Great. The teams were professional, and finished everything in a timely manner.

Was easy to schedule. Brandon C. called and alerted before he arrived. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Inspected and Diagnosed where water was leaking and rebuilt the whole thing. Leak was below the flapper. Also fixed the leaky water valve. Tried repairing repairing the garbage disposal but it was beyond repair. I got the new insinkerator disposal and he installed it with out issues efficiently. Thank you Brandon.

Tech showed up for appointment and in less than 10 minutes came down stairs from attic (technician advised owner $1992.10 of parts & Labor were needed to be authorized due to age & condition ) Immediately 2nd ARS representative showed up and up to attic and less than 10 minutes again camed down ( 2nd ATS Rep advised the Owner that going with 2 other options replace units (furn & AC $6389 or furnace only $3900 . * The 2nd ARS rep advised "they could have units there within the hour and completed today" Owner 91 Years Old "declined and advised she would seek alternate opinion. Outside 3rd party NC Licensed contractor was hired & found units to be in complete working order and good to above average condition . This contractor charged $120 for his services .

Owner called to explain technician ill, did not communicate well and apologized. He also credited the account and rectified the situation. I appreciate the owner's willingness to do so and wish him well.

It went well. A couple of minor points: - the return vent is slightly not parallel to nearest wall. It is a slight angle off. - I have a brick house. They needed to install an extra vent for the high efficiency furnace. They pounded a hole in the outside wall for the vent. The first one must have hit a beam, they ended up doing another one. So, some extra grey goop on the wall to seal it back up.

I received a call this morning after waiting all weekend, that they are not coming. I am losing 900 gallons a day and expressed this to them on Friday.

They are always pretty effecient and good customer service.

I will NEVER work with this company again. My 3 year old HVAC unit installed by ARS (unfortunately) stopped cooling, so I called them out to service. After the Tech inspected the system he showed me an itemized list of issues including a charge of nearly $700 for refrigerant and another one for $1800 for a WARRANTIED repair (parts covered by Rheem and 3-4 hour job). The Tech got very aggravated when I asked for details on each item. My concern was could they charge $700 for 4lbs of r-410a refrigerant? Seemed like price gouging to me. He told me to “call his supervisor in the morning and negotiate a better deal.” Really? So I called the supervisor and he was less than helpful. When I asked him to explain how a 3-4 hour job could cost near $2k, he said it’s a flat rate price set by “management” and couldn’t give me a breakdown of the cost. Keep in mind all the parts are under warranty, which means $0 charge to ARS. He attempted to explain that the job required “special tools” and “solder work”... huh? My gut told me to move on and I’m glad I did. I ended up working with a smaller company and saved a ton. Also do yourself a favor and read some of the “A” reviews on this site. Many are worded the same. hmmm...were they added by a “friend” of the company?? Very suspect to say the least.

He, was late due to unexpected management meeting, but when he arrived he quickly fixed the gas line. He also checked and tightened the other connections in the area..

Terrible customer service. Day 1. I take afternoon off from work to meet technician at scheduled time between 2-5. He never shows up. No call from ARS. I call. Tech said he got tied up. Can be there in the morning. Day 2. I take the morning off to meet the tech at the scheduled time between 8-9. He shows up at 9. Evaluates faucet and goes to truck. Comes back and says he checked the water pressure and it is excessive and we need a new regulator. He also discusses waterless hot water heaters. 2 hours later the faucet is not fixed but he ordered the parts and will be back tomorrow. He collected the $69 service fee. Later that day, the tech calls and says he will be out the next day around 1:00. Day 3. I take off from work again to meet the tech. 3:00 and no tech. I call ARS and the person puts me on hold. Finally comes back and says that someone will call me in 5 min. 4:00 and no call. I call them, express my dissatisfaction and cancel the service. They offer me 10% off. I decline. 30 min later the tech calls and explains that he was diverted from my appointment by the ARS dispatcher to another appointment, but offered to come out the next day. I declined. Although everyone I talked with were courteous, it was apparent that management did not value me as a customer. I lost a day and a half of work, too. Tonight I called JD Servicenow. They will be out tomorrow and their service fee is only $39. I will never do business with ARS Rooter again and have lost confidence in Angies List, too. By the way, this is only the 2d review I have ever written.

They checked and cleaned the filters, and checked the voltage and freon, and everything was working fine. They also checked the temperature systems. Full systems checked and maintenance. The best price for a 3 years maintenance contract.

Fixed quickly the problem plus a unknown one. Good price with coupon.

While no one enjoys large expenditures, Rapid Repair Experts made the installation of 2 new Heating and Air systems a seamless and easy experience. It did not happen. Refused to do work because a different plumber did the rough in. The rough in was permitted and signed off.

The first job went well enough. I used the Angies List coupon and the work of replacing a leaky 90 degree joint was completed without issue. During this first call we noticed a second leak near the mixing valve above our hot water heater. The plumber did try to tighten a connection for no extra charge but it didn't work and a new agreement was entered to fix that second problem. The quote was $500 to install a $100 part- this seemed a bit high but not enough for me go through the hassle of getting competing bids or spec the part and buy the tools to do it myself. The work for the second call did not go as well as the first. The plumber was very nice but seemed inexperienced. Issue 1) the mixing valve box did not contain all the parts needed to install the part and this lead to a hour long wait while the part was delivered by a second plumber. Issue 2) the mixing valve is directly above my water heater (an 18 month old gas fueled Apollo style tank that cost $3300 installed). The plumber did not ensure that the pipes were drained before cutting so a gallon (?) of water started pouring right onto (and into) the hot water heater. If I had not been there with towels and a bucket (he had no plan or equipment to stop the water) then the hot water heater would have been significantly damaged. Issue 3) One of the new joints had a small leak (also leaking into the hot water heater) and so they had to immediately come out for a warranty repair the very next day. The $500 bill made more sense to me then as that 45 minute job (plus driving time) likely did end up costing them about that much to complete. Anyway, this was the first time working with this company. The plumbers and the call center people were all very nice but the overall experience and quality of work will lead me to try another company next time.

Excellent service provided by Sarah! (yes, Sarah!) She was very knowledgeable, practical, and patiently answered all my many, many questions. I learned a lot from this service and highly recommend it.

We used ARS several years ago for HVAC replacement and at another time for tankless water heater installation and they seemed to do a fine job. A few years after the HVAC installation we had our air ducts cleaned and found out they hadn't done the job properly which allowed moisture into the duct work and that led to a major mold problem; it all had to be replaced. When we moved from that house, the inspector for our buyer found problems with the installation of the tankless heater that led to several hundreds in repair dollars. Also, after the tankless installation, we had some issues with the old upstairs HVAC until (not the downstairs one they replaced) and I was told we needed to replace it. A salesman came out and really put on a show about how much I would be helping out their poor employees who were just so desperate for work and how hard times were and yada yada; he was such a ******! I had someone else come out to look at the problem and found out it was a simple fix that only cost a couple hundred dollars. These guys are crooks!

Good, but the technician was very confusing about the way the water heater performed.

We had a new water heater installed. They came 1 hour early, were very clean, professional and did a great job. We used a coupon found on Angie’s list and got a good deal. Great experience!

Technician arrived promptly. Presented me with an itemized quote to replace air handler in 3 year old home. System still under warranty, but he refused to perform warranty work. Showed me a well worn laminated card that had prices for various services. Claimed there was a pinhole leak which required immediate replacement. Two other companies came out and neither would confirm the diagnosis.

Sarah and Michael provided the service that fixed our leak. The hardware was replaced with new valves and knobs, which solved the problem. This is my second experience with the company and I will use them again in the future.
