They actually had an opening a week earlier than the planned date so they called and asked if we would like it done early. They came out, did a beautiful job and cleaned up so well you would never know they were here. Fabulous!

Took a little while to schedule but it didn't cause any problems. They arrived on the date and time specified and completed the work in one day.

After we received the quote by email, my wife replied approving the work to be done. They scheduled the repair for 9:00 in the morning. They call me around 8:00 to say they would be an hour late (now that's professional!). My wife had to leave around that time so I called them back and they said that would be no problem, they didn't need her to be at home. When she got home they had already started. The did the repairs, cleaned up after themselves and cleaned out the gutters while they were up there.

We were very happy with everything from start to finish! Communication was great, they were always on time, cleaned up at the end of every day.

Baker roofing was fast and did quality work. I got 3 quotes and they had the best price but on top of that they personally offered a 10 year transferable warranty on their work. None of the other companies I got quotes from offered that warranty on top of the manufacturers warranty. Even though they were cheaper they still are devoted to the safety of the workers. I think this is important for a number of reasons. All in all they did good work and cleaned up after themselves. I am happy with the service and I would recommend this company to my friends.

The workers were very polite, and kept us informed. They cleaned up ever evening, as much as possible. The work was wonderful, and looked very nice.

Crew arrived on schedule, completed the agreed work scope, and did good job cleaning up leftover debris. This was a good work experience overall.

Baker removed and replaced roof and gutters. Pros: high quality showed up on time supervisor available and responsive good customer service picked up trash, debris and cleaned up well fixed interior damage from rain leak during installation quickly and without hassle Cons: Job took about twice as long as originally estimated. However, would rather have good work than quick and shoddy work. Overall very pleased with work from Baker Roofing. High quality work and good customer service. Would recommend them highly.

I contacted Baker Roofing Co, when I found them on Angie's List because they had so many positive ratings. I explained to them that I was in need of some minor roof repairs consisting of replacing less than a dozen shingles, secure a few pieces of loose soffit, and secure three loose clay tiles. The last time I had some similar repairs a repair man and a helper came out and spent less than two hours performing the repairs and charged less than $200. Baker Roofing Co, send out an estimator to review the repairs and prepare an estimate. When I received the estimate of $2965.00, I was shocked and insulated. I used to work as a project manager in construction and could not believe this outrageous price for what should only take a few man hours to repair. Needless to say I rejected their proposal and will have someone else provide a more reasonable price.

Making the decision about which company to choose was difficult but we feel choosing Baker Roofing was a fantastic decision. (Of course, we need to feel this way for a long time to come? it's a roof after all!) We fretted about spending a bit more than our other quotes but based on the feeling we were choosing a company that seemed to have the appropriate credentials, would be around and stand by its work , the excellent reviews, and the excellent comprehensive communications with our sales person, Chris, we made the decision to choose Baker. This turned out to be the right choice. Chris was very knowledgable and professional and also helped faciliate expedited service for us when we awaiting our installation date and had an emergency with our roof. The level and clarity of communication and responsivenss distinguished Baker from the competition and this proved even more true after we our emergency with our roof prior to the schedule date. Chris engaged the team including Ariel who was also stellar and they responded to our urgency after our roof began to leak from a bad storm. They helped us with an interim solution. The roof replacement was also moved up after we had a limb come through the roof. This work was led by project manager, Patrick ,who also was great to work with and helped inspect the job with another colleague of his to ensure that roof and skylight were done flawlessly! I can not imagine any company being more accessible and responsive to us. We really appreciate this so much. They also seemed very honest about the condition and requirements for the roof. We were impressed with each person we dealt with from Chris to Ariel to Patrick to Greg and all the team whose names I do not know that touched our job. We are extremely satisfied. Thank you!

Received estimate w/i days of request. Was kept informed of project management w contact info. They called to ask if they could start a day early because of the excessive heat, that was fine. Then they pushed to finish in two days because of rain forecast.

I was very well pleased with all facets of the work performed.

Got several estimates, and all came in around $12K-$13K for asphalt shingles. I decided a metal roof was more than I wanted to spend because I got those estimates, too. The project came in more than that because I added four skylights and added a dormer to increase the attic's living space. It took 2.5 days because I have a large, hip roof with several unusual angles. The crew worked constantly to keep my yard clear of debris and to protect the shrubs around the house. The project manager met with me several days earlier and helped select the best locations for the skylights. He has plenty of skylight experience and we took his advice. We're now delighted with the skylights, which have turned a dark space into a livable area. My reason for selecting Baker Roofing was because of their reputation for quality and longevity -- which means they will still be around if something goes wrong. I also used their 0% financing. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic! First day 12 windows were replaced and on the second day side door and french doors to the deck were replaced. We had extensive water damage on the deck doors and surrounding area which lengthened the job an extra day. The folks from Baker Roofing were great! They kept me informed on the entire process and where we had to have siding replaced were able to repaint and match the existing color. I never knew I could be exited about windows and doors--I guess that means I'm getting old!

Job was performed quickly and accurately by the siding manager. He was very polite and professional. Quality of work was excellent. Gave them a B for price because that was a little high. However, the sales rep did what he could to keep the price down, and the sales rep and installer/manager did have to drive from Raleigh to Durham to arrange and perform the work. Still, a local installer or smaller company would probably have charged less. This was a small, 20 minute job.

The workers came and did the job efficiently and in a timely manner. The clean up was very good.

Baker stared after I went to work and finished before I got home. Aside from the new roof, I wold never have known they were there. Quick, high quality, and great clean up .

Everything went great! Rob came out to survey what was needed and the size of the job and later emailed an estimate. He was very professional and responsive to all questions I had that day and later. After deciding to go with Baker who has been around 100 yrs. and has an excellent reputation, Rob emailed me a very detailed contract covering every item and a sheet explaining what I needed to do to prepare before they came. A couple days prior to the date they were to begin Marvin, the Project Manager who oversaw everything, called to confirm they were coming and reviewed some of the preparations I needed to do on my end and explained what I could expect to happen and the expected deadline for completion. The work took 4 days instead of the 2-3 days previously estimated because of the extreme heat that week. He also was very professional and patient with me answering all of my questions and returning all my calls very quickly. It was a pleasure working with Rob and Marvin. I was somewhat anxious since this was my first experience replacing a roof but everything went great. The crew did a great job, cleaned up everything in the yard every day before they left, put tarps over my patio and shrubs for protection. I am very pleased and would recommend them to everyone.

They came when expected. Cleaned up as they went. Informed me whenever they found problems. Roof and gutters look nice. I am having them replace siding.

The crew showed up on time and were very quick, thorough and professional. They cleaned up well and were careful around our plants. Marvin Head, the foreman, was very friendly and attentive.

Baker called me immediately to arrange an in home inspection. Ron Hicks came out to my house, where I showed him the location in the attic where the leak was and then he inspected the roof. Once he determined the shingles were missing he scheduled a team to come out and fix the leak/shingles. The guys came out and fixed the roof while I was working and the leak was eliminated. Ron was the only employee I met face to face but between emails and phone calls I felt everyone I encountered at Baker was very courteous and very professional. I could not have asked for better service and quicker turnaround. i would definitely use Baker again for any roofing problem and have recommended them since.
