Kyle was on time & follow on time everytime

The workers were on time; very polite. explained what they were doing. Asked if I wanted a quarter round molding at door in br. one was not there to begin w/corrected errors that builder made.

Mostly, it went well. The one thing that I wish was done better was for the roof above a bay window. We were considering a metal roof for that small window. I had gotten a quote from another vendor for a couple hundred dollars. So, the day before the project was starting, I asked the Project Manager to hold off on the bay window until I got a quote from Baker for a metal roof. But, it turns out Baker charged a couple thousand for the bay window roof, and the other vendor wouldn't do just the bay window for that price anymore. So, I had to have Baker come back out to re-roof the bay window in regular architectural shingles for a couple hundred. In the grand scheme of things, a couple hundred is not a big deal, but I thought that the PM should have advised me to just get the bay window shingled and to have them come back if we decided to go with metal (there was no discount for having them skip the window during the initial effort). Additionally, I didn't think the crew did a great job of cleaning up the nails, though the PM did come back and check around for nails a week later. Overall, however, I think they did a good job, and I would recommend Baker Roofing. In fact, I'm probably going to use them soon for a gutter and chimney cap project.

From the initial estimate to the completed job, Baker Roofing did a Fantastic job. Chad (their Project Mgr) was very attentive to detail and made sure we were happy through the entire process. Poncho (their site foreman) ensure all the work was done safely with perfect craftsmanship. They kept the work area clean and organized. Their final clean up was outstanding. I didn't find any left over nails or other debris.

It was perfect. They appeared on time as agreed. Completed a first -class job. The total came in well under the estimate - clean work. This is the best roofing company in Raleigh.

From beginning to end this has been a very positive experience with Baker Roofing. I met with 3 different roofing companies to get an estimate and ask questions. The difference between Ignacio’s presentation, knowledge and willingness to answer questions in a straightforward manner, convinced me that going with the highest quote was the right thing to do, and I was not disappointed. Once a contract was signed, the “handoff” to Kyle, the Project Manager was seamless. Kyle was very clear in letting me know what should be expected with this project, and encouraged me to bring any issues to his attention. He was very actively involved with the project, and checked in with me often to make sure I was satisfied with the work being done. Our experience with Kyle and his crew reflects very positively on Baker Roofing. You now have a loyal customer who would not hesitate to refer your company when roofing services are needed.

It went very well. They were prompt, worked efficiently, cleaned up each day. The roof looks great and we're very pleased.

They did a great job, and even replaced the flashing for us that was improperly installed by the builder. They fixed the roof decking under the shingles and made sure that the problem wouldn't happen again. I can't say enough good things about them, and would highly recommend them.

It went excellent. I would and have recommended them to our neighbors and friends. Many of them have then used Baker and have also been very satisfied. Baker really stands up for their customers. We had a problem with the shingle manufacturer but Baker took care of the problem with little effort on our end. Our roof was damaged in a storm. We first were approached by a "storm chaser" contractor. STAY away from those types of contractors. They charge more and won't give a estimate. I called Baker because they are the roofing contractor at the plant I work at. Without a mention of the insurance appraisal value Baker's estimate was much less. I would use them again and any other work they are capable of performing!!

The roof looks great, chimney flashings are wonderful. One small problem that the crew chief corrected. I, the owner, had to request the rotten wood along the border (roof's edge) be replaced or covered . I thought that they would have recognized it and brought it to my attention.

The estimate was detailed and the estimator handled all my questions over multiple emails. The project manager came by my house to review the site and make sure I knew what to expect. Work crew was very neat and efficient. Clean-up was done with magnet and they also checked neighbor's yard. Project manager was accessible throughout and kept me up to date on schedule changes.

There were two employees doing the work and it took them about an hour. They were good.

