hard time contacting the company to schedule service. When the individual came out to do the repairs, he did all the work and forgot to repair the shingles. Had to reschedule to get him back to finish the work

Obtained estimate for repairs. Calls were returned promptly and the estimator arrived as scheduled. He did a very good job of explaining the problems he found and what needed to be done to correct them. The estimate arrived via email within a couple of days. The estimate was the highest of 3 received. No temporary repair or tarp or other preventative measure was offered which was surprising though consistent with other roofers; repair work was to be scheduled out at least a week, again consistent with other roofers. Still, between then high estimate and inability to eliminate a leak quickly when rain and snow were forecast caysed me to turn elsewhere for the repair job.

They were very professional and good. The guy who came was very thorough and knew exactly what they do. Their proposal is very professional and easy to follow. They are very expensive.

They were excellent. I would recommend them. I come from a family that was in the roofing business and I research everything so that I know about it and am able to see if a contractor knows what they are talking about. They were not the cheapest but it was very well worth it.

Everything went very very well. The roof was leaking and before we signed the contract with them we had a heavy rainfall and it was pouring in the house. We contacted them right away by email at 8:00 at night and he got right back to us saying he'd be there in the morning to put a tarp down to stop the rain and then replaced the roof a week later. That was a huge help.
