After diagnosing a problem with the line inside of wall, replaced wiring with new to alleviate future issues. Showed up early after verifying it was OK with us.

Went great. Showed up on time and inspected both units. I bought one $59 unit inspection via AL. They honored that same priice for my second unit. The technician informed me that everything was working fine. However, due to the age of one of my units parts will not be available if/when it has an issue. So, I'm at least prepared for when this occurs. He even washed down one of my units (it was dirtry).

OK but did not like the sales approach, much like a car salesman. They may be a great company but I decided not to use them to install a new system.

My condensate pump stopped working, so I called Air Experts based on their great reviews on Angie's List. The person answering the call was efficient and courteous. The technician showed up on time (I was given a two-hour arrival window, but the office called when he was on his way), listened to my story, looked at condensate pump (without even touching it), and said I needed a new one. He quoted a price of $273 to replace the pump with the exact same model. Since the pump costs < $50 and the technician said it would only take 10 minutes for him to replace it, I declined. I paid the $39 fee for the service call.

Everything went very smoothly: they contacted me quickly after I purchased the Angie's List service special, and they arrived on time. (And based on this good experience, I had them back out to install a new thermostat unit a few weeks later.)

Visit went smoothly. Called after-hours night before. Received a call for scheduling the same night and service tech came the next morning. Service tech called ~30min prior to arriving and was on time. Kyle explained what he was going to check. Came back and informed me of a fuse/breaker issue and was able to assess our fuse box and replace a fuse at the AC electrical box. Because he checked the entire system, he also noted an imbalance between our blower speed and cooling ability. He explained how this can decrease de-humidifying and air cooling efficiency and how he could improve it and cost for doing so. He was finished in less than an hour with the entire visit.

Went well. The technician Travis was very professional and courteous.

They stand by their work and if it's not right they fix it! They are extremely prompt and very responsive.

Did not consider them as my request was seemingly ignored.

I did have some problems through the process with communication and then the new system failed a little over 24 hours after installation but in the end, they were responsive and made sure that mechanical problems with the new system were taken care of satisfactorily. I will say Mike (the repair technician) was wonderful. He spent many hours through the night and weekend trying to resolve the problem, and eventually was able to get the system up and running. .

Everything went very well. He was very professional during the visit. He wore booties to protect the hard wood floors which we appreciated, he removed and cleaned each vent cover individually and gave us some advice about air filters. All in all a very good experience.

Initial response time was excellent. Service was purchased through Angie's List in the evening and they called the next morning to set up an appointment for later that afternoon. They called back an hour later and wanted to know if the technician could show up earlier than originally planned. All of this was great. Bobby, the tech, showed up on time, and called me as requested with details. He listed the parts that were no longer any good and said that there was a leak somewhere in the system. His advice was to scrap the system due to its age. I have a 5 year old Trane XR13 cooling, unit that was given to me sitting in the yard, and asked if it could be hooked up to the existing system. Bobby told me that the current gas pack system would not work with the Trane because they are different types of systems and that I would need to get a furnace to pair up with the Trane to make it work. I decided to look around and realized that I didn't know enough about the different HVAC systems to choose the right furnace so I got in touch with Bobby again and asked if he could help. I told him that all we need to work is the AC since we have never used the gas furnace side of the gas pack. He said that he would find out what he could and bet back with me. This was over the Labor day weekend and he said that if I didn't hear from him by noon on Teusday to give him a call. I waited until after 2 pm and gave him a call. He said he had asked around and was waiting on an answer and that he would call me after 4 to let me know something. I never received the call. It is now Wednesday evening and I still haven't heard from him. The good thing is that the temperatures haven't been extremely hot, but the inside temps and humidity are getting on everyone?s nerves. I just want to know what it would take to get the Trane system hooked up (furnace not necessary) and cooling our house.

They were punctual, very professional explained everything they were going to do and some additional info on the system we had and what we wanted to make sure of for maintaining the system. I would surely use them again.

This is my first experience working with Air Experts and based on the great customer reviews on Angie's List, the Air Expert technician more than lived up to those excellent reviews. Bobby Hewitt, the Air Expert tech that came to service our GeoThermal system was prompt, personable and very knowledgeable about all things geothermal and about the specific hardware system that I had. He taught me how the system worked, pointed out some of the areas that needed minor maintenance and was generally very helpful. Basically, the value that Bobby brought was more than worth the price for the service call. I thoroughly recommend Air Experts and will do so to anyone who asks.

Cleaned both systems, sold us new capacitors on both systems. Failed to fill coolant on one system that failed less than one month later. Another company was called and found the system low on coolant, filled the system and it has worked well the rest of the summer.

Proficient and professional.

Excellent. They gave me a price over the phone $1100. (ARS wanted $1750) Scheduled the work for the next day. Showed up promptly. Did the work in 2.5 hours. Have not had any problems. Installation tech was very courteous and knowledgeable.

It went well. He changed the capacitor, and the part was very expensive compared to what I would have paid online.

Bill was excellent. Only praise for him, no complaints.

From the beginning, Air Experts was very professional and they even let me borrow a couple of window air conditioning units to help cool the house while I waited a couple of days for them to install my house unit. I was very impressed with the level of courtesy and customer service. It took about all day for them to install my unit and I got a wifi thermostat too. Part of the service was to seal my ducts and I assumed it was all taken care of while they were around my crawl space. Just a couple of small things. When the city of Raleigh inspectors showed up, they failed the work because a gas line was installed across the access panel to the electricity for the AC unit. Seemed like a small silly mistake, but I called Air Experts and they were apologetic and scheduled a guy to come out and fix it, and then I got it reinspected and everything was great. I qualified for a couple of rebates from Duke/Progress energy too, so I filled out the forms they gave me and mailed them off, super easy. I got a call from them to do a random inspection of the work too, so they came by and let me know the duct sealing wasn't really up to par. But not even a day or so later Air Experts came by and made sure to fix that up too. They went around all my air vents and made sure they were all good. I got my rebate checks in the mail no problem. Despite those two small things, Air Experts is a really great company and I look forward to getting my service through them in the future. My AC unit was installed very well.

When our systems proved to be too old and repair was more costly than just buying a new one, we ended up contacting Air Experts for a quote on replacement of the systems. They responded in a very timely manner which was appreciated since it was very hot and one of our systems had stopped working altogether. Dave Hepner, the project manager, showed up to our home on time and was very helpful explaining all the systems to us - positives and negatives. He was very patient with our questions as this is a huge deal for homeowners. He gave us reasonable options and times that worked to our advantage. He did not force us to make a decision at the time. He did provide us good options that night via email and we decided that their reviews were excellent and they seemed to care about their work and their clients. We accepted his offer that night. The next day, the installers showed up on time, if not early, and started working professionally and independently. My husband decided that he was going to stay in the house while they work to keep an eye on things and calm our dog. By 2pm, they were done. They tested one system and it worked fine and they started the other one working, assuming no issues. Dave was communicating throughout asking for progress. By 3:30 to 4pm, my husband decided to call the office to tell them that the second system was not cooling. The office contacted another worker to come and have a look at the system. Meanwhile, Dave had let us know that the work will get done today and tonight we will have functioning systems. The guy came and worked for a couple of hours, way after 5pm on a Friday to get the second system to work and it did. They were really great and did as they promised. We had an issue with the final bill. They had charged us $200 more than the quoted price, but after clarifying the issue, they were apologetic and they refunded us the amount with no problems and pretty quickly. We would definitely recommend them and use them again.
