Baker was very professional, clean and prompt. Job was completed in a very professional manor.

They were kind enough to clean a couple of skylight that we couldn’t get to while they were doing the work even though it wasn’t part of the contract. Everything was perfect. They were on top of the list. We were very happy with the service.

I emailed them for an estimate on Sunday 11/10, first thing Monday morning they called to set up to have someone come out, on Wednesday William came out looked at eveything on Thursday morning the quote was emailed to me on Frrday they came and did the work.....NO MORE LEAKS and it looks great. When we are ready to have the roof replaced Baker Roofing will be who we call.

Professional from start to finish. The sales professional examined the roof and then described in detail just how this project would be carried out, from the project manager and roofing crew to the hand-nailed shingles, to the various kinds of shingles and their warranties. And the estimate was entirely reasonable. I solicited other estimates, but none was as professional and complete as Baker's presentation. I signed a contract, the salesman gave me the work date, and at 7:30 a.m. that day the crew arrived and went to work. They operated like a well-oiled machine and completed the job in just one day. They covered all of the shrubs beforehand, and afterward carefully policed the area, using magnetic wands to pick up wayward nails. And the bill was exactly what the estimate said it would be.

Could not ask for a more professional repair man.

After suffering storm damage that left a hole in our roof, we began researching and getting repair estimates. We had no idea there was such a learning curve to this process. Looking thru Angie's List, asking neighbors and co-workers for recommendations, we contacted four different roofers requesting information and estimates. Baker Roofing came highly recommended by my husband's colleagues, and was well-rated on Angie?s list. Rob Holt, Baker?s sales representative, was the only one who not only surveyed the roof, but went into the attic to check for rafter damage. He hand-measured the roof, explained shingle appearance and quality options, and described the entire process for ensuring quality installation and protecting our landscaping while the work was in progress. Working from his truck, he was able to provide a printed estimate complete with 3 different options all within an hour. Rob was friendly, patient in answering questions, informative and completely avoided any high-pressure sales tactics. He pointed out the company?s safety record, highly qualified workforce and attention to detail ? such as hand nailing vs. pneumatic nailing and why that makes a difference. Once we decided to go with Baker, Rob promptly delivered contract paperwork and called to offer an Angie's list coupon and a special rebate program for military veterans. We were originally scheduled for installation in November, but Baker was able to start work several weeks earlier at the end of October. Our project manager, Jamie Rector, called the Friday before beginning work, explaining that the crew would start Monday morning between 8 & 10 am and were expecting to complete the job in 2 days. As promised, the crew of 6 arrived promptly on Monday morning. They were courteous, professional and diligent workers, protecting our landscaping with tarps and wearing proper safety equipment. They worked until dark, finishing about 3/4 of the roof before stopping the first day. Jamie kept me up to date via phone calls and site visits. By early afternoon on the second day they completely finished the roofing and had the yard cleaned up & debris all loaded in the dumpster. Our roof looks great, and the Baker team took great care of our property. We felt like valued customers. Jamie came by today with the final invoice and personally walked the roof to insure all looked good. Baker Roofing rocks! I would strongly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new roof. Our neighbor loves our new roof ? and has already contacted Baker for an estimate!

After reading the above comments I received a call from Baker Roofing Company. They apologized for not returning my call and asked that they be allowed to provide a quote for services. They were extremely polite and very apologetic about not returning the call. They showed up when they said they would, provided pricing very quickly and followed up within a few days to see if there were anything further I needed. My experience with this company, other than first contact, has been above expectation. I would not hesitate to use them based on the overall commitment shown to address customer issues. The fact that they were so interested in resolving a customer complaint suggest to me that they are reputable and have good customer relations. We have not yet chosen a contractor, but will likely do so within the next month. I would consider Baker among the top of our current choices.

That went fantastic. We went through the insurance company because the roof was damaged by the storm. We've had them for several times. Their price was very, very reasonable.

It went better than I had imagined. Prompt, follow through, excellent skilled workers, intelligent and caring workers including management. They called and kept me posted on what they were doing, took pictures of attic and roof, and explained all of the jobs thoroughly. Wrote a review in the estimate and stood by their estimate. Gave a discount when things were found that were unexpected. A great company, who stands by their work..Excellent warranties!!