Baker Roofing did something so rare in today's business environment my wife and I are still in awe. Baker Roofing did exactly what they said they would do, in the timeframe they said they would do it. Not only that, but when there was an issue, they responded within an hours time...just as they told us they would. In late October, early November 2016, Dave Frawley came out to the house and provided 2 estimates for the issues we discovered with our roof. One estimate to repair severe drainage damage, and one to replace the entire roof. Once the insurance company came out and approved the replacement, my wife and I obtained several quotes from companies in the area. We spoke to people about the companies and Baker Roofing always came up as the best. Their quote was better than some and relatively the same as others. But the recommendations from the people we spoke to, our research and knowing Dave helped us choose Baker Roofing. Once we told Dave we wanted Baker to fix the roof, he gave us an estimated date they could do the work. He said the supervisor (Chad) would follow up and give us a firmer date. Well, when Chad called he firmed up the date in January. This freaked us out a little because January was a long way away for us and we weren't how long the temporary fix I made to the drainage issue would last. Chad Petit called and sent email assuring us of the date and that he would be following up on the timeline and work that was going to be done. At this point we were apprehensive and thought this would be the same type of service we always get and--in the end--regret. November and December ended. January came and just as we started to wonder if Baker would follow up, Chad called and emailed again about the dates. The work would be delayed a week because of the bad weather we had. One week was okay with us...the fix I had was still working. Chad let us know his crew finished the job they were working on early. They would only be 4 days past the original planned date. Communication was done by email and phone with Chad. He kept us informed as the start date crew closer. We were told they needed room in the driveway for a container to dumb the old shingles. That was okay, we thought it would not be a problem. Laughing as I recall when I came home the container blocked my wife's side of the driveway and the shingles were on the other side. Needless to say, she was not happy. So, even before Baker started, my wife called Chad. He responded immediately and thankfully my wife and Chad came to an agreement. The next day the crew was here when they said they would be to start work. They laid tarp and moved things they needed to on the porch. At the end of the day, not a single old shingle was in the yard, nor was the lawn trampled on. For the next 4 days they worked on the roof. One evening it rained and I knew the crew would need to walk on the soggy, mushy yard. To my amazement they laid down plywood around the house. It amazed my how considerate this work crew was. Not a single foot print where there should have been a muddy, sloshed up, battle ground between boots and mud and grass. It was awesome. When they finished we didn't know Baker was there except for the wonderful roof we had. Once the roof, vents and fan was in, Chad pointed out flashing issues around the chimneys, and gables. He gave us an estimate and we readily agreed Baker would take care of it. We had issues before and had "handymen" out to "fix" the problems. This time Baker was doing the work and they guaranteed their work for 10 years. These repairs turned out to be the most anxiety relieving stress I could ever imagine. Everything wrong we had looked at, did temporary fixes on that lead to more worry for 16 years was now taken care of properly. The work was done the way it should have been when we build and bought the house. Only one issue popped up after the roof and flashing was complete. The crew forgot to fix the soffit. My wife called Chad and it was taken care of the next day. My wife cannot give Baker, Dave and Chad enough praise for their work before the job, during the job, and after the job. In today's business environment, who says what they say they are going to do and does it, when they say they are going to do it and does it, and then follows up they way they promised they would? The work was very good. The people was very good. The price seemed a little high. They got back to me in a timely manner, they emailed me to set up dates. Initially they got back to me quickly. The one thing that was less than good for me is the day they were scheduled to come. It was raining, and kind of a gray overcast. The called me and said sorry it's raining and that they could not come and they rescheduled for Monday. That was clear and they showed up with no problem. I could sort of see that they could not work on our roof in rain. It would of been more convenient for me if they called before the time when they were supposed to arrive. They called when it was pretty close to the time they said they were going to arrive. I had to rearrange my day to accommodate them.

I don't usually rate companies after using them but I was compelled to do so wi Baker Roofing. The project manager David Frawley was complete and honest with the job and so responsive. After the job there were a few ruts in the front yard from rolling shingles to the right location but Baker took care of those super quick. Everyone involved was a pro. I cannot recommend them more for home or industrial needs given the professionalism displayed by these guys. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Baker roofing was very professional. They did a great job, finished on time and even picked up every last nail and piece of trash that was dropped.
