Although I had to call them back in to do some work that was missed on first visit they went over and above to then do all work requested plus some extra that wasn't related to the storm damage. If I had any criticism it would be that the field crew arrived both times with no advance notice.

They were very professional. They did a good extra job on clean up after they finished and we have a couple of windows that has bunch of leaves and they responded very well to that so I don't have any complaints on that one. The price I think is reasonable.

I submitted a request online for a quote and received a call the next day to have a salesperson come and take a look at getting my roof and windows replaced. The salesman, John, from the initial consult was really nice. He definitely spent a reasonable amount of time answering my questions and acknowledging my concerns, explained the differences between types of shingles and their warranties well. After everything was measured, he spent some time in his truck to construct the quote and it was actually more reasonable than I was expecting. The windows in my home were a little trickier so that took a few days to get a quote on but that was also pretty reasonable. I decided to just go with the roof for now and chose CertainTeed Architectural shingles. I (arguably foolishly) decided not to get any other quotes. I was impressed with the service I had received so far and felt comfortable with Baker based on the reviews on Angie's List and other sites. A couple days later, I reached out to John and asked to schedule a date and time. Luckily, I was replacing my roof pre-emptively and was not in a hurry because the dates chosen were about 5 weeks out but that wasn't a problem. About a week before the install, I received word that my street would be resurfaced so Baker wouldn't have access to my driveway. I let John know and they were able to reschedule for two days after the weekend. The flexibility there was appreciated and impressive. I didn't have a whole lot of interaction with the crew but the Project Manager, Patrick, called the first day to let me know how things were going. They came across a cracked vent pipe that they replaced at no additional cost. The second day, I came home around noon so I could be around when things were getting finished and cleaned up and met with Patrick. He spent a good amount of time explaining things and answering questions I had. Unfortunately there was some damage to the siding and panelling on my dormers but that's because they weren't cut to code so the installers had difficulty getting the new step flashing in place. I don't fault Baker for that though. I asked Patrick to get me a quote on getting those cleaned up and he sent a pretty reasonable quote within a few days. Overall, I'm thrilled with the outcome. The roof looks great and the guys cleaned up well after the fact. I think I only found one nail in the mulch in front of the house; none in the grass, driveway, or street.

Excellent. Professional all the way from the initial sales call through the installation and follow-up inquiries. Provided both a coupon price reduction and senior discount through Angie's List. Couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience.

Our contractor was very informative and helpful. He was in contact regularly, answered calls and questions and was good to work with. They got the job done within a few days, weather was an issue to complete quickly, and they cleaned up daily and efficiently. The only thing that wasn't great was the crew they hired did not speak English all that well and were not easy to talk to. They showed up twice on the wrong day and had the wrong information. They were very nice, but we could see that might be an issue. They are apparently no longer working with the company. We got a quote for more work with the company, since they did such a great job, and are waiting to start a new project hopefully. They were also really great about allowing us to pay with our Insurance payment which did not come in a s quickly as we hoped. I'm not sure that is the norm, but we made payments and spoke to them and they were very nice to us.

We were hit with heavy storm damage resulting in a roof replacement paid for by our insurance. Our insurance company allows us to choose our own contractors. After speaking to many roofers we thought Baker, while not the cheapest, was the best for the job. This was the first time ever that we hired a contractor for a project and they were outstanding! Communication was excellent. They showed up on time. The work was done in the time they said it would be and to a very high standard. Our house looks incredible! I will hire them again for sure. While we don't need a roof for 30+ more years I have some trim and rotten wood on our house that I plan to have them replace.

The estimate process was great. The company was very helpful and accommodating. However, when the day came to do the repairs, a single person came to the house that was not able to communicate, due to employee not speaking or understanding English well. I was at work and my wife was home during the repairs. The employee can into the house so that my wife could show him the leaks in the ceiling. When my wife tried to explain to him we wanted him to perform a moisture test (which was requested to be done during the repairs at an earlier date), he did not understand and when my wife just asked him to finish completing the work outside, he lingered downstairs in the house. This made my wife extremely uncomfortable. I do not think the employee was intentionally being non responsive; however, this is not the experience I expected based on the great level of service from the estimate and communicating with the company over the phone.

Chose to go with another provider, but for no negative reasons associated with Baker.

Baker was very responsive to my request for an estimate, and was priced very close to the other estimate I obtained. Baker's crew was on time every day, they worked hard and they were VERY respectful of our newly planted flowers. The crew was outstanding.

Baker Roofing did an excellent job. I had read the reviews and saw the work they had done the in neighborhood. The quality of the work Excellent. The initial contact was with the sales person, Robert Holt. He was very professional and took the the time to go over all The details of the job,and explained the materials that were going to be used on the roof. He answered all my questions, returned phone Calls in a timely manner. I knew up front what I was getting. Wayne Stanfield was the project manager, he was excellent. The crew lead by Marcelino Alvarea were the best. They were very professional, on time, took care in cleaning up through out the job. I have a very large Rose Garden. They were so good in protecting My roses!! Just an excellent crew. They left without knowing I had a roof done. They made sure everything was picked up. I would recommend them anytime. I felt like I got a good roof and quality workmanship.