Very pleased from 1st contact, office personnel positive professional and polite. Sales person William Honeycutt was most knowledgeable, professional and responsive to any questions. He did what he said he would and did it timely. On site technician was again neat, polite, professional. Work ethic along with personal safety was impressive. I would definitely use Baker Roofing again at personal resident as well as other properties owned. Baker Roofing does what the say they will do ... and does it well from 1st contact to invoice billing.

The salesperson, Roberto Santos, was very knowledgeable and answered many of my questions upfront. He climbed on the roof, inspected the problem area, and got an estimate back to me within the next day or two. The estimate was more than what I had gotten from another company; however, I felt these guys had a better understanding of what was on the roof as they had been on the roof to inspect. I am waiting for a good rain storm to determine how well the roof has been fixed, and proceed with repairing the interior damaged wall.

From my perspective the project went very well. As a person who has been around construction for 30+ years it doesn't take too long to recognize professionals. They cleaned up every day. The job was done on-time. All Baker workers and supervisors wore all the required safety gear and hard hats. The only couple of minor glitches were taken care of quickly and professionally when another contractor probably would have argued the case. Matthew Smith was the Project Manager and Supervisor and ran a great operation. I would and have recommended them to others.

Baker used excellent materials, worked fast, updated the out-of-code flashing, new and improved skylights boxed to avoid water entry and with Low-E glass, and resealed and covered a flatter roof section with proper materials versus what I had. They built a new water diverter for the chimney, additional trim to keep water from falling on the deck, all quickly and at high quality. They swept the ground with a magnet to get most all of the nails/etc,and completed the work promptly. I initially had a difficult time getting an accurate quote when they transitioned quoting individuals but we eventually got it and the price straightened out before starting. Their prices were high but you get what you pay for and I am glad I had a completely new roof before all the rain of 2013. The only thing that went slowly was they claimed a $100 reward for anybody referring a customer, and one of my friends referred Baker after they had work done by them, but it took a long time for him to be rewarded and I'm still not sure if he has or not.

There was 1 positive and 2 negatives. For the positive, I did feel like they do quality job and a thorough job of roof replacement. On the negative side, the salesperson wasn't helpful when helping me to select what color would go well with my siding color. He did come back and drop off some samples but then they relocated him to Wilmington and I haven't been successful in getting anybody here to work with me so that they could replace my roof. My next step is to look at other companies.

Baker Roofing was exceptional. Prior to using them, I had hired 3 other contractors to fix the same problem with failed results. We have a bay window with a copper flashing. Baker Roofing identified that the flashing had been incorrectly installed by the builder, resulting in extreme water damage in our living room. The put new copper flashing on the bay window, and re-caulked everything. While there, they noticed a gutter problem and fixed it. They also fixed 2 holes in my eaves from squirrels. They also noticed a patch on my roof that was leaking into the attic. To fix it, they actually had to cut into the roofing joists. They did a remarkable job. The workers were pleasant, and the boss stopped by at least 5 times during the day to make sure the repairs were going to my expectations - and his. The cost of the repairs was significantly less than I thought it would be.

Responded very quickly to my initial request. Estimator came to my home within several days of contact. He was very professional and thorough. He got up on the roof and in the attic to investigate. I appreciated that he took digital photos and showed to me afterward to explain what repairs were needed. I received the estimate a week later. And after signing the contract, they were able to send someone out two weeks later. Overall, very pleased.

They were too expensive for us. At the time we were just trying to find out how much a new roof would cost for our home. Their quoted price was about $14,000. It was kind of a lukewarm experience. We got a cost out of it, but the rest of it was lukewarm.

Baker did a good job on a somewhat difficult 2-day project to solve several problems with an aging roof. We had fairly serious water damage and rotting that was not all apparent until they started. Overall the job was more involved than we (and Baker) expected, but the final cost was only slightly higher (thanks in part to an Angie's coupon, which they cheerfully honored). They were able to clearly communicate the additional work that had to be done, and they also did a good job with cleanup. Because they are a larger company than many, you have to deal with a salesman and then a manager and then the actual workers, but all their employees were very professional.

This company was very responsive to all methods of communication and offered me a fair price, after the military discount to replace my roof. They also removed the older gutter and installed new, clog-free gutters on the house. They are professional and have a long history of providing quality service. Very easy to deal with, professional in every way!

It was excellent. They did a good job. Very reliable and professional.

The estimate was high. But you know you will get quality work for the price. I haven't hired a company yet.