They took off the old roof, put on protective covering and put on a new roof, including ridge vent. The final work product was absolutely an A. We had some trouble with scheduling. They were very responsive on the bid and very responsive throughout. It was storming the day that they were scheduled to come. The project manager arrived and his crew did not. So they had to reschedule. That is sort of an unusual circumstance. But when it's thunder and lightning and they're going to be on a roof, you sort of understand what's going on. We're very pleased with the quality. I would use them and I would recommend them.

They were very pleasant and professional. Got an estimate, but didn't end up using them as the HOA's construction warranty ended up covering the repair and the company is going to do the repair themselves.

I am going to be considered the master of hyperbole here because of my choice of words for my comments, but so be it. John who gave me the estimate and planned out the job was fantastic! Not only did he explain everything in detail, but he helped me work with my challenging HOA for the roofing approval. He went the extra mile to also protect my home, which had a hole in the roof from tree limb damage, until the job could start. He kept in touch and kept me in the loop on the timing of the job and next steps. Patrick and his 3 man crew were fabulous! Patrick explained everything, helped me understand the process and the realities of my home and the work required. He supervised as needed and made great recommendations for minor adjustments to the work along the way. His crew was absolutely perfect! They were courteous, careful and considerate. They worked hard to do everything just right and make the finished product look absolutely awesome! Best clean up job and protection of my plants and other structures that anyone could ever hope for. EVERYTHING THAT WAS PROMISED WAS DONE AND THEN SOME! All the work was finished according to schedule and my needs. They took excellent care of my home and me. From this experience, I really have to tell anyone reading these reviews, that if they want a roofing company that is competitively priced, clear and forthright in explaining the job and sticking to their word throughout the whole process (from estimate to work completion), THIS IS THE ONLY COMPANY IN THE TRIANGLE AREA TO EVEN CONSIDER! Lastly, the company office staff took care of all the warranty details and the financing and followed up with all the required documentation. BAKER ROOFING, YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!

We had a very small hard to find leak in the sky light. The president of Baker roofing come out to find the leak and make the repair. I have never had service like this for any discipline. I would always use Baker roofing.

Baker Roofing was backed up because of the snow, but made it here within a few days. The gentleman examined our entire roof and reported to me that the snow was actually coming in through the ridge vents -- can't really do anything about it. First time we have had this problem because in eight years, we never had this much snow. He did point out that we have two shingles loose on the roof that covers our back porch (showed me a picture). A week later he sent an estimate to fix these two shingles: $250. This seems like a lot to tack down two shingles, but appreciate his honesty re: the ridge vents. Since he didn't charge for examining our roof and there is probably a minimum amount they need to charge to make the job worthwhile, I will have him back out at some point to repair the two shingles.

Great company to work with! The estimator (John Bayer) came out immediately and did a very thorough inspection (he was the only one of 4 estimators who actually got up on the roof). The estimate included some options, was priced competitively and Baker had a solid reputation, so we went with them. We also appreciated that Baker crews hand nail all shingles rather than using nail guns that are less effective and may actually compromise the roofing. The project supervisor (Wayne Stanfield) called a couple of weeks before the start date to confirm and introduce himself. Materials and crew showed up on time and the work was completed in just 3 days. Wayne, or his supervisor, was at the job site several times each day and provided regular updates on the progress. An upstairs window overlooks our porch roof and my husband happened to be home and watched the crew work. He was very impressed with their attention to detail. They used tarps to protect the house and garden while removing the old roofing and left the job site very clean. Just a few weeks before the roofing job, we'd had our siding replaced and now our house is brand new on the outside. The roof looks great and the inches of rain that fell last week confirm it is sound.

From the start everyone involved was extremely punctual, courteous, hard working and extremely clean. All debris was removed and everything was put back in the original location.

The roof was replaced in a satisfactory fashion. Price is reasonable but not the cheapest. The contact person was responsive for the most part but I occasionally would have to call for an update about the timing of the project.

Both the estimator and repair technician inspected the attic and determined the likely source of the leak. Also, noted a hole in the plywood under the shingles. The ridge vent or brick on the front gable were the likely source of the leak. Replaced ridge cap shingle, installed metal over hole, removed section of ridge vent, re-insalled ridge cap and shingles, and sealed brick on front gable.

Workers arrived as scheduled and completed the work according to estimate. The company rep who made the estimate was very efficient. He listened to the concerns my husband and I had about our aging roof. We live in a neighborhood that is constantly changing (old houses being torn down for bigger and larger homes) and worked with us to make suitable repairs. We are very satisfied with the results.

It's going fine. They've been around for many, many years and they're very professional.

Ignacio the salesman was very helpful, courteous, and went out of his way to help us with the insurance claim. The crew was very efficient and did a great job.

Service was exemplary from initial consultation and to set up of barriers to protect the landscaping; to removal of old roof and installation of new roof; to final clean up.
